This zoo which is nearly 1km from entrance of jogimatti forest is an very pleasant place where you can spend quality time if you have kids. They will enjoy by seeing animals. They have bear, cheetah, snake, birds, deer and many more. An cage for tiger is getting prepared hoping to see the tiger soon.

This is a small zoo situated in Chitradurga - Jogimatti road. Entry fee at main road towards zoo is 10rs per vehicle. After that before entering into zoo you will have to pay another 30rs per head as entry fees. You will get to see some peacocks, cocks, bear, birds, leopard, jackal, crocodile, turtle, deer, python etc... Area is not that well maintained and cleanliness is not that good. Whenever you visit pls carry your waste bottles and wrappers along with you. There is a small canteen where you can get chips, tea, bhajji, water bottles and soft drinks. There are some rides for under 14 kids. Kids will really enjoy it. Overall this place is okay for kids.

Adumalleshwara temple was built by Aadooru Mallappa. This is a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple premise also has a small zoo which has animals like panthers, deer, tigers, etc. The temple has an everlasting stream which runs through the Nandi's mouth, which is the main attraction here. This place is full good amusement place for kids both educative and entertaining

A good place to take kids, it is a small zoon but good enough to a town like Chitradurga. They have birds and animals. From June to October they also allow drive to Jogi Matta road which is very scenic.

A zoo in forest area. Small, kids will enjoy. Ample parking and excellent viewing arrangements. Drive to the zoo is a good experience as narrow, long, winding road gives you the right feel of going through jungle.

Did not find it worth the visit and ticket price. Ticket for adults is 50 rs and kids is 30 rs. They charge 50 rs for 4 wheeler parking and 20 rs for 2 wheeler. I didn't find it fair. It is a Zoological Garden. Calm and cool. Not so many animals only bear, dear, Blackbuck, Bluebull, Leopard and few birds. Only Bear was visible clearly leopard was placed in a cage which is very far. Blackbuck and Dear also not in a good numbers. But best part of the park is it is filled with Greenery. Huge Neelagiri trees has been grown inside that's giving extraordinary charming look for the park. Inside the Zoo there is a temple dedicated to Aadumalleshwara swamy.

Wonderful, clean and tidy zoo. Was not able to visit the sightseeing place. Need to be there at checkpoint before 11am.

This is a Animal Sanctuary. Variety of animals and birds are found in this sanctuary. Children and nature lovers really enjoy this place. There's also a reserve forest Jogimatti nearby. It is popularly known as ooty of Bayaluseeme🙂
