recommend
Shahid's
lessons,
and,
if
anyone
is
looking
for
some
help
with
their
wedding
first
dance,
I
recommend
speaking
to
him
about
some
private
sessions
:)
My
partner
(now
husband
:)
)
and
I
had
really
enjoyed
Shahid's
lessons
(when
we
were
able
to
get
along
pre-Covid).
We
had
enjoyed
progressing
through
his
beginner
skills
in
the
lessons
and
the
salsa
dance
events
that
he
runs.
We
were
also
really
pleased
to
be
able
to
join
some
of
the
online
sessions
he
very
generously
kept
going
for
his
students
during
the
lockdown.
When
we
were
finally
able
to
get
a
date
for
our
wedding
as
Covid
restrictions
relaxed,
we
realised
we
wanted
a
romantic
first
dance,
but
wouldn't
have
much
time
to
plan
it
because
of
the
timelines,
and
would
have
to
do
it
virtually.
Shahid
worked
wonders
with
us!
Shahid
used
part
of
one
of
the
routines
he
had
taught
us
on
Valentines
day
in
his
online
class,
and
added
to
it
and
adapted
it.
Shahid
guided
us
to
a
nice,
romantic
salsa
song,
with
all
of
the
feels
in
it,
and
found
a
perfect
tempo
for
us
to
dance
to
it.
We
took
online
zoom
sessions
with
him,
where
we
learned,
then
cleaned
the
routine
up.
Most
importantly,
Shahid
helped
get
us
all
the
little
adaptations
that
made
it
possible
to
dance
a
romantic,
close
salsa
in
my
wedding
dress
with
a
sizeable
partial
train
:)
Practicing
the
dance
with
my
fiancee
in
the
days
coming
up
to
the
wedding,
and
then
being
able
to
dance
together
in
something
that
felt
very
special
and
tailored
to
feel
just
right
for
us
made
it
feel
like
a
very
special
and
intimate
part
of
the
wedding
day
and
celebrations.
It
made
our
wonderful
day,
really
perfect.
