Stayed here for 1 Day. 1. We were allotted Room #101, which was near restaurant with constant noise late through night and from early in the morning. Can not open window even because it opens towards restaurant and there is no privacy. Decent room size and a clean bathroom but some cleaning needs focus specially linens and curtains. No Tea/Coffee sachets even though there is an electronic tea maker(??) They have bungalow type rooms, but not sure whom they allot I fell for that while booking. 2. Food is decent and more than the value of money they charge. With no eateries nearby, have to solely depend on in house restaurant. 3. Location is within walking distance of Chitradurga Fort and we booked primarily for locational advantage. This is a govt. owned property so do not expect service as a 3* / 4* private hotel but they were accommodative. This is one of the best in Chitradurga Town, accessibility can be bit challenging with large vehicle as this is located in the old part of the town. Overall premise is clean and staff are friendly. Would recommend this, if purpose of visiting Chitradurga is the Fort and stay is of short duration.

The location of this hotel is good - although it's little far from the highway and deep inside the city but it's very close to the beautiful and serene Chitradurga fort. The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful, especially in the morning. Our rooms were basic but spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The AC could've been less noisy but we were too tired to be disturbed. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean with running hot water available all the time. The food was ok but could have more variety and could include some local dishes. Having a bar also would have been great. The service was smiling and helpful but could have been less slower (many of the staff were on leave). Overall, the place is simple and basic but well maintained and a good value for money.

I am surprised that a government place would be this good. Chitradurga fort is just 300 meters. And they do have good neat rooms. Really good tea and coffee. Good food!!! Overall a hood experience.

The hotel looks very well maintained and very neat. Went here for having food at their restaurant (didn't stay at the hotel). The restaurant is one of the good options to have food while visiting Chitradurga fort. They take a bit of time to prepare the food (waiter mentioned that there was only one cook) but it is pretty good and hygienic. Toilets are also available and pretty neat.

This is probably the best place to stay in Chitradurga. It definitely gives you the government building vibes (blue doors, blue stripes on pavements, noisy fans and AC, switch for one of the room's lights being outside the room), but it is surprisingly clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and there's enough space in the hotel to spend quiet evenings. The food is really good. People who used to stay in government quarters will definitely feel nostalgic:)

Very nice property. Good airconditioned rooms and dorms available right opposite the fort entrance. Decent restaurant, plenty of parking, nice garden, good views. Restaurant makes breakfast, lunch and dinner; prompt room service. Courteous and helpful staff in the property: reception, restaurant, room service.

Like any other Mayura hotels, the spacious well maintained property and the location close to the tourist place are the only bright side. The service and staff behaviors has a lot a room for improvement. Dinner options are limited to rice items, roti within limited sabji and noodles.

This is govt affiliated accommodation hence they don’t provide contact number. Non AC rooms, with limited services. Location of the hotel is very prime. We could targeted 4 big places near by with in 20 30 minutes car drive. Whatever limited services there was, were excellent !

Rooms are clean. No AC, fans are out of place and don't get any air if you sit on bed, especially in summer. Hotel is still in 1980.

We have been to the restaurant when we're around the fort. It is the nearest restaurant or hotel from the fort, hardly 300mtrs from entrance. The food was freshly made, nothing like left over from day before. That's the plus point, the manager was good to handle the orders, was not saying no to anything. Liked the attitude, he makes sure whatever the request is made fulfilled. Only thing is he had constraint of time as all the order needs to be waited for 20 to 30mins. May be that was one of the bad day. Otherwise taste wise food were good. The location is quite spacious and ample parking space for vehicles.

Just out of words to express happiness for the stay. approx 4k+ for a Double A/C - a little expensive, but worth every penny. No less than a peaceful resort. The cook/Chef makes great Quality food, & the service & people are so sweet with great hospitality. if your main purpose is to visit the fort, it is a great place to stay. Clean rooms & prompt service.

Little disappointed with the attitude of canteen staff. But understand that only 1 person manage entire canteen Location is next to durg. Rooms are very clean and neat. Staff βš•οΈ is friendly. You need to wait for food for half n hour after order but you will not be disappointed with quality of food

The Non veg food is average but beverages are good. Its very near to the Chitradurga fort, just walkable. The place is very clean and well maintained. It's a simple restaurant and has a good ambiance.

A big group of 50 of us stayed here over the long weekend. Co- ordinated with manager Mr. Manjunath about rooms/ extra beds/ buffet meals. Mr. Manjunath made sure everything worked like clock work and tailored food to our palate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are also dormitories. Location is excellent. First thing in the morning we could hike up the fort. Highly recommend a stay here - especially for big groups!

Rooms are too good with affordable price. Also very near to the historical Chitadurga Fort. But the food in this hotel is not upto the mark, they take so long to prepare and serve the food and also little overpriced. Even the taste is average.

Good, but tariff is high for the room. Room tariff Rs.2500/- is ok for that room and facilities. They are charging Rs.4000/- per day. Check in time is 1.00 PM and check out time is 11.00AM . This is also not ok, check out time should be at least 1.00PM

Nice & comfortable stay (actually it was a journey break) for one night. Very polite, well behaved and cooperative staff. Chitradurga fort is just on arm length from the hotel. Nice place to stay for family.

Everything w.r.t. this hotel was good except the food. The food alone is not great. Otherwise the rooms are nice, specious and near to fort.

Worth for money. We booked 8 bedded room for 3K+. Which is too good price. Even the location is too good for stay.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is excellent. Fort is just 200 mtr from hotel. Price is bit on higher side as compared to amenities in the room. Rooms looks like budgetary hotel. Extra bed given was torn out.

Very good. No of service people to be increased. Cook Raghu needs an assistant to give quick service to tourists

Best location, exactly opposite to the famous Chitradurga fort entry, serving delicious food and humble staff. Has beautiful landscaping with full amenities.

Since not many tourists knows about this place, the number of people coming to the restaurant is really less. Food is available only during standard timings. Food quality and taste is very good. Location is very scenic too.

Good place for a weekend get away. The hotel being at a prime location is the biggest advantage. There is limitation in the choice of food, however if adventure is your main focus then this place is the right one.

Rooms are ok, ok.. but can't expect more in a small town. Can't expect kettles in the room, TV channels did not come on. However the staff is very helpful and polite. Breakfast was part of the package, and the dosa, idli and vada were quite ok. Chutney was a bit spicy. The hotel is right opposite the fort and is an excellent birding spot too! Great place to stay in if you want to visit the fort.

This property is located far from the high way and one has to drive through narrow streets to reach the hotel. May be there are better routes, but we had tried the route suggested by Google Maps. Add to that, it was Ganapathy festival time, it was very tough to drive through the narrow stretches with two wheelers parked either side of the road. Rooms were clean and decently maintained.

Very good hotel to stay near Chitradurga fort. The rooms were quite big overlooking the garden . The service was good. The breakfast could have been better. But nothing to complain about much for the value paid. The fort is walkable .

Rooms are good and spacious. 24 hr Hot water. Complimentary breakfast not available. Other hotels are including complimentary breakfast for this amount. Thats only the disadvantage. . overall good.

This is probably the best Mayura we've booked off late - very clean and the location is the best part, right across the Chitradurga fort. For vegetarians, the restaurant serves both veg & non-veg under a single kitchen, so we had to step out for meals. Staff is helpful and responsive, rooms are large and the overall facility is decent for the price. There are no amenities for kids, so don't plan long stays (more than a day).

Right outside Chitradurga Fort and ample space for parking. Rooms are decent but not so tidy. Just barely passes cleanliness check. Washroom is good enough for one night stay

Good location, but poor room facility. Room 101 is very poorly located with window opening in front of restaurant with no privacy. To top it off, the room AC makes very loud noise. Now you can’t open windows nor turn on the AC. Would suggest to call hotel and check which room is allocated. If it is 101, stay away.
