I took my Dyson vacuum cleaner in for an overhaul. I received a good service. Reasonable priced. They were very quick. I highly recommend.

Great place for all domestic stuff like, kettles, washing powder, cutlery, flasks and water filters. The prices may be a little higher than average, but with that you get good quality stuff. Staff are always helpful, I phoned the shop to ask if they had water filters in stock for example, and they had only one pack of six left and they put this pack aside for me. Can collect points with their loyalty card system.

I have been a customer of Selectric for several years and they have supplied and installed electrical appliances in my previous and current house. Not only are they thorough in their surveys and installations, but their follow up services are second to none. I'm happy dealing with a small family firm that gives their customers serious consideration. They will give advice over the phone if I have any minor queries or send out an engineer promptly for more serious issues. I have recommended them to friends over the years and I will continue to recommend them highly for their efficient and reliable services.

Excellent repair to my Mother's washing machine, booked and executed in good time. Unfortunately simple instructions for sending the invoice were not followed, instead the invoice was sent to my Father's email, he passed away over five years ago. A bit of a faff.

The owner of this shop, Alan, is one of the most miserable and rude individuals walking this earth. He is very lucky to have customers - I only go here if I really need to because of the lack of friendly customer service. Pity because it is a handy store to have in Blackheath Village. Perhaps, C19 didn't affect this shop -because I am sure the customer service would be much more positive if customers are in short supply. Hence only 2 stars! I need a new dishwasher soon but will try elsewhere when buying it.

Paid 38 pounds for the repair of a vacuum cleaner. I told them that the problem was in the motor. The engineer called me back the next day and said that it is better to buy a new vacuum cleaner. My vacuum cleaner was not even taken apart because it left marks on the screws. . I don't recommend stay away from the engineer.
