Mermaid cafe is a beautifully decorated outdoor restaurant near sugondha beach point. We tried their thai soup which was refreshing. The staff are very friendly, they gave us a bouquet of flowers from their garden as a gift. The ambience is eco friendly. The only bad thing about the cafe is its location, the approach road is not good.price is a bit high.

Their foods are always best.. But it is sad for me that Lasagna is no more in the menu.... Anyways enjoyed the foods... highly recommend..

You can go there but please do not visit with the idea/expectation that you will find something interesting something extraordinary. You may get shocked to see the price of the food and drinks they serve. All are unnecessarily costly. For example a lemonade drink with a slice of lemon and ice would cost 300tk (around 2.5$) which is in any consideration very high. I assume for this reason they attract limited number of guests nowadays.

This place is attractive. The beauty and decoration of this place is totally satisfying. I ordered a BBQ pizza and it took little time to serve the pizza which is a good point. The taste of BBQ pizza is so delicious and tempting that I wanted to order the same again but due to budget constraints I couldn't order more. It is recommended to visit this place on weekdays and during daytime. Otherwise you might find lots of tourists and mosquitos respectively.🤣😅

Visited the Café after 10 years and still find the décor/atmosphere awesome, specially at night. But disappointed with the food, took Pua fish which was average and Grilled Red Snapper was good so as sea food appetizer platter, but fried rice was not tasty at all which ruined the taste of other dish.

A very serene restaurant located at the Sugandha Beach of Cox's Bazaar. The ambience of the restaurant is simply mind-blowing. The overall setting is pretty natural. But the food prices are really high. They serve a huge range of foods. I tries see food pizza and sea food platter. Food was fresh and taste was really good. Mermaid Cafe is a sister concern of Mermaid Resorts, I have visited the Cox's Bazar one, another one is located on Marine Drive Road. We have visited this place during evening, liked their ambience as always and the cafe was quite spacious. We have ordered TEA and it was good. I would recommend this cafe to give it a try.

Amazingly they are becoming worse day by day. Can't be compared with mermaid beach though both's quality supposed to be similar. It was before btw. This evening we ordered watermelon juice and received water-that never happened before. And the nutella banana crape served with lemon decoration- weird combination like typical roadside cox's bazar food.

Environment was good 👍. But food quality was not good enough 😕. Me and my wife both of us really very disappointed 😔

We ordered the seafood platter, and the portion was disappointingly small for the price. I'm really surprised and upset about it. I've been here before and had the same platter, but this time it seemed like it was made without much care. Mosquitoes were quite annoying, but I understand it's a common issue in Cox's Bazar. The location is nice, but I won't return unless the portion size improves.

If you are looking for international standard food this is the right place! It has 5 star quality food and a very diverse menu of seafood chicken beef. They have several starters pasta pizza grill and rice dishes. Each and every one is delicious. Keeping up with the beach vibe the environment is very natural. Mostly bamboo furniture and plants all around. Kids have a play area and a tree house plus two swings as a bonus. Staff are very well behaved and have in-depth knowledge about the menu. Their drinks are all freshly made. Totally worth it.

I tried garlic shrimp,french fry,lemon butter crepes and few drinks.I had stomachache next morning after trying the shrimp. Their food portion is really low which I understand but the taste should be better considering their good atmosphere.Since it's a outdoor atmosphere,they still couldn't get rid of mosquitoes.
