I feel this place is OVER RATED considering my recent visit here. I agree it was one of the best in town a few years back, when I was a fan of this place too. But it has changed a lot now. Those clean, tidy and rich ambience is not visible anymore. It's just going on a flow that it's a good restaurant for Vegetarian food. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the food was great as it was earlier. Started with their best and trademark dishes, but none of them tasted as good as it was earlier. And the pizza was a disaster, it is not at all tasty as it looks to be. Overall experience was very average and to come back to this place after so many years wasn't a best choice on my Saturday noon, crossing all the traffic to reach this place. Anyways, I felt it average, doesn't mean every other person would feel the same, in that case, you can give it a try and decide on yourself.

Good Vegetarian place! Great variety on the menu and well managed reservations and seating. Service is quick and friendly staff. Valet Parking available. Top picks in food here - sizzlers, dumpling soup and potli appetizers. Gets crowded on weekends. Would have liked more space between tables, cramped up setting. Ambience is lively.

Pros 1.Veg restaurant with a wide variety of menu!! 2. Super quick service 3. Great taste 4. Excellent presentation. 5. Ample car parking space Cons 1. It's obviously very costly - but I would say, once in a while it's worth it.

This place is pure vegetarian. That's a plus point for most of us. Food was good. Lots of dishes with different taste. Place is not good enough. Its not properly maintained dusty, uncleaned and unhygienic. Its in open place with poor dull lighting with lots of mosquitos. Tried many dishes here. Taste is good but. Need to improve ambience. Owner has saved a lot with its typical interior. I have given 3 star just because it is vegetarian and taste is good! πŸ‘

A great spot to catchup with the team, family, or friends. The place is spacious, with ample parking and easy to locate. The staff are courteous and the food is amazing. There are a wide range of options and the best part is that the food is vegetarian and very soothing and delicious. A must try.

Nestled by the main road, The Bangalore Cafe stood out with its large English-only sign, missing a touch of the local language. It's got convenient parking, whether you're on two wheels or in a car, complete with valet service. The restaurant, located on the 1st floor, also offers take-out options on the ground floor. Inside, the ambiance is charming, and there's plenty of room for everyone. The menu looked like a foodie's dream, packed with interesting options that make you want to try a bit of everything. However, it's worth noting that the prices lean towards the higher side. They're big on vegetarian dishes, especially Paneer, baby corn, and potato variations. The mocktail options were delicious, and we indulged in quite a few starters and mocktails. Despite the tempting menu, the service was a bit slower than expected. We ordered rotis, curry, and a rice item, but it never made it to our table. After waiting for quite some time, we found out about the delay. It would have been great if they had given us a heads-up, we would have ordered something else on the menu. However, we were running late and couldn't wait any longer. Adding to the frustration, there was a language barrier with the waitstaff. Most of them didn't speak Kannada, and a few struggled with English, only understanding Hindi. This led to some repeated explanations, which got a bit tiresome. On a practical note, I didn't spot an elevator for disabled individuals, but I might be mistaken. In a nutshell, The Bangalore Cafe has a lovely setting and an exciting menu, but the prices, service hiccups, language challenges, and possible accessibility issues are factors to keep in mind.

I fell in love with the way the food was presented. Everything here is just so unique and instagrammable. The food not only looks good, but also tastes heavenly! Great for large family groups or friends outing. Loved the ambience which is super calm. Must try are definitely desserts, pizza and milk shakes.

Cafe has an amazing vibe with quality food. It feels a little on the higher side on prices but maybe they ingredients makes up for it. The palce has enough parking facility and service is ok, can be better. Better to take reservation during weekends and peaks hours.

Great vegetarian cafe with a lot of tasty as well as insta-worthy food options. Service is also great. It will give an old town Bangalore vibe. North Indian options are also pretty good, shakes and mocktails are the best.

A very nice place to visit and enjoy your weekends with family and friends. Tried a number of dishes there but the best ones were parinda and the sizzler. The Main course where we ordered some lusuni paneer and naan/roti was just okay okay. The staff was also Decent and helpful. In total a place worth visiting. Highly recommended, loved it

As a pure vegetarian it makes me so happy that this cafe has many varieties of food from desi fusion to gourmet ones . We tried Panipuri which was very fancy they served pani in tubes; Then we had Himachali malai cheese broccoli which was chatpata a must try dish. Also had awadh ki shaan biryani perfectly spicy according to my taste it also had baby Potatoes in it which goes well with the veg biryani. Now comes the best and my favorite kitti chokha special mention to chef for this will come again for this. The Mocktails were quite refreshing and presentation was top notch. I also tried watermelon feta cheese salad I loved it usually I dnt eat much salad but here it was too good. In dessert we had mamas tart which was really nice. All over the food didn't only have awsome presentation or delight to eyes ; it was full of flavours. Highly recommend this cafe to everyone who wants to enjoy five star hotel food in budget friendly prices.

Craving veggie? This hidden gem boasts a charming ambiance, diverse menu (think North Indian classics & Western delights!), and top-notch food. It's pricier than usual, but trust me, every bite satisfies. Ideal for family/friend lunches & dinners. Parking's a challenge near the double road, but well worth the puzzle!

Modern Indian Cuisine which includes dishes with a twist to the traditional dishes. The food was delicious. You can get a good meal like paratha and curry or snack times from chat to sandwiches here. Quick service. Good ambience but a bit noisy due to loud music.

Great ambience. Comfortable seating. The place offers huge variety of food and snacks. Each item served is very beautifully or uniquely presented on the table and the quantity too looks good for the price. All the starters I tried were yummy, some of the must try is added in the pictures.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bangalore Cafe, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a vegetarian, finding a restaurant that offers a diverse menu with delicious options can sometimes be a challenge. However, The Bangalore Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and comfortable. The modern yet cozy decor creates a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The seating arrangements are well-spaced, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. Moving on to the menu, I was thrilled to see the extensive selection of vegetarian dishes available. From traditional Indian cuisine to innovative fusion creations, The Bangalore Cafe truly caters to all tastes. The flavors in each dish were outstanding, with a perfect balance of spices and ingredients. Whether you're a fan of North Indian curries, South Indian dosas, or even international delights, this place has it all. What impressed me even more was the use of fresh and locally sourced ingredients in their preparations. The quality of the vegetables and herbs was evident in every bite, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. It's evident that The Bangalore Cafe takes pride in serving high-quality food to its patrons. The service at The Bangalore Cafe deserves special mention. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and well-informed about the menu. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and cater to any specific dietary requirements. The food was served promptly, and the waitstaff ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Visited this place with my friend to have lunch. Located in the heart of the city. Very spacious for car parking and within the restaurant. Dine in and take out are available separately. It's a veg only restaurant. Almost all dishes were delicious and had a great presentation while serving. Loved the papdi cone. The desserts were also great. Customer friendly employees. I will definitely be visiting again for the taste and ambience. And would surely recommend to anyone who wants to try out tasty vegetarian food around shantinagar. Its a great place to hang out with friends and family.

It is a vegetarian restaurant that has successfully given the normal vegetarian fare a fusion twist making it appealing not only to the eye but also the palate. The restaurant layout is spacious and thoughtfully designed, so it can cater to both take aways and dine in. The dine-in space also caters to an outdoor garden on the ground floor, while indoors is on the 1st and 2nd floors having an open air concept - which is ideal in this covid environment. Considering its location having a car park is a luxury bonus! This place is worth exploring.

Recently visited @thebangalorecafe in Shanthi Nagar to have lunch with a bunch of my friends. It's a paradise for vegetarians. The dishes were so well curated and amazing in taste. My personal favorites were BBQ kachori, Shukla ji ki potli and chatpate cones in starters. Their mocktails and shakes were good too. You cannot miss out on the brownie shake. I can go back to this place for their most delicious Kadi chawal and chole kulche. The pizzas has good amount of cheese and toppings. Coming to desserts, I personally loved their Mamma's broken tart, which also looks so appealing. I personally loved this place, would definitely visit again ❀️❀️

Ambience: Casual and Open air. Feel good interiors. Food: Top class. Great presentation and adventurous. Read about Chef Shukla for inspiration. Variety: Good mix of flavours and interesting recipes. Service: Quick. Just make you tell them the sequence beforehand so you get your salads first, small bites next and so on. Price: Fair. Value for Money.

Naani ki Tokri is our must have so far, perfect starter for a family of 3-4. The quantity and quality they serve for the price is justifyable. The garlic fried rice smelt and tasted amazing, the mushroom starter was the star ⭐ of the show. The Margherita Pizza made me want to come back for more, the cheese pull😍, the fresh Basil, the softest bread and the melt-in-mouth texture cannot be described in any other way. Fries were amazing as well and the pad Thai we had was presented very well and was a nice spicy and tangy. Most UNDERRATED place for Vegetarians, as the unique dishes and the flavors will tango in your tongue.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide menu (only vegetarian) and wonderful desserts. Although the food is pricy, the quality and presentation justified every penny. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and try other dishes. 1. Chatpata cones - Well presented and tasted good. 2. Smoke lemon coriander - A little bland but gets better eating. 3. Lasooni tikka masala - A curry you cannot miss! It was so creamy, panneer was fresh and tasted delicious. 4. Chur Chur naan - A few places in Bangalore which serves this, it was crispy and spicy πŸ”₯, must try. 5. Triple cheese pasta 🍝 - it is very creamy and delicious, one of the favourites. 6. Deserts - very well presented and many options to choose from. Price for 2 - Rs.1200 Also, 2 wheeler parking can be difficult. Overall a great experience, good food and ambience.

Let me start off by saying I love non-veg but went here as my dad is pure vegetarian and does not eat at any place they cook non-veg. Our server was Resham and he was very friendly and professional. He knew what our kid would like and what goes well with what. on the food front, I have to say it was fresh and yummy! Not the usual vegetarian food so do give it a try and you will like it. Only thing... stay way from the watermelon drink.

Saw this place had great ratings and was completely vegetarian friendly, so went in for a late lunch. We started with the Blueberry mojito and the Watermelon one. I personally preferred the watermelon one but the Blueberry was good too, if only a tad bit sweet for my taste. We had Paneer Kariyapak (which I loved) and Nachos for starters. Not the best plate of nachos out there, but alright. For the main course, we got a Pesto Pasta which was too cheesy and bland. I would not recommend it. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience

We've always had a good experience here. The food is amazing. We ordered Crispy Garlic pizza, Gulabi Ankhein which was a beetroot pasta and both were lip- smacking! The highlight was Mama's Broken Tart, it's a must try if you visit the cafe. The service however was a concern as the servers seemed in a desperate hurry to serve the food. Even before we'd finished one dish, they were immediately in a rush to serve the next one, which was highly irritating given that the cafe was almost empty at that time. The washrooms were another concern as it was stinking badly. Request the management to kindly address this issue.

If you wanna try something different this place is good. The names of dishes, serving style, presentation of food is all taken care of really well. Almost 90% items are priced above 200 bucks which is quite expensive. But their starters collection is really good. Out of the ordinary to be short. The place is crowded so always better to reserve early. Crowd is mostly upper middle class families. Also it's easy to miss from a moving car. No air conditioning either.

Be it food, service, ambience - everything was top notch! Prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's totally worth trying out this place. We visited on a Saturday evening around 7 (Reservations are compulsory or be prepared to wait for an hour or more to get a table). The cafe was not crowded when we arrived, but all other tables were already reserved. We tried a variety of dishes & drinks - paneer chatori bites, Mushroom kariyapakam, Dahi Puri, Pani Puri, Himachal ke baadal ( Tandoor Brocolli) , Masala Paapad, Farmhouse Pizza, satrangi atrangi, aam panna, vanilla popcorn milkshake.Though pizza was a bit of a disappointment, everything else tasted really good. Vanilla Popcorn milkshake was excellent and that's something we would want to have again 😍 Gagan was great at helping out decide what to order and made sure service was quick enough. Definitely worth visiting! Especially in the evenings when the weather is good and the cafe is lit up 😍

Located in shantinagar it has plenty of parking within and a late closing time. Decor is akin to contemporary pubs and restaurants. Food is very tasty and priced surprisingly well for how good the food and portion sizes is. It's rated highly for a reason. Staff are very well trained and courteous. They even changed the type of pasta on a dish on request.

Not value for money. Food is food. Why do one charge over for the same food available else where I don't understand!! Charge abnormal for signature dishes, we understand!! But normal chats which are available at leas than 20/30 bucks outside is charged 250 bucks??? Is it right?? Regular fried rice is cooked extremely bad & over charged. The roadside fried rice are far far better tastier than the one which's served here @ 250 + bucks !! Rest menu is okay!! Not bad but not lip smacking & not as per the price!!! A big thumbs down ????????

Very interesting menu, beautiful ambience, has both outdoor and indoor arrangements. Food taste and quantity are both good. It is built in a very spacious location that adds uniquely to the charm. It's very well systematically operated with separate counters for sit down and take away food orders. While it is well seated in an easily approachable nook, the surrounding area gets pretty dark, hence in the evening its best to cab in and out from the TBC doorstep and not walk afar to get conveyance

Had been to this restaurant last month, would like to congratulate them on the variety of starters they offered, especially the paneer tikka, it was just perfect - nothing less nothing more, tried other starters from their menu, they were also ok, however don’t match upto the paneer tikka. Tried panipuri, was good. Chatpate cones - 3/5, Tomato soup - 5/5, Roti - 3/5 not that soft Hot chocolate fudge - 5/5, Orange blossom - 4/5, Husky watermelon - 3/5, it was served with red bull, I didn’t like the taste. But the garnishing and decoration looked interesting. Mixed veg curry - 3/5, we ordered same curry twice in a gap of 30mins, the one served first was really good, the later one wasn’t that great so I’m giving average rating for this. If you are fond of starters, deserts and mocktails then go for it, main course isn’t that tasty though. Nice place for Photoshoot, below is the sample. We were group of 15, the bill was around 13k, price is on higher side and manager over there would tempt you to order many items which you won’t even like, just look at the ingredients and decide if you can make it.

Loved the place right from the point we drove in. This is one of those places that's right at your face in the middle of the city yet no one is talking about it. The food here is fabulous to say the least & the staff is so humble, they let out kid run around the place without any hassles during entire duration of dinner. Special mention to their paneer started with a freshly ground peanut sauce with garlic, took us all by a great surprise. The soups & main courses were very pleasing as well. Overall this is one of those places you want to take your family to on any day, cuz you know you you're not going to be disappointed. Kudos to the team at The Bangalore Cafe, great job.

It was a pleasant experience visiting Bangalore cafe. The ambience was good but had a long waiting time. They have a good menu considering that it's a vegetarian only place with plenty of options. The items were delicious but quantities were rather less which was a bit disappointing! The service however was pretty disappointing, the waiters did not take orders in one go, had to ask multiple times just to get water! Even billing took over 20 mins even though half the tables were empty when we asked for the bill. It's a nice place for a date or an outing with friends but beware of the staff!! The wait time initially was also a let down we waited for 30 mins almost and felt it was a bit too much!

Vegetarians delight. Food presentation and taste were heavenly. Khao San rolled salad was impressive. Quantity could have been more compared to the price. Service needs improvement. Free valet parking only.

After a hectic day, went here for lunch, the food was good and the person serving us was pretty helpful and quick with the service. Seating is comfortable and plenty of two and four wheeler parking within the compound itself. Ordered Kashmiri Panda's Special, which was like a spicy dum aloo, nothing great. The Lasooni Tikka Masala along with lachcha paratha and butter naan was great and so was the corn and peas pulao. For beverages, fresh lime soda was decent, ordered a Japanese Coffee Mocha, which was way too sweet and nothing great. Before this I had ordered a 'let me rose' but was told it wasn't available, after sometime I saw them serving the same drink to a group of girls. Looks like special service for special tables.

Have visited this cafe couple of times. Tried many varieties of food. On my recent visit tried Pani puri, masala papad, bubble tea, Mexican sizzler, pink sauce pasta. Out of all the food tried, I feel pink sauce pasta was very bad. Overall a very good experience . One of the best vegetarian hotel to try variety of food options. A must visit if you are vegetarian

Modern/Fusion indian done right. A great place for vegetarians to try a variety of modern flavours. The shakes and the mocktails were also great. Coffee rasmalai was great, although it was more like coffee rasagolla.

Used to love this place, had a simple menu too. I was too excited to see the makeover, the menu where the minimum price took a hike from 30 to 300 - but was served... nothing! I was waiting for a friend and ordered after 10 minutes. The waiter came and took the order. After 20 minutes, he came and said the main kitchen is about to close, would you like anything else. I ordered a dessert. I confirmed if the first order is in place. He said yes. Nothing was served for another 20 minutes. The waiter said dessert is not available, I told him to please bring the other order. They served the next table who came after us - was the kitchen not closed for them? After a while, he came again and said we hadn't ordered anything. I asked him about the first order, and he said, "Kitchen is closed." What was I waiting for all this while? I asked why he didn't inform earlier, and he said, "You didn't order." Really disappointing service.

The food is really good and I loved how they served various dishes in different types of containers. I would definitely recommend the place. But please keep in mind that there can be rush on weekends so if possible visit on weekdays. I went on a Sunday and because of the huge rush of customers, they kept mistaking my order in some or other way, they were delaying the order and misplacing the order too. It gets confusing for them in rush. If you want a nice experience, try visiting on free hours. The food was definitely worth the wait tho!
