I have had a number if occasions where I had to go to this wonderful jewelers and every time I have come away more than happy with what was done for me. This is a wonderful place to go if you want your watch fixed or any other kind of jewelry, you will not be dissatisfied no matter how small or how big and you will also like the at all the work that has been done for you. Today I had another visit to this fabulous shop and again I got all the help that I needed and I was so happy I just had to say a little bit more as I was so really happy both with the price and what I bought they are so very nice I would recommend that every one in London go there. I went there again in September and I am very pleased with the cufflinks and tie pins I bought they are wonderful with my shirts and my friends all say how well they look on me, looking forward to the next time.

I was visiting London and my fiancé gifted me a beautiful vintage Rolex. It was a few links too big, and I really wanted to comfortably wear it on our trip. I took it to Alsal Watches as they are down the street from my hotel - they were able to take care of me within an hour and did a beautiful job. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic service! Stopped in on a whim to see if they could do something about my automatic mechanical watch which was losing about 20 seconds a day. It's now almost dead accurate, only gains +-5 seconds a day! Asked the top class bloke behind the counter "How much do I owe you?" Answer : Nothing!!

Genuinely one of the nicest family owned watch shops I’ve stepped foot into. Apart from their impressive stock of Junghans and Casio’s, I was welcomed by Tim and his brother- they were both very humble and insightful.

I've had watches mended, batteries replaced, straps resized, & jewellery repaired. Everything has been done to an incredibly high standard and the customer services is always fantastic. Alsal really is a gem of a place. First used them to source a fairly obscure Citizen watch for me - they had it in the shop for me next day. Since then, they've done maintenance, battery replacements, strap adjustments of my watches (am watch junkie) and I've bought a couple more things from them, including interesting jewellery. They are always helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and most of all they know their stuff inside out. I hope they are there forever and I will keep on going back as long as they are.

All the positive reviews of Alsal Watches encouraged me to give them a try and I’m really glad that I did. It’s hard to find a watchmaker with reasonable prices and a short turnaround time in London (and often beyond) and Alsal haven’t disappointed. I have a microbrand chronograph watch that needed a dial swap and some modifications to the sub-dial register hands and I initially made an enquiry by email, which was answered by Ali within an hour. I then took the watch to the shop and Tim had the work completed in less than two days, despite some issues with the manufacturing tolerances of the replacement dial. He then looked at a subsequent issue free of charge and the watch is running as intended. Throughout the process, the level of professionalism and customer service I received was exceptional and the fee was very reasonable. All work is quoted on once Alsal have seen your watch and they only charge for the work that needs doing. I thoroughly recommend Alsal Watches, based on my experience so far.

I went to Alsal watches to fix my watch as another watch shop messed up my watch. Alsal was very helpful to try to fix it and was transparent what could be resolved. Happy with the service and attentive advice. I wish I went straight to them instead of to that other place which I regret!

Guven is a fantastic jeweller and a great guy. I came to him with a small bag of old family diamonds and no clue how to put them into an engagement ring. Together we worked out the design and he crafted a beautiful ring which has had many, many compliments now that’s it’s on my fiancé’s finger. Can’t thank Guven enough, great service and very good price as well.

Excellent family run business with exceptional standards of service. I brought them an old IWC Schaffhausen, bought second hand from someone who had clearly neglected it. They quickly confirmed it's authenticity and mechanism, and sensitively restored it good as new. Staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Will not hesitate to use their services again and recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable watchmaker in central London.

Great friendly service, quick, reasonably priced. Clearly not trying to rip customers off and whilst repairing my watch they even made a minor repair to another piece free of charge.

Great service, great price, lovely people. The only issue is that they don't serve you with caviar and crackers whilst you wait for a quick repair. Brilliant though and having dealt with horologists for 50 odd years these are the best. Well recommended.

Best shop in London for anything watch related. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I'm always surprised when they have some of the spare parts right in the shop! The prices are also very reasonable.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Alsal Watches today and my experience was great. I recently purchased a ring online and wasn’t sure if I’d been - for lack of better wording - ripped off. The team were very accommodating and offered to check it out for me. They tested the gold and diamond authenticity, walked me through the specs, and gave me an approximate estimation of value. Their expertise, customer service, and friendliness did not go unnoticed. I’d definitely recommend giving them a visit, their kindness made my day!

I've recently had two jobs completed here, one a ring repair which was carried out sooner than estimated, at a very reasonable price and with excellent skill. Then more recently my father-in-law's watch was repaired but they refused to charge for it. Excellent people and would highly recommend to all.

First time visitor. Went for basic repairs on 2 watches and ended up having lovely conversations about watches and electric cars (out of left field, right?). Left with both watches fixed, as well as a new nato strap that's perfect for one of them. Also learned a new way of wearing nato straps. Fantastic service all round. Definitely going back!

I used to visit Alsal watches regularly when I worked in The Strand a long time ago. Recently I wanted to have my father's old watch repaired and did not know where to send it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Alsal Watches still exists and is still run by the same family . My son dropped the watch off and it was send back to me. The service was as I remember it : friendly, reliable and professional. Furthermore the expense was extremely modest. This is shop is one of London's treasures - long may it remain.

Needed my watch strap fixed and sorted the issue quickly and efficiently. The strap will eventually require full replacement and they were honest and open about the issue. Will be using them from now on when I need such things sorted.
