😠 The customer service is dreadful. I love the stuff in the shop but I think I would be more comfortable dealing with robots rather than having to put up with the condescending attitude of the staff in the shop. I had the misfortune to come across someone called Lola - full of attitude !!! People often mention service, shop, customer, table, furniture, quality, lamps, delivery, order,

I am utterly disgusted with the way I have been treated by OKA customer services. As a long-standing OKA fan my whole house is full of the quality OKA furniture that has stood the test of time. Sadly now customer services are withholding the independent report results on my sub-standard OKA sofa. The independent assessor was in agreement with me that the sofa quality is bad, and yet OKA says the findings are that there ‘is nothing wrong with it’ . The quality of the products OKA are now producing is sub-standard to that of IKEA and yet OKA still want to command the quality price tag. I will never buy another product from them as they are not holding their hands up to do the right thing and repair a product that is nowhere near the quality that they USED to be renowned for and which are no longer part of their product portfolio.

I’ve always loved the shop, to the extent I made one of my wedding lists at Oka. I couldn’t be more disappointed with the service and customer care I’ve received. Speaking to different people at the shop and at customer service, being promised e-mails and phone calls and never hearing back from them. Oka can’t allocate the money my friends and family gave me as wedding presents. I’m left having to pay for things out of pocket and a justification that the shop and the wedding list team don’t work together despite me doing the wedding list at the shop to begin with. If I were the owner I’d be embarrassed with how my team handles my customers.

Lovely shop and good stock. I often shop there. However, customer service is nonexistent. Most of the staff are hiding in the room behind the till on the ground floor. Most of them are very unwelcoming and look like they are doing customers a big favour. Much training is needed.

Useless store manager. Very rude and patronising red hair woman. I use to shop here for the beautiful OKA products for some of my clients however goodbye. Awful service.

Awful customer services! Post Sale team doesn’t care once they get your money, not willing to help with wrong orders, sales Assistant Ash with very bad actitud and Marie the manager hides behind anyone to avoid confrontation

Honestly the worst website and customer service. I purchased 2 bedside table lamps and they arrive with no shades. I call up and query this and I am informed shades are not included with the lamp bases. This was not explained on the website. I had paid £10 for next day delivery as needed the lamps as ASAP so this was disappointing especially as it is not clear on the website. The customer service person I spoke to said that people had complained about this previously! So I go on the website and order 2 lampshades and again pay the £10 for next day delivery. The order never arrives! I call up 2 days after ordering to a very unapologetic customer service person saying oh these lamp shades are out of stock! No notification was sent and she didn’t even apologise!! Asked for a refund and waiting for it. Absolute joke.

Great service and happy with the table design I purchased but the Colour of the table is not at all as it looked online. Described as oak and looks like it online but in real life it is almost a grey-black Colour. Disappointing as we will now need to strip and treat the table.

Two Tarma armchairs ordered in November and December 2022. One had to be sent back because it was smelly. The other has now started to lose its metal studs. According to OKA their furniture is only guaranteed for 6 months.

Awful customer service. We ordered a mirror which they claimed was delivered and left with a lady named "Emma". We do not have an Emma in our household, and when asking for proof of delivery in any form, they have been unable to provide us with any and have instead placed the blame on our shoulders. Avoid Oka at all costs. A special mention should be made to Scott Clingham from the Customer Service team who is particularly rude and unhelpful.

Wow! How bad can it get? service is a joke. Ordered a dinner table in June and delivered but wrong bolts supplied. Delivered new bolts in July and waited patiently for them to put the table together. October decided to fit the legs after so many shop visits and complete waste of time. Fitted bolts but too long so split the table! Back to the shop and apologies and promises of a replacement table. 5 emails later table on the way so we travelled from Yorkshire to take delivery in our London home. 30 minutes before the delivery time we had a call to say the table is out of stock…How can that be? Wasted £200 on train tickets etc and still no table but more apologies. I would recommend you buy your furniture elsewhere.

I purchased some beautiful prints from the Chelsea store. But can I get them delivered - I just can’t. I am massively out of pocket and ignored by customer service and their delivery service. If I had bought these on line I would have assumed I had been scammed. I just don’t know how such a large company can treat customers so badly.

Do not shop here! To be completely fair we had a great shopping experience initially, we bought so many things because we loved the style and pretty much furnished our London flat with their things. And because we loved it, we decided to buy items for our home in Asia. One of the items we bought came broken and that’s when they started dragging out the process (keep saying the person we need to speak to is busy/not in) and eventually completely ignoring us. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with any furniture store- basically getting scammed. It’s like they’re hoping we will just give up and accept the broken mirror?? I don’t even know if this is legal and will have to seek advice on this but I’m just appalled at the service. So spare yourself the headache and avoid getting scammed too

HORRENDOUS Customer service. I placed a very large order and paid for expedited shipping. One small cushion was out of stock, and no one alerted me via phone or email. After two weeks without the order (it was meant to be delivered next day), I reached out to customer service via phone call three times and via email three times. No response and I still do not have the order nor an updated order status. Will definitely NOT shop here again. Go elsewhere. Not worth the headache.

We visited this OKA shop in Chelsea several times, but today was something else! We chose the cushion covers we liked and the sales assistant was unwilling to give us new ones. She kept saying how they are new . At which point I have indicated we purchased things from oka before and we preferred to leave it rather than having to carry 4 big cushions in bags on a rainy day like today. Suddenly 4 new covers appeared within minutes. She refused to give us new cushion fillings as she wanted us to take the ones from the shelf. We just decided to purchase those from elsewhere. We proceeded downstairs to pay for few other items and asked about their lamps as we knew there was a 15% sale on the lamps. When asked about the table lamps the sale assistant said there was no sale on the item. Only after I prompted him he was reminded that there was a sale on the table lamps. We didn’t buy them of course and if we didn’t have a £500 voucher, we wouldn’t have been purchasing anything from this shop.

The displays of furniture and soft furnishings are inspirational. It is well worth a visit. I noted that prices were reasonable too. Staff were attentive, but not overwhelming.

Possibly the worst customer service experience I have had. To apologise for a faulty product, but not offer any kind of solution is unbelievable. Terrible quality and worse customer service.

Beautiful items. Quality on some items is better than others. They could improve after-sales service - we bought a lamp that unfortunately broke and they had no recommendation for repair and were really unhelpful.

Tasteful furniture and helpful staff. Always advisable to look at the real thing before you buy online. We went to check out a table with a 'carved wooden base' that turned out to be plastic. Disappointed the obliging assistant when we walked out, but really, they should sort out their website descriptions...
