If you have to experience the real taste of the food, one must eat at local joints. Saw this hotel while going to Shimoga and stopped as I was very hungry. Ordered 1 masala dose, to my surprise got a Uddina Vade alongside. Taste was excellent and I didn’t want to stop here. Order a half plate of Veg Pulav, which was again mind blowing. Sambhar was too good. Have been tasting the sweet sambhar in almost all the hotels in Bangalore, but this one made me feel heavenly. If you can ignore the ambiance and concentrate on good food, pls visit this places.

One of the best dosa I ever had till now. Benne dosa has outstanding taste and u must try open dosa its extremely tasty and beyond words. Hotel doesn’t have much ambience but taste is toooooooo good. Never miss to have breakfast in this hotel when u are at Hosadurga. 😋😋😋😋😋

I tried benne masala dose and vada cost me 60rs , dose is crispy and good is taste, vada is normal you can avoid. overall good experience.

Stopped here for breakfast. Easily accessible. Price was on the higher side . Please skip the masala dose if not used to spicy food. The onion dose was burnt. Idli was soft and fluffy . Good coffee and good waiters

We ordered masala dose.. The dose was full of palm oil.. And the chattni was Disgusting smell.. After having that dose my wife & brother got food poisoning... Such a pathetic food They won't use any purified oils they use only palm oil for everything

They are putting more oil for normal masala Dosha If they put like this what about customer health I informed to owner also they didn't not told to anything no response

The dosas are very tasty... Fulfilling.. You need to have am appetite for loaded butter.. A simple crisp benne dosa..

They won't use butter to prepare dosa they use oil, only for the name sake it's benne dose. And chutney is very bad. It's not a benne dose hotel at all. Please avoid worst hotel and taste is also very bad. Not preferable

A small eatery on the Main road through Hosdurga. Nice place to stop for excellent Benne Dosa. Crispy dosa with butter, coconut chutney and potato bhaji- very tasty and filling. One tip: if not blessed with a big appetite, please order for "single dosa"...the default "full plate" of Benne Dosa settles heavily in the belly and some may not be able to polish off their plate. Other varieties of dosa, idli are also available - please ask the waiter if you wish to eat something else. Tea was average. Overall, worth visiting whenever the stomach is empty and demanding good attention.

Average to decent Small town hotel for Dosa varieties.. place will be typically crowded as it is on the highway and town centre. Butter Dosa was good in taste, crunchy but flavour of butter missing. (Not to forget Chutney and potato palya was complementing the dosa though) Stop for breakfast or any time you feel like having Dosa travelling on the way. It coud be just above 3 star exeprience for the taste and availability.

If you are travelling through tarikere to hiriyur road, you must stop and munch tasty Benne dose at "vinayaka benne dose hotel, hosadurga".. of course you cannot expect star hotel like service but it is quite a good place for quick munch

A decent place for breakfast. Benne dosa is good. Serving people are very kind and do their fullest service. Must visit if you are in hosadurga town or crossing hosadurga town. It will be coming towards left side when travelling towards bhadravathi after you cross Karnataka Bank. Happy motoring...
