It is good to climb the big mountain in chitradurga fort which is behind gopalswamy temple

This is one among the temples inside the fort . It's Krishna temple and yearly once there will function in the temple as well as in the city . During tht function, there is mini wooden chariot in the temple,which will be used for procession around the temple premises . Beside the main temple of Gopala Swamy, we can find Anjaneya Temple and there is small place to sit and eat food . Below the temple there is Gopalswamy Honda (pond ) , it's now has restricted entry , since many people have drowned and died. Local guides advice not to trespass and visit that spot , it's bit dangerous. And it's believed that , the Honda usually calls and attracts people to come near it and Honda takes lives of the people every year ( just belief of people).
