Good location, building and theatre. Unfortunately they don't offer non alcoholic lagers, on the two occasions I've been there.

Wonderfully restored Community Hall, Venue. Nice bar, though not too many seats. Auditorium was warm, seating not too cramped. Great for smaller shows or talks. Wish there were larger toilet facilities.

I really enjoyed seeing the Nutcracker here with my young daughter. Very welcoming to children and no stress. Thank you also for the wonderful photo opportunity at the end, with the dancers! That was such a lovely extra, thank you.

Been here a few times now and it’s been great. Few times with a school for their production and the other time for the 70’s/80’s themed event. Always kept really clean and staff are very helpful and kind.

Great concerts, excellent front of house staff and automatic doors and ramps make the venue accessible to all.

Went to see the Richard Coles touring show. Easy access to the venue and all seats had a good view. Well organised getting in and out of the hall which was full.

I hate to complain about this excellent venue but the temperature and humidity at last nights Phil Beer gig spoilt an otherwise superb evening. Curtains closed, no windows open or ventilation and all doors shut made thr hall an unpleasant sweat box. Also some concern over viral safety especially with the imergence of a new covid strain. I must finish though by saying this has not been my experience of this venue in the past which has been really good. I will be back again but I hope my points are acted upon for future events.

Good venue. Bar needs to up its game. Draught beer was off and staff overwhelmed.

We went to see The Princess and the Frog. My daughter loved it. The seating options for the kids were great; there were mats at the front so that they could be right at the front and see everything. The staff were very helpful with getting our prams in the store and finding our way to the performance space. The toilets were clean and very Accessible.

God's own place to see bands, comedy and singers - have seen so many people at this place and can usually get out to get last orders at the local on a Saturday night. Check the website to see who is coming on, they have a good mix of artists and have even been known to run a burlesque evening ! Recent upgrades ensure top notch sound and lighting rigs and all the staff team are lovely...even to people who turn up late. Saturday 13th May see's me at Kate Rusby, a folk singer with a pure and wonderfully sonerous voice which filled the hall perfectly. Highly recommend as the train station is a few minutes away and transport links across London are close by.

Theatre room is big and comfortable with great visibility in all seats, but entrance can get too packed in big events. Had a bad experience with a staff member who wanted to make us move seats and leave ours available for latecomers, which we refused since it would be rewarding tardiness

This is a beautiful theatre hall set at the top of Blackheath Crown Dale, worth a visit!

The venue was lovely and warm (a real plus in December). I went to see Blackheath goes Gospel, and the choir were great. The main compare, Lena, was awesome and definitely encouraged audience participation. Real feel good, community event. There were ample facilities ie toilets and staff (the latter were friendly and helpful). Sound and and seating plans were good. The slight niggle is parking in Blackheath. I ended up in Blackheath train station car park which although pricey is better than a ticket and the stress of trying to find somewhere else. It's less than 5 minutes from the venue and has loads of spaces. I wouldn't even bother trying to find anywhere else in future.

Love this venue but the sounds is always much higher than what is safe for toddlers. Yesterday I checked and it went up to 114dB (safe volume 60dB for babied and 70dB for toddlers) I get its a music venue but this might need to be reviewed long term.

Lovely disabled-friendly venue in the heart of Blackheath Village, very close to both rail and bus services. Note that the bar area and foyer can get very busy before performances (standing room only).

Lovely venue for live music. Kept very clean and tidy with a nice bar/cafe and plenty of toilets. All sorts going on here throughout the year, and ticket prices are reasonable.

One of the house managers here is one of the loveliest human beings you could ever hope to meet ❤️❤️ I won't name names but she happens to be from Dublin.

I came for the Early Music Festival. Bought some sheet music and managed to resist the beautiful recorders on sale. I already have three sopranos three altos two tenors two basses and a great bass. Apparently Henry the eighth had hundreds.

Raked seating was so comfortable! A real surprise. Building is beautiful and the bar area a good size for the size of venue with enough staff put on to actually be able to get through all customer orders at interval time. Really enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

Lovely theatre. Lots of room and good bar. Only downfall they didn't take cash behind the bar when I visited. It was card only.

Cozy and intimate atmosphere for a concert and very well organised. Nice bar and staff. I enjoyed the concert of John Illsley from Dire Straits very much.

Went there to see Michael Macintyre try out new material and it was brilliant! Warm up act was great too! Venue is great, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, bar is pricey I paid £6 for a med wine in a plastic cup, so that does cheapen it a bit, no cash all contactless and it does need more seating in the bar area. Easy to get to I used 89 bus almost to the door, but getting home check public transport because busses are hourly and train station is a bit intimidating with lots of drunks n homeless hanging about, I did feel a bit nervous so I caught a cab, best £25 quid I spent! All in all it was a great night tho! Would definitely go back to see more shows! I never heard of it before this show so I shall be keeping an eye on what they show.

Great night of comedy, came with my partner who needs a wheelchair and they were so kind and made sure to accommodate us at the last minute , in future I would tell them in advance to make it easier for them , everyone was so kind and considerate with disabled parking and access to disabled toilets . Great venue and 5 star staff , be aware the bar gets very busy .

Only just visited since the revamp.... tiered seating and a purple themed redecoration make it a good deal more swish than the old halls.

Great seating. You get a clear view from wherever you are. Bar could be.better managed.
