The most beautiful and amazing waterfall karnataka have... And really appreciate the efforts by government to make a approach road till the falls . Yet some patch in between is really headque while driving.. But special trail made from parking to main fall is good... 50 rs parking fees for cars and 10rs entry fees they took.. from parking to main fall it's almost 1 to 1.5 km.. but all the hard time in travel paid off when witness the fall... 💚💙

Sathoddi Falls is a stunning natural wonder in Karnataka, India. The cascading water surrounded by lush greenery creates a picturesque setting, perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The trek to reach the falls adds to the excitement. Just be prepared for a bit of a rough road to get there, but the beauty of the falls makes it worth the journey. Don't forget your camera for some breathtaking photos!

Beautiful, scenic and mesmerising waterfalls. One of the must visit waterfalls in Karnataka. Swimming is allowed and should be very careful while walking around because of the slippery stones. The roads to reach here are very horrible but worth the visit. Parking, refreshments and washroom are available. Visitors entry closes at 5pm

Went on Diwali holiday, No crowd. Must watch waterfall. It is safe for kids also. Few stretches of road is not good, remaining road is concrete one and takes more time because of single road and lots of too much up and down road. Carry a stick on way to water falls from parking (1km walk way which is good, 10 min) to protect your baggage from monkeys. There is canteen at the entrance where they provide fresh and tasty Tea, coffee and Noodles at reasonable prices. No mobile signals. Dress change room is there.

I can say this falls is the safe & best in Karnataka to enjoy with friends & family. Located 25kms away from Yellapur. You need to make hell lot of hardwork to drive through this stretch! Roads are in pathetic condition, infact there is no road apart from the first & last few kms. If you are driving a SUV it's manageable, but hatches & sedans have to struggle!! But it's worth the pain. There is parking place, washrooms, snacks & refreshments. You need to walk for a km to reach the place. The falls is gushing admist the lush green forest. Very serene. And you can get into water. Not too tip and not that risky.Be careful with your belongings as monkeys are waiting for the right opportunity. Good to spend 2 to 3 hrs here. I request tourism development authority to take care of the roads.

A Hidden Gem,Amazing falls to enjoy and view, but the access road is huge pain. You need to trek for around 1.5km to reach the place from where you can park the vehicle. U can’t go to near in rainy season.Summer is the best time to visit the place.

Breath taking waterfalls, must visit place near Sirsi, little bit tuff to climb rocks and go near , we managed to climb few and see falls from mayb 200mts away as we had small kids. From gate to falls neat and flat walkway with full of trees, but danger is the monkeys which come chasing , it’s so scary better be in group with sticks. Forest dept should home up with innovative idea to help visitors reach the nearest spot to falls easily via a zip line or bridge. This falls is unique and there is lot of scope to improvise it as a famous tourist spot .

weekend during monsoons is bit bad idea to go but nevertheless good spot for a dip in the water and viewing waterfalls. preferably 2 wheelers is easy but any car can make it to the parking space. avoid during sundays due to huge crowd movement in and out of waterfalls throughout the day.

Its really an amazing place but the only problem is poor road condition ahead from ganesh gudi... Avoid visiting during rainy season as it would be very difficult to return back.. Visit at any time b/w 9am to 4pm during sunny days

    (Translated by Google) Satoddi Falls is another name in the list of famous waterfalls. It is not a double sight to see the water plummeting from a height. Satoddi Falls is located around 22 km away from Yellapur in the Uttara Kannada district. The narrow road, the twisty ghat, the dirt road with rocky soil but the lush greenery of nature, the journey is enjoyable.

1.Amazing falls no doubt 2.Yellapur to sathodi falls 25kms road condition is worst(there is no road literally). last 5kms if two cars sidebyside you have make lots of effort to cross. 3.Better to avoid senior persons to visit falls, if you are not able to walk for 1km & even to go near falls you have climb big rocks (Rocks are slippery)

I highly recommend it. One of the best waterfalls in Uttar Kannada district near Yallapur. With an entry fee of 20 rupees for adults and 70 rupees for Car parking, the area closes at 5 p.m. Around 5-7 kilometers of road is in terrible condition, but the rest of the route is fine.

Beautiful falls. It's absolutely refreshing. The falls close at 5pm, so plan accordingly. It's a km walk from the parking and 200 mts through the rocks but worth all the effort

Sathoddi Falls is a waterfall in India  that is formed by several unnamed streams near Kallaramane Ghat, Uttara kannada District, near Yellapur, Karnataka, and 32 km from Yellapur. It is about 15 metres (49.2 feet) tall. The stream then flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli dam, into the Kali River. It is about 25 km from Yellapur. Till Kumbral which is about 5 km from falls, the road is moderately good; the rest 5 km will be tough one as it is tiny and in pathetic condition. Road work is in progress which is expected to be completed at the end of the year 2019.

Located in Uttar Kannada region in the Yellapur district, Sathodi Waterfall is a magnificent rectangularly shaped waterfall that attracts tourists from all over the country on a regular basis. The picturesque beauty of the falls is a sight to behold, as water falls from a staggering height of 15 m and collects in a clear blue pool underneath. As you enter the jungle, you will see several trails leading to the waterfall, and you have to walk quite a bit before you can catch a glimpse of this place. There is a picnic area in front of the waterfall from where you can get a partially obstructed view of Sathodi waterfall. The trail ahead leading to the water stream of the falls is blocked by huge rocks and bushes, so it is quite impossible to get really close to it. The falls are fed by many rivers that empty into the Kallarmane Ghat in the northern Kannada region. The falls finally empty into the River Kali, through Kodasalli dam. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the Western Ghats and evergreen forests, the milky white waters of the falls offer a soothing contrast to the emerald natural beauty all around it. Additionally, the rock formations of the fall give way to a spectacular enclosure, making the entire landscape quite dreamy and dramatic. The water pool below the falls is perfectly safe for taking a cool dip, so don’t forget to carry your swimming clothes with you when you make a trip to the Sathodi waterfall

Worth visiting. We visited last week of April. We hired an Activa from dandeli to reach the falls. The road construction is going on between yellapura main road to sathodi falls which is 25km stretch one way. There's a small shop at the parking area. The most helpful thing was they sell petrol in bottles. We ran out of petrol the moment we reached the falls and understood the bike consumed a lot of petrol bcos of hill region and off-roading. The best time to visit falls when you wanna enjoy getting into water is from Feb-April as the flow is less.

The Love for waterfalls never ends. Sathodi waterfalls will make you fall in more love with the waterfalls. The road to Sathodi is slightly offroad with parking and entry ticket place available. There is small shop for snacks and tea. Entry fee is 10 and for bike parking again 10. Walk through the pathway to reach the waterfalls. Waterfalls is too aggressive during monsoon and sound it creates, pure bliss. Rocks are too slippery and be mindful of each step you take. I saw many people slipping. The monkey tries to take away anything you have, even mobile phones, so be careful. Its a wide waterfall with good waterflow. Sit and enjoy the amazing beauty of nature.

The place is BEAUTIFUL. The road is bad in the start but it eventually gets better. The walk is about 1km. We had to climb up the rocks to get to the waterfall. If you are in a completely calm mood it is super easy. The water is very cold, there are washrooms everywhere and the entire place was was clean. Was very good. But if you have bags ir your clothes, I recommend to keep rocks on it as monkeys try to steal clothes, money, food etc. Overall loved it.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Karnataka. This waterfall keeps up with the saying "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. " But here it would be BAD ROADS instead of DIFFICULT. Roads are in very bad condition and it's very sad to see such beautiful destinations are still underdeveloped. One needs to pay the entrance plus parking fees and then a short walk of 5min to see the water falls. You can take a risk climbing/ sliding through the rocks to get a closer view of the falls which I would not recommend as the water flow might increase anytime depending upon the rainfall in the upper catchment area of the waterfalls. There are incidents where people get stuck on either side of the falls and forest guards spend hours together to bring them back safely. Also the place has been neatly maintained and it's good to see such a beautiful destination very clean . Get your own food / water / snacks / medicine or any stuff that you might need as the distance to the main town is around 25kms and it takes close to an hour or more to reach back considering the bad condition roads.

Very beautiful waterfalls but lots of big boulders will be needed to climbed upon if you want to see the waterfalls from close. Water is swift. The rocky view besides the falls are stunning.

Divine and dangerous. Such a beautiful place nestled in between thick forests and its not easy to get to the heart of the waterfalls. Make sure you reach there early in the morning so that the weather is with you. And wear proper trekking / hiking shoes and clothes, if you want to go to the heart of the falls. Lots of rocks and slippery boulders to cross through. Be very careful and slow when you choose the path to take. It can turn fatal any moment. Keep that in mind. Afterall, you get to enjoy the fantastic waterfalls after your hardwork. Just like anything else in life!

It's absolutely astonishing place to visit. But the road is not proper. It'll take about an hr to just travel 20kms. Better to visit after completion of road facilities. Caution:-Don't carry any food items inside falls gate. There are monkeys which might attack you to snatch food.

The walk (concrete path) to the falls is laden with trees and undergrowth, keep an eye out for birds and butterflies. During the monsoon it can get slippery, as for all nature related destination, please wear appropriate footwear. The falls is wide and tall, best seen during the monsoon. Other times, the water can be little and underwhelming.

The entry ticket is just 10 rupees per head and no parking charges. There's a 1 km walk to gain access to the waterfalls. People can get into the falls for playing in water. The falls is open from 8 am to 5 pm

First thing, don't follow Google map for route which is showing from Kaiga route. Enquire with local people, It is 25km from Yellapur, you have to take deviation from Yellapur - Hubli road. First 17 Kms is moderate, 2kms from Ganesh gudi is very difficult we should have some expert driver, last 6 Kms is good new cement road. Overall you need 1 hour time to reach falls from Yellapur Hubli road. Falls is good, at least you can spend 3 hours near the falls.

Please note that the direction to this falls is wrong in google maps. It's better to ask the direction for Sathoddi falls near Yellapur. The correct route is to go in the direction of shivapoora hanging bridge. From shivapoora hanging bridge it takes 10-15 minutes approximately to reach Sathoddi Falls.

Sathoddi WaterFalls isin India near Yellapur, Karnataka, 30 km from Yellapur and just 80 km from hubli, It is about 15 metres (49.2 feet) tall. The stream then flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli Dam, into the Kali River. From yellapur the road is good approx 5km before the water falls the road is bit narrow, once you reach the parking area,, walk way towards waterfalls thru the jungle is amazing views, "words cannot be described" but the view is really amazing, must visit to see and live the lively moment in this forest life,,
