Love this place. Has a good connectivity of trains. The platform is developed to most extent. Many trains ply around. To your right it connects Molakalmuru, Ballari and Guntakal and to your left is Chikkajajur, Tumkur and Bangalore. It also has wheelchair staircase. But washrooms are not available. There is decent seating arrangement and has drinking water facility.

My birth place...This city has historical background.Beore British this city is controlled by citradurga paalegaaras. After Hyderaali attack the whole city was destroyed and finally it came to the hands of british. Now chitradurga fort is considered as one of the heritage site in Karnataka. There are many places to see around chitradurga such as murugamatha, and many more. It is 3 hour journey from Banglore .

I just passed through this station several times on various journeys, and once had the occasion to observe the station as a train had stopped a long time for some reason. It is not a very big station. It has all the usual passenger amenities like clean platforms, foot overbridge, benches for sitting, a sheltered waiting space and a reservation counter. It's a very pretty station, maintained very well, very clean. The staff such as I interacted with, were very courteous. There is a refreshment room, with basic snacks tea, coffee etc
