I liked my stay here. Very clean rooms with all the facilities you require. Bathrooms were clean and toiletries were provided. We booked around 2 rooms and all rooms were well maintained. They have a attached restaurant and food was good. For the price they charge they provide the facilities accordingly. Good for family. Ample parking space. Professional Staff. Ambience was very Nice. Staff is Very Decent.

A must-visit place for safe transit or your trip to Shimoga !!! ❤️🥰 Had an opportunity to visit this place during my visit to Shimoga on my way to Bangalore from Udupi. I was searching a decent hotel for family and found this via. the google. From the start of the communication with the staff for booking, it was a pleasant experience. 🎉🎊 Initially I had discussion and they provided me full details of cost and facilities that are provided in the hotel. Shared the gpay code and had paid 1 K advance. Confirmation was given. Visited the hotel and security helped with the luggage and parking inside the hotel. Reception helped with registration and a good room is provided for the stay. They also have the restaurants for pure veg and also bar with non veg. hotel. While I didn’t get a chance to eat inside the restaurant, it looks very good though. 💐💐💐 In the night while I was back to hotel after having dinner, there was lift issues I guess but it was quickly fixed. Room was really good and very decent. A great place to stay and safe for family in the center of the city. Thank you for your services and quality of hotel Aakash inn !!!🫡🙏🏻💐💐💐

Bad experience will haunt you forever.. Beware of your belongings in this restaurant. Few staff in this hotel will look for the opportunity to steal your belongings. Yesterday I lost my wallet like this. 5 minutes of my ignorance gave some one a chance to steal. Expecting honesty from these people was difficult...even the management team didn't take any effort to fix it. Will neither revisit nor recommend this place to anyone.

Place is good and breakfast is very tasty. But a caution of suggestion. Make sure the room given to you is pest free.

We extended for one more night just because of the awesome food & extremely friendly polite and courteous staff. Lohith made sure that we get everything immediately and exactly as per our needs, he was on his toes throughout our stay.. he was the star of our stay! Thank you Deepak for extra mile service for our special breakfast needs. Also, Shravan, Chirag, Ramya and Abhilash, thank you for your services.

Cleanliness 5/5, complimentary breakfast 4/5, tasty food, all days they had idly, vada, plain and masala dosa , we stayed for 6 days, had only papaya as fruit and only one day watermelon and papaya was served, don’t expect parota for breakfast

Secured hotel for stay with family and friends Cons: spotted lot of cockroaches, which may be occasional of course... Informed hotel authority and they promised to go for pest control

Staying in this Hotel since 10 days. All staff are very courteous and cooperative. Service is Excellent. Break Fast is very tasty. Service at Break fast by Mr Abhilash,Mr Deepak is too good. Other staff at Reception is also very good and cooperative. I Appreciate the staff of Room Service is very polite and excellent.

I am writing this review after staying here for 3 nights from 20 th sep to 22 nd September. Total costing 18,000 INR. We got 2 rooms with numbers 211 and 212 . These are the corner most rooms almost like a cage. There is no balcony or nothing . No view towards road side or any thing. When asked to change they did not agree, gave lame reasons that no other rooms were available. Same reason continuously for 3 days they kept on telling. The fan was not working properly , No wifi signal in the corner cage room 212. When complained the receptionist did not bother to fix or give appropriate response. Over all very disappointed stay and I would not recommend the corner cage rooms to any one. If you are getting those straight away reject !!.

Have been staying past 4 years with my business trip at Akash inn , the spice cafe staff especially Deepak , and abhi are amazing guys , they give very good hospitality and service , and food loved it , idli and vade, super , Over all experience is good

Parents of young children, please read regarding safety concerns We were on 4th floor room and since the windows were partially closed by a curtain, we were clueless that there was a window which can be opened. Our 2 yr toddler went behind the curtain while we sat on the chair next to the curtain. After a few moments I opened the curtain and was shocked to see my 2yr old STANDING ON THE WINDOW LEDGE outside just 2 steps away from the edge. See Photos! We have never been to a hotel where the window can be accessed and opened so easily by two year old children. By God's mercy I pulled my child back towards us, but I was extremely shocked to learn that the hotel management was not able to lock the window of our room or any other room! I hope they take this matter seriously and prevent such easy access to windows! We also had some other issues like sink tap initially not working and cockroaches.

Good rooms close to centre of the city. The restaurant service is really. Deepak and Abhilash are really good servers the vegetarian restaurant. The taste of the food is really good as well. Overall a good place to stay while visiting shimoga and places around shimoga. Would visit again.

Rooms are fresh with clean linens & toiletries. 24×7 hot water supply. Staff are cordial. Checkin & checkout hassel free. It's located centre of the city.

Worst stay ever in my life time. Centralized air conditioner with full of smoke smell. Restaurants won't pick the phone. If you go and order the food also they will delay like anything. Better stay other normal hotel. Not able to give negative

The way hotel is built up is very congested, good for quick business trip, but not for relax and leisure trips. Overall cleanliness is good.

Amazing place and rooms. Great food. We were exhausted by the time we drove down to Shimoga. But were refreshed when we entered the rooms. Very cozy and comfortable. Great in room dining. Very good value for money. Enough place for extra bed.

Spice cafe veg restaurant is very good. The food is delicious. Service is amazing. Worth every penny. Pepper non-veg restaurant has good ambience. Chicken dishes are must try

Pros: The room was clean, soft spoken staffs, easy check-in and check-out, ample parking space, good location. Cons: Food from cafe is expensive. Suggestion: Carry 5 liter water can from your place. Otherwise they'll charge you 32rs for one litre aquafina water.

Decent well maintained rooms. Slightly old but well kept. The staff were cordial. Good for a stop over.

We booked deluxe rooms which are worth the money we paid (2500 per room). Good quality service and their in-house restaurant provides good quality delicious food at reasonable rates. I would certainly recommend this place. Regards, Isha Polson

The room was spacious and clean. Good ambience in the lobby and very tasty veg restaurant on the ground floor. There is a nonveg restaurant on the top floor but not so great.

We performed friends Reunion in Akash Inn Banquet Hall, assembled around 50 friends, we enjoyed a lot. Hall is excellent,food is very tasty. Especially the Banquet Executive Mr R. S. Bhandari 's way of treatment is excellent. Totally it's good

Very professional services and staffs. Hotel rooms are clean and well maintained. Location of the hotel is good. Both veg n non veg restaurant available.

Good and clean rooms. Bit disappointed with very stringent checkout policies, else would be charged extra for late checkout. Staff were courteous enough to wave off the same which is really appreciated. One suggestion is to consider some buffer time period for checkout and inform customers upfront on the extra charges, rather than customer taking a surprise.
