This place is comfortable. The casino' s food is tasty and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant ' staff is also very helpful . the food can be improved. It should be better. The rooms are clean and cozy. The appearance of the hotel is very good and the location of the hotel is suitable.

Rooms and beds are good, pool looks nice. The "restaurant", however, is to be avoided. The choices are mediocre and the quality is disappointing. Also, I have to assume that their cevice is responsible for my nightly triple diarrhera. The (included) breakfast was just garbage.

Nice, clean and very comfortable. Not too many power outlets as it is an older building but still manageable. Food at the restaurant is pretty good too.

This was our first visit to the hotel. We were invited to a weekly gathering of expats that live in the area. There was a nice air conditioned room with a bar and bathrooms nearby available for the group. We came at lunch time and ordered food & drinks. 4 women in the group were celebrating birthdays so they brought cakes. My husband and I both had the Cubano sandwich and the Panama beer. Sorry but we liked the Cubano sandwich from The Alacala Hotel in David better. Other than that, we had a good time. Nice looking hotel. We will be back.

It’s Panama 🇵🇦 what do you expect. The service is going. To be awful. That’s just a given. No matter what. The rooms. The don’t know how to clean. That’s a given. The people don’t know customer service. 5 ⭐️ for location not in city. Not out the city. Good location. It’s pretty quiet. Now, if you’re a GRINGO and don’t like music all hrs of the day from the pool or Discoteca. This place is not for you. The free breakfast is very decent to be included in the nightly rate. This place is pretty well kept by Panamanian standards. Other customers are nice. The beers are cold, it will take you forever and ever to get a pool side beer or service. But that’s Panama. 🇵🇦 there is nothing negative about it. Shoot. A security guard there even noticed. It and he went and got us a pitcher on ice cause we was waiting so long. Mad, nope. It’s #panamanoproblem anyways. It’s a solid place….AC works great, awesome shower pressure, and hot water. Great rates too.

Pool was nice rooms were very average . Had to chance room cos ac was not good.

We stay here a lot. Service varies, especially poolside. It can be challenging to get a drink or a snack beside the pool. We misplaced a card key and they charged us $5 for the lost card at checkout. A very 3 star kind of move if you ask me. We will try another hotel the next time we are in town.

Paid extra for balcony room just to suffer the traffic noise through the night and horrible in the morning. Went to the prepaid breakfast at 930, was gestured to dirty tables next to a chafing dish with a piece of cold toast in it. No server ever approached. They offered me the same room again for 40 dollars less than I paid on priceline last night. While packing to leave we noticed that the sheets were never changed before our arrival...Very sad to see. Don't waste your money

This hotel is well located, not inside the city not outside the city: just the perfect mid point in between. The staff at the lobby and restaurants are an enormous asset to the organization. Everyone of them is eager to say good morning or good evening, helpful during the check in process, assisting with the luggage, just plain friendly and professional. The rooms are of a comfortable size, the mattress are extremely comfortable, a/c runs well, and even complimentary water bottles, added every day. We are refraining from giving them a 5 star review because the pool closes at 6pm and no one is allowed to enter until the next day. With the favorable weather of Chitré it would be a delight to be able to just enjoy a dip during the night. P.S. The Christmas dinner was delicious. The lobby was decorated exquisitely. P.S. If it is within your budget opt for a lower level, next to the pool room... Enjoy a nap on your own hammock.

While the hotel room was spacious and restaurant had a outstanding selection of food choices. It was the hotel staff that made it a superb stay. They were gracious, kind and extremely helpful as we fumbled to find the right words in Spanish.

Fun place that has an expat gathering in the bar on Thursdays. Never stayed in a room but the pool looks nice!

Rooms not to impressive but good service

American Expats have a dinner / drinks every thursday and while obviously some get loud and overbearing the staff handles it like pros and even offers 2 for 1 drink specials. The food is not 5 star , how can it be cooking for a 200 room? hotel and 3 dining areas- but I will say the fajitas are on par with Texas restaurants!

This hotel is the weekly meeting place for local expats. Good food and friendly service. More importantly, it has the space to accomodate the size of our group. The hotel has long been the considered "the best hotel" in Chitre. It is the benchmark that other hotels strive (and fail) to achieve.

Not a five star hotel. I had better food experience in 3 stars hotel. The room have very thin walls. Food is awful. They serve ice cream in plastic glasses with plastic spoon. In a five star hotel. Run!

This hotel provided outstanding attention to us as guests. From the restaurant, to the bar, room service and housekeeping they were all very welcoming and helpful when needed. The room was very comfortable, two pillows each bed and there is hot and cold water to shower. The restaurant is amazing, all the food was delicious and I definitely recommend the picadas or any seafood dish. There is also a farmacy next to the hotel and a casino.
