Fine. Rooms themselves were okay, on the small size. The shower was awful, water splashes everywhere as the curtain isn't long enough. Breakfast was okay some days, and bad others. Some days there would be items missing, food would be cold etc. Very limited selection for breakfast too. Coffee machine was broken and a kettle was provided, which is fine, however was overfilled by a member of kitchen staff and spilled boiling water everywhere, a real hazard for children!

Hotel is fairly remote and a car drive from anywhere really. Room was nice and clean. Waited an hour and a half for dinner as they were short staffed. Ended up ordering in for us and the children, worth bearing in mind when staying here that there is no restaurant or supermarket nearby.

Great value hotel, breakfast and evening meal were fine. A lot of trade guys there so the language can get a little flowery but that doesn't bother me. Staff were good, a decent hotel at a very reasonable rate, in a good location.

Upon check in, the member of staff (who was checking us in), informed us that there were no travel cots available for my 7 month old son. This is despite the website (official), advertising that travel cots were available at that location. Later, after talking to another member of staff, who thankfully was really helpful, and trying three travel cots, (which were available). Two of them were broken, we found a working one. Poor showing Travelodge; I'd expect better!

Firstly we explicitly asked for a disabled room for my grandparents. The beds were ridiculously small and you could feel the springs through the bed. My elderly disabled grandparents didn’t sleep all night and my grandfather fell off the bed due to its size. Even in a disabled room you expect a support for someone to help themselves up but that wasn’t even offered from the side of the bed or from the bathroom. We made a booking under the Raee surname last night and would like you to contact us immediately for some compensation from an incredibly terrible night

We arrived at the hotel at 8:45pm at night, only to be told that: 1. The room we booked was not available and there were no other available rooms, 2. It was the fault of the plumber 3. If I wanted to find somewhere for my family to sleep, I could call the hotel down the road. We had our, 3 and 6 year old children with us. We had a long journey to get there.

One of the better travel lodges I've stayed in. Rooms and were fine apart from we had a blocked shower plug so it almost over flowed until was dealt with. Pizza was good, although kitchen was lacking in ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful although not always about. Overall stay was pretty standard and no major issues. For the price it's about right.

The room was fine and very comfortable. Breakfast was awful, not enough plates, most food items run out and not replaced. Worst was that the disabled toilet in the reception area is apparently staff only but there is no sign to say this, so we had presumed our disabled son would be allowed to use it (as he had been the day before) but were told this was not allowed. We were eventually allowed to use it but after quite a delay.

We arrived late night early morning 3 am. The room was very cold (window open). No soap in dispenser in shower. And only one teabag which with 2 tea drinkers was not fun. But apart from that i recommend staying here. The sound proofing is the best i have known.

Basic Travelodge, staff very friendly and helpful, but rooms basic needed to ask at reception for hair drier, ok should of checked if rooms had hairdryers , pillows hard and lumpy, room also very smelly due to drains I think, had to try and sleep with windows open as hotel situated near a very busy round about and huge distribution centre very noisy through the night. Sorry travel lodge not the best .

Great location whilst visiting Bristol and most importantly very easy to find . There’s ample parking and a Costa next to it. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and had a very comfy bed .

Best Travelodge in Bristol in every way. The rooms are clean and tidy, the air is fresh, and the room temperature is perfect. Lavazza Coffee Machine in super room, hot chocolate, and kitkat. The staff is friendly and polite, and the management is definitely a credit to the business!

Certainly! The Travelodge hotel offers a pleasant stay with friendly staff and well-maintained, clean rooms. While the breakfast is reasonably priced, it's not included in the Rome price, but i finound it satisfactory for the cost (£9.90 per person). The hotel provides free parking and enjoys a strategic location near the science park. Additionally, the convenience of the M3 bus, connecting to Bristol city centre and passing through Bristol University, makes it an excellent choice for those who prefer not to drive into the city centre.

Location perfect as a 2 min walk to work for me. Paid for the better room but shower head was taped so it wouldnt fall down with elastoplast. Free parking

Great clean and tidy travelodge. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. The breakfast was OK but the egg was hard.

Unfortunately it was very ‘Faulty Towers’ when we stayed here on Saturday. We had booked a super room and it was so far from super. On arrival they confirmed no food was being served in the bar/cafe that evening. There was a relatively large queue at reception with one person only in duty. When we reached the room, the shower head was broken and when the one member of staff came, it could not be fixed. On the small made up bed, the pillow had no cover on and had a huge stain on it. There were coins scattered on the floor and where the kettle was, there was dirt all over the sides (god knows what it was)…. It was like the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. We were short of towels and there was a burn hole in the curtains letting light through. In fairness to the manager the next morning he dealt with the complaint to our satisfaction, but we had stayed at the Premier Inn across the road the night before and it was perfect. Not the fault of the staff, but the road noise is pretty loud on the motorway side despite the triple glazing….worth knowing for light sleepers. Would always opt for the Premier Inn now…

I was placed here with work, the breakfast isn't the best, but it isn't the worst! I prefer real orange juice ( just my preference) the room was superb! Comfy beds, clean, kitted out kettle cups etc and only a short drive from my place of work, looking forward to going back next week.

Overall, we were happy to find a last-minute place to rest our heads on a road trip, not too far from our next destination. The staff were friendly and helpful, the spaces were nice and clean, the place had a nice feel. Our room was a great size overall. I would say if you like a nice, firm bed, this would be perfect, but our family struggled to sleep as we're used to more of a medium firmness mattress wise. The bathroom was a little petite with the loo and sink so close, but not really a problem. Room tea and coffee weren't all that tasty. I have to say, the windows were excellent as there's a busy road very close by and yet the windows completely blocked the noise (there's AC to keep you cool/warm as you wish). Same with doors & walls, you don't hear other guests, so that was a big plus. We tried most of the breakfast bits. It was OK. Perhaps there's a company policy of how things are done, but it could have been a yummier with a few small tweaks. Overall a good night's stay with lovely staff.

Nice helpful staff, had one of the comfort rooms which was nice and big for our family. Breakfast good value. Overall a good stay.

The rooms were compact and functional. There was an issue with the floor in the bathroom getting wet when we had showers, but we just used towels on the floor. They were accommodating about giving us extra towels. There were no hair dryers, and you had to ask at reception. It was a bit inconvenient, but it was fine. The double room was probably not quite what my dad was expecting as he had hoped for a bigger bed, but it was fine. The family rooms are nice, a big, ideal for people with a kid. Personally, I'd recommend the twin room if you wanted a bigger bed/room option for couples. The double is fine if you are two very petite people and used to a smaller double bed. All in all, it was fine for the few days we were there, and we weren't in the rooms except to sleep, so they were perfect for that purpose.

We arrived about 11pm and receptionist was not at all helpful and we seemed to be more of an inconvenience than a valued customer! Considering our company had booked around 30+ rooms for the night! No soap in dispenser in bathroom. Good size bath towel but lack of hand towels and only one bath mat for more than one person!

Staff are lovely, hotel is almost new so in pretty good order, location is not the best right between the M4 and the ring road so its very noisy but silent with the window shut. This is where the problem starts, the aircon doesnt work and all you get is a lot of flashing lights its like trying to sleep in a very hot fairground. Not a good night !!!

Great friendly staff always helpful and smiling. Rooms good but never seem to have soap in the dispensers in rooms. Food on site is good for travelodge alternative options are 2 good local pubs the folly and willy wicket (funny opening times)

Fairly new hotel but staffs need a lot of training. Many things to say.... From key card not working time to time / staff don't know the difference between wine opener and ice breaker/ kitchen wasn't open on the day because night kitchen staff didn't bother to come in/ list just goes on and on

Worst experience I’ve had with a UK hotel. Arrived just before 11pm to be told by a young lad in a hoody on reception “you have to stay somewhere else as we’ve overbooked, it’s happened to loads of people” No apology, no empathy. He sat banging keys on his keyboard then got up and walked out. Another lady took over “he finished at 11”. WOW! After 45 minutes waiting for a response from some team somewhere as they have no one to call - just email! I had to find somewhere to stay myself. Absolute shambles. No empathy from the first guy, complete lack of management and no proper process to deal with this outside of 9–5. Still awaiting a response to my complaint as well. Been over 2 weeks. DO NOT RISK BOOKING THIS HOTEL - Go elsewhere

My pov: The bed was comfortable, but the amount of dust and stains in the room-was awful, the room service did not show up the next morning to refill the coffee and so many things were broken in the room, and the worst thing was that the shower dispenser liquid was so diluted that it would not even foam. And they charged over 100 for a basic room. Was left very disappointed.

Very clean, tidy room which was perfect for the price. If I'm being picky the shower soap dispenser wasn't working properly but it's a really minor issue. Everything else was great

Arrived on Sunday evening. Told restaurant was not serving. Extremely hot on Monday and Tuesday, told sorry air is not working. Asian lad spent more time at front of hotel on his phone and vaping then serving customers. Shower gel holder empty. Sat at table in eating area before I approached him about ordering good. Most of other staff quite helpful. I don't hope to stay here again.

Nice visit. It's a Travelodge so no frills as you'd expect but properly appointed & clean: we had everything we needed for our short (3 night) stay. The staff on the desk were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good, there was an excellent selection of food & everybody ate handsomely but on Sunday it was very busy & chaotic with many people having to wait for plates, cups & cutlery as clean ones were not filled up with any urgency; the selection of food was not as great as Saturday or Monday & there was a wait for that as well. Given its location right on the M4 the soundproofing on the windows was amazing, with the window shut there was very little noise & everybody (including the children) slept well in the comfortable beds.

Overall, a very average experience. Paying for a 'Super Room' I was expecting it to be very clean and tidy, much like the Super Rooms I've previously stayed in at other Travelodges' around the country. The room was quite dirty, a large amount of thick, curly hairs in the bathroom, in the shower and on the towels. The room had a heater which didn't really seem to work. The shower had a fault, where the head wouldn't stay supported in the holder, so you had to hold it for the duration of your time in the shower. The staff on front desk took a while to attend to us upon arrival, and once there, turned out to be fairly quiet and not massively helpful. No food was available in the evening either due to lack of staff to cook which was a shame. Not all was bad though, the bed was incredibly comfortable and we got a wonderful night's sleep, perfect location for us and the breakfast in the morning was also very good.

Massive disabled room on 1st floor, but very difficult for me to open the heavy doors. Could have done with somewhere to put my suitcase so my carer didn't have to keep bending down to get me what I needed. Cafe very expensive and more like a McDonald's not welcoming at all very open so everyone can see you eating. Go across to the Willy Wicket very nice food and service. Lots of work vans parked in disabled bays.

I stopped as I was working in Bristol City centre The location is 15mins away. The place is on a small retail park next to a newish Police station so secure. The rooms look as though they have been refurbished and we're good The food was excellent, very HOT

It was awful. Super uncomfortable bed, freezing cold rooms, curtains blocked virtually no light out and it was very noisy from both the road and inside the hotel itself. It was so bad I checked out at 01.00 and drove an hour and a half home so I could actually get some sleep. I would've been more comfortable in the boot of my car than here.

Picked this hotel for the location as its close to Filton / Bristol City. The hotel is immaculately clean and my room is really comfortable. I turned up when there was limited staff working so it did take 15 mins to wait for someone to turn up at reception but it wasn't really an issue. Due to lack of staff the restaurants were also closed but there is a couple of options of pubs within walking distance, or if you have a car you can travel into Filton for more options. Bed is comfortable, room is relatively quiet. Breakfast is available here but I am always up too early to get it, but it looked nice and reasonably priced. There is also a small bar serving wine / beers etc. Nice clean hotel in good location with really friendly staff.

Absolutely shocking. When I checked in yesterday the bin in the room was full. When I returned today at 7pm the room hadn't been cleaned. I went for dinner to find there was no food as they don't have a chef. The young woman on reception suggested Uber Eats, um no, I wanted a proper meal. Then said there's a pub over the road, go up the steps at the back of the car park. Another couple were there and we all went. To access the 'steps' we had to climb over a broken pallet. Th gentleman went up and came back and said it was blocked off. Told young woman who said she was just the receptionist and there was nothing she could do and to walk around then So I did. Nice pub, nice meal. Now for the trek back. Oh yes breakfast starts at 7 but they don't actually get all the food out til about 7.15. Awful experience. Will tell my company to ask for a refund and never book it again.

Great service, friendly staff, located just out the way but nice and quiet. Easy to find, easy to park. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the TV comes with loads of freeview channels (which you don't see often). Recommend staying here if you're visiting Bristol

Room was comfortable and good facilities - lots of space. The A/C was really effective and very welcome. Bathroom was also good although the "open" shower wasn't draining as quickly as hoped. Location is "not good" because it is on a dual carriageway and only services in walking distance is a drive through Costa. Everything else requires driving. There are some running routes but I had to cross dual carriageway to undertake my chosen run. Breakfast was ok although "points" deducted for the single coffee machine not working, and absolutely no engagement from staff.
