My first visit and I'll probably go again. The foyer was fairly standard. The film presentation was good. Seats have seen better days, more important now all films now seem to be 15hrs long. My backside lost all feeling long before the hero saved the girl. Still the problem of people being there for too many other reasons than to watch a film.

Housed in a beautiful, striking art deco building in Beckenham, the Odeon cinema is family-friendly and a lovely asset for the high street. Good selection of films, really friendly staff and great selection of sweets and ice cream. The seats aren’t as comfy as others I’ve experienced but all in all a good cinema.

Good cinema, affordable prices, big screens. The seats could be more comfy. The whole cinema needs a refurb really but it does a job. Staff are really good and it does have a very good pick n mix and ice cream selection. Can't knock it.

Not the biggest, or best furbished Cinema, but when it comes to cosy, uncrowded, and nice staff, this place wins hands down. Only once encountered a rude member of staff, and she seems to have left. All the others, friendly, helpful, and polite. Even made me a make shift Mocha when they ran out of Mocha coffee and it was every bit as good as the real thing. Hope it stays as nice and relaxing as it currently is. Only one criticism, they don't show as many different films as some of their other Cinemas. Puzzled as to why. And wish they put more retro films on. Nothing like a 70s or 80s movie for great evening viewing.

First time here felt like average cinema 🎥 other than that good experience to watch double bill of doctor who movies from 1965/66. Seats like any other odeon which was nice. Not very busy so had a good time. Toliets were clean but the taps could of been better as taps were on the wall and not working properly.

I attended 173 primary school children and it was a great success. The staff were lovely and did what they had to. They accommodate us and handled the large group very well.

This was the strangest cinema I've been to for quite a while. It was very cold inside screen 6. Almost as if they want you to stay awake. Therefore, they turn off the heating. The food stops being served after a period of time too so I went to go get a hot dog or popcorn and they said the counter sorry is closed. This was rather early on in the night. I want to make the assumption that was around 9:00 9:30 that had no hot dogs. No popcorn. You couldn't get a slushy drink. It was just very strange that a cinema closes bar at that time. There are no late night showings at this place either, which I found strange as well. Greenwich Islington Lee valley pickets lock they all have late night shows but this cinema doesn't quite disappointed

Nice and clean with comfortable seating and a great atmosphere. Sound quality was as expected and the movies shown are usually popular. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I'd recommend booking your tickets here. Only problem is the parking, there aren't many nearby places to park at.

Good cinema, has all the basics that you need. Food is overpriced but this seems quite standard for most cinemas, they do have combo deals. Some of the screens are great but the smaller ones are not good in the hot weather. If I go, I prefer screen 1 not only because it’s the biggest but it’s the most comfiest

Reasonably priced, and conveniently local. I went and saw The Batman, and had a great experience here. The showing I was at was on Sunday lunchtime, and there were only a handful of people in the screen. I was in Screen 1, and it was great. Especially handy that they have gents and ladies toilets actually located off the theatre. This was useful considering it was a 3 hours long!

All of the good movies get taken down as soon as they are popular!! The food/beverages are slightly overpriced and the staff told me to go get my mom when I was buying a ticket.. not cool at all. This is why I rate 1 star. Please stop this!

Great value local cinema showing all the latest films. Standard seats seem strangely low? Update! Saw a film today in Screen 6. Screen seemed very high and not a good viewing angle from front 4/5 rows. Also cold once sitting down - definitely need your coat!

The cinema is fine but could do with a bit of renovation and paint etc as it is a bit run down, but a lovely art deco building so I'm sure it would be wonderful if it was renovated. The screen I was in was really hot as well. But the staff were okay and the film was good, and it was a quiet and relaxing screening.

We watched the new paw patrol film and was pleasant surprised about how clean the screen was. The staff were kind enough to come round and offer booster seat for the kids even though they are at the main desk for u to pick up on your own.

Lovely cinema but those of us wit dodgy knees could do with some mor railings to get to screens and then to seats. Won't put me off going though.

Secret gem £5 each any movie friendly staff and posters you can purchase after for charity. Shame it's always empty but it's like having our own private cinema. They should host more interactive, cos play and themed nights here. If they are able to show more movies that would be awesome. And if they use their massive foyer as a seated coffee hot spot area they would pull in more people.

Went to go and see Oppenheimer- upon first entering the cinema, I noticed it was a bit run down, having quite an old looking interior. They also didn’t have cookie dough chunks which was very disappointing. Need to do better with making sure they can provide everything, especially because it showed up as available on the website- so if someone bought it and they didn’t have it in stock they would have lost money and need to be refunded The chairs were bad, there were holes in my seat and whilst it was comfortable, it would have been nicer to have a newer feeling seat. Huge refurbishment needs to happen. Watched Oppenheimer in Screen 2 and the screen itself was small, didn’t feel like ‘the bit screen’ as they say but I could still enjoy the movie. There was also a couple who kept making noise during the film which was very frustrating Overall Oppenheimer was fantastic however the actual cinema was falling short and needs a big refurbishment if wanting to keep customers attracted and engaged

I went to see Wonka this week at Odean Beckenham, the staff were fantastic, friendly, professional, informative they were honestly amazing and added to the overall experience of going to the cinema, however the red cinema chairs weren't comfortable to sit on for 2 hours and the Fanta was so disappointing because it tasted watered down (my mum had diet coke and she also said it tasted watered down) and as a result I can't give the Odean more than a 4 which is a shame. I feel like the company is failing its staff.

Lovely cinema :) staff always friendly . During the winter some of the screens bit chilly or during summer but warm dress accordingly as the building is listed so there is only so much they can do . Otherwise easy to get to and always clean.

Hotter than the sun. Everyone arrived in autumnal clothing when really we needed shirts and flip flops. Seat was comfy enough and screen quality was decent. Just turn the air con on yall!

Nice place to watch a movie in peace and quiet. Neither busy nor out of the way. Every single weekend, the kids beg to come back.

Good cinema and staff are friendly. Grateful to have the cinema close by to visit now and again. The scene rooms however can be a little more cleaner as well as the seats.

Movie theater is very dated. Seats don’t recline. But was a decent experience can’t really fault what was there.

Yesterday I went to ODEON Beckenham High Street for the first time with high expectations because it was my first time with ODEON. Will not recommend anyone to visit it as literally it was stinking inside. The seats were of some leather kind of cheap material i don't know whether they cleaned it or no but the seats were totally uncomfortable. I am not commenting on this to claim money or anything please do not take me wrong but I do not want someone to waste their £10.00 by visiting this Cinema. The ventilation system is so bad as well, literally during 2 hours I was spraying one of my perfume which luckily i brought with me. Disgusting

I was absolutely disappointed by the whole experience. My toddler got a cornetto ice cream and the wafer was soft and stale that I ended having to throw it away. When I complained, the lady told me it’s because it’s the ‘soft’ cornetto brand. Sorry soft does not mean stale and falling apart. In addition to that, my toddler refused to go in to the cinema so we had to forfeit our tickets. I mean it wasn’t their fault my daughter didn’t want to go in but their customer service certainly didn’t help.

Always enjoyed this cinema, not as nice as bromley as they have reclining seats but still good either way.

Very atmospheric old cinema now split into a multi plex. Comfy and easy to get to, especially parking. The only downside is that the food and drinks cost more than the film tickets.

I wanted to book online for a film today, The website is possibly one of the most horrible I have encountered, complicated , messy and quite annoying.. I didn’t bother in the end ..maybe il just go and see if I can get a ticket at the venue. Or maybe il go to the Vue in Bromley or the Everyman in Crystal Palace...much easier !

Good location, has parking round the back of cinema which is free after 19.30, food and refreshments are pricey and yummy, cinema is clean, staff welcoming. Good evening out for a couple hours and cheap if you can't afford to slash the cash. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

Odeon Cinema in Beckenham is a great place to catch the latest blockbuster movies in a comfortable and modern setting. I recently visited this cinema and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The cinema itself is spacious and well-designed, with a modern and sleek interior that is both stylish and comfortable. The seating is plush and offers plenty of legroom, which is a welcome change from some of the cramped cinemas I've been to in the past. The sound and picture quality at Odeon Cinema in Beckenham are also top-notch. The screens are large and offer an immersive viewing experience, while the sound system is powerful and crystal clear. I particularly enjoyed the 3D screenings, which added an extra layer of excitement to the movie-watching experience. One thing that sets Odeon Cinema in Beckenham apart from other cinemas is its selection of snacks and drinks. In addition to the usual popcorn and soft drinks, the cinema offers a range of gourmet snacks and alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine. This is a great option for those who want to enjoy a drink or snack while watching their favorite movie. Overall, I highly recommend Odeon Cinema in Beckenham to anyone looking for a comfortable and modern cinema experience. The high-quality sound and picture, comfortable seating, and great selection of snacks and drinks make it a great choice for movie lovers of all ages.

Used to go here as a kid (some 20 years ago!) and the facilities were dire. Avoided going back until recently and I’m pleased to report that there have been dramatic improvements to the facilities, cinema equipment and general decor. One thing I did note in particular was all the staff were exceptionally friendly. My only criticism would be the tiered seating isn’t as generous with height between rows as other venues.

Came back here today for the first time in years! I usually go to Bromley Vue so coming here was quite different in that the seats felt so squashed together. On the plus side they have dropped their prices so they are now cheaper than both Bromley Picturehouse and Bromley Vue. The price for 1 adult 1 child in a regular seat in £13 so I will be coming back again. Update: odeon saver tickets in the week are now a fiver so very good value!

Lovely friendly staff, very clean. The down side, not much leg room and seats are quite low which is fine for adults but kids (ten and below) needed to sit on a few coats to see which isn’t ideal. A minor inconvenience, wouldn’t stop me from coming again.

We went to see Avatar - The way of water and were extremely lucky to be the only ones in the cinema. The staff are really friendly which is a big bonus and they even provided us with free 3d glasses as we didn’t have any. The building is a little old and tired, and the screens aren’t as good as other multiplex cinemas I have been too. At only £9 a ticket for the latest blockbuster you really can’t complain. Large drink and large popcorn as just over £11 but I got a litre of coke zero. And a bucket full of popcorn. Toilets were a gross though. Definitely need attending more. Or just a complete overhaul.

Auditorium smelt musty and had a lingering odour. Signs lead me to believe that toilets were upstairs when infact they are not . As I approached the toilets the smell of urine was getting stronger and stronger and the toilets were a messy with water all over the floors. Taking into consideration its not far from where they serve customers with food items ...this is pretty appalling. I mean what are the staff doing when customers are watching their movie and the foyer is practically empty??🤔
