This is one of the best & one of my favourite hotel in Chittagong. I visited this hotel many times & I liked this hotel so much. I am a local guide of Google maps since long time & as a local guide of Google maps I think I reviewed my favourite this hotel.

They charge guests for water at breakfast buffet. That is surprising and extremely annoying. I have been to so many hotels, even low budget buffet breakfast hotel, but never been changed for water in buffet. I observed that when guest ask for water, they become surprised that it cost 40TK for small water, and they go at take the juice from the dispensers. So, good food are served, but NO WATER to swallow it down. Hotell room is good, but they often fail on keeping non smoking floor non-smoking.

It has the best swimming pool in whole Chittagong town. The pool is vast and deep enough, almost 10 feet at the deepest part. So its very comfortable and relaxing to swim here. Radisson and Peninsula also have pools but compared to this, they seem like a bathtub. Highly recommended if someone is looking for a place to swim.

They are up to the mark of a 4 star hotel as they claim. I really liked it there. Their staff were helpful, kind, and professionally informative. Their exterior seems old but the interior in particular was very calming and luxurious for a 4 star hotel. The pool water was clean and it was a pretty big swimming pool. Poolside hospitality and manners were great. They have two lifeguards waiting nearby to handle any kind of situation within the pool. Breakfast was included and the buffet menu was great. The food quality and taste was excellent. They really know how to arrange platters and sets in a uniform manner for the convenience in the dinning hall. Would go back there again if I ever visit Chittagong city.

One of the oldest hotel in chittagong and still its maintaining its elegance through out its all palace. Covering a great numbering of area with big swimming pool along with a good amount of area for parking. The reception area is still old but elegant and classy. But rooms need to be more updated. Lacks of amenities were missing there like fridge . The food was good enough .overall its feels great when you stay this type old but historic hotel

Not good in comparison to the price. Once this might be the best hotel in Chattagram but now, due to lack of operation and maintenance, in this competitive market, the hotel would certainly face a lots of challenges even to survive. In room 223, which is near to a roof, i found the locks of the window are broken, a serious security concern. Rooms upto 3rd floor are suffocating and moist. Central ac (room ac controller was not working) dosen't help at all. Bar doesn't have options. However, access is good, live performance in the bar is good.

Needs better training for the service staff, specially at Cinnamon Restaurant and on checkout desk. Efficiency and better manners from the restaurant staff would have been appreciated. Nothing to go wow about the rooms, it was adequate. There were no creamers with the complimentary tea and coffee. The washroom ventilation should have been better. There was no tub in the adjacent washroom. The view is not ideal.

Its a oldest and first three star residential hotel in chittagong. Well decorated with parking and swimming pool and gym & spa saloon facilities. But the roads are go down into water in rainy season.

The Hotel Agrabad is a Mid tier hotel with decent pricing and slightly outdated rooms, however the safety is not up to current standards. The elevator in the Hotel Agrabad states it can hold up to 8 people but I failed at carrying 5. Some people including me got stuck in the elevator for almost an hour. Just because of the low safety standards, I won't recommend it to anybody.

I went for swimming... I was not satisfied with their service, they don't even bother if you are learning or not.. Instructor sits far away.. And the main problem is the road becomes flooded during rain and tide.

Stayed here for the first time in August 2023. The hotel, one of the first major hotels to come up in Chittagong, with its long heritage, still holds on to its traditional image. Walking into the hotel, you're immediately reminded of the old days, in a good nostalgic vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth. The rooms were decent. The elevator could do with a change, it was probably faster to walk up the stairs. The breakfast was deceivingly good. By the look of the breakfast area and the food, you might think otherwise, but once we had a taste, we just couldn't stop eating. One complaint would be about the pool area. There seemed to be some groups of people, who weren't guests at the hotel, but we're just loitering around the pool, and it created a sort of uncomfortable situation for the actual hotel guests who wanted to get into the pool, so hope that the hotel management will look into this issue. But overall, I would definitely recommend this place, and with my recent service issue at Radisson, might even recommend this place over Radisson.

I had the opportunity to stay there from Nov. 6 thru 9, 2021. I like almost everything about this hotel specially their free breakfast but one of the things caught my attention that the hot water temp level is dangerously high which can cause serious injury to guests. I talked to one of the front desk clerks about this and wanted to talk to management on this but he said that manager was not available to talk.

The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the bus stop. It took 100tk for me to get there with a CNG. The hotel is marvelous. It has an aesthetic atmosphere which I loved the most. An old hotel but keeps the interior and service very up to the mark. But I can't give it five rather i said they are a four star hotel. At first they denied that they have no booking through Agoda later they got me a room after i e-mailed agoda about this. But other service is good

Facilities are not so bad but shower water pressure is too low and inconvenient for taking shower and very stressful. Hotel was informed of the fact but they do not have intension to upgrade.

I was serpriced after entering into the room. I did not expect modern facility in this old premise. They are maintaining everything perfectly though we have found our 1st given room AC was not working but whike jotify it, they have immediately changed the room. For business or family trip, it should be one of best choice. Their food also good but could not avail other services due to rush business trip. But I must say, if one person chose this place to stay, it will be really money worthy.
