Yet another token of the beauty of the Rangamati Hill District. It's one of the top local attractions. If you are looking to bathing in the waterfall, please come during monsoon (July-August). Otherwise its hot and dry. Regardless of the season, The Shuvolong Waterfall is truly a stunning marvel of nature.

Shuvolong Waterfalls is located in Balukhali Union of Barkal Upazila in Rangamati District. The distance from Rangamati Sadar to Shuvlong Jharna is only 25 km. The clear water of this fountain makes the tourists tremble with a different feelings. The beauty of the way to see the Shuvolong Waterfalls can make you emotional. The immense beauty of Rangamati will be seen while walking along the waterways along the winding path of the hills. The lakes, the waterfalls, the vast blue skies, the hills and above all the simple, simple life of the indigenous people will fascinate you. Wherever you look here, you will see only the mountains and the water of Kaptai Lake. The whole of the huge Kaptai Lake seems to be held by the mountains with both hands. The clouds of the sky and its bluish glow play in the water of the lake, lost behind the mountains in the distance, as if to peek again, how is the lake.

Biggest waterfall in Rangamati district. This waterfall is situated in a island which is surrounded by Kaptai Lake. So people have to go there by boat. Shublong Waterfall is very beautiful. Water is very cold. Without the rainy season you can't enjoy this place. In the rainy season water is very much. Everyone should visit this place.

Shubolang Jharna is a high mountain spring with natural beauty in Bangladesh. It is a water spring located in the basin of Karnaphuli river near Kaptai Lake at Chilardak of No. 1 Subhlong Union under Barkal Upazila of Greater Rangamati District. This fountain can be seen before going to Shublong Bazar by sea. Thousands of tourists gather here every year during the monsoon season. There are some establishments of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation and restaurants in Shublong Jharna. Visitors have to collect tickets from the ticket counter to enter the fountain.

Once, it was one of the famous waterfalls in Rangamati. But this fall's become less waterfalls at present. There is a entry fee for Tk.20 each person's. It has lost its beauty and tourist attractions.

One of the biggest waterfalls in Bangladesh. The best time to visit here is the rainy season. Because it falls from at least 300 feet above in the rainy season. In winter it will disappoint you if you are a waterfalls lover. You need to buy tickets, each 20tk. The only way to reach here is by boat. You can hire it from rangamati city. Usually, they charged around 2000 tk for covering some viewpoint in rangamati. Visit the place, waterfalls and the karnafuli river will give you their best.

Our Shuvlong Jharna is a very beautiful and philosophical place in Rangamati district. Due to the lack of water for most of the year, nature can appear in its own form but cannot blossom. But the rest of the time is a very beautiful place. Your first impression will touch the mind. I have taken pictures of two times. The river Karnafuli flows beside it. If you have enough time, you can come here and go for a walk. I hope you do not despair. And if you need any help you can tell me, I will try hard enough to help. My information is given in the description of the profile. Thanks for wasting your precious time reading my review. 🥰

(Translated by Google) Pretty beautiful. However, it is difficult to say that the management is bad. (Original) বেশ সুন্দর। তবে ব্যবস্থাপনা খারাপ বলে ওঠা নামা কষ্টকর।

Didn’t find water due to shiny Sun for couple of days. People who find water at Shuvolong Waterfalls are really very lucky. If it rains or a rainy season then this place is a must try, otherwise I wont visit this place again. People who visits Rangamati for the first time they can visit Shuvolong once for spot cover and if they are lucky enough they can get water too.

It is a rare opportunity to visit waterfalls in Bangladesh. It is one of the most viewed waterfalls in the area. It is not that big. You may become disappointed after watching it. It looks better in rainy seasons. In other seasons it becomes tiny. The water falls from quite high hill. Water is very cool and tases good. If you want to visit the place, get prepared to wet.

Shuvolong Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Rangamati. The only available path to reach the waterfall is through the lake. People visit there by boat. It is a famous place with tourists for the waterfall, high hills, and the nature surrounding it offers.

  • 5/5 Rajan S. 9 months ago on Google
I think we came in the wrong timing. Even the big waterfall looks very dry and doesn't have much water. They charge 20tk per person in gate. You can't swim there and need a boat to reach that place.

We visited in winter season. We didn’t saw the too much water in the waterfall. It’s a beautiful spot .

  • 5/5 Irfan 1 year ago on Google
Shublong waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls. Only see water in the rainy season. There is a small park with lots of flower plants and a bridge. Need to buy an entry ticket for visiting this place

  • 3/5 Gunasegeran S. 1 year ago on Google
There is no waterfalll in the winter season. Just a piece of rockface with dripping water. However to support Bangladeshi Tourism you must stop here, take some pictures and walk a little.

Though water flow is minimal, we bathe here with satisfaction. It's an amazing experience. The transport is only a boat, no road connection is available here. Nature will pleasure you.

If you come to Rangamati then you must visit Shublong Jharna and Chhota Shublong Jharna. You have to hire a boat and travel to Shublong Jharna. When going to the shower, you must take the necessary clothes for bathing. On the way to Shublong Jharna, you will be mesmerized by the magnificent scenery and rediscover yourself in the midst of nature.

Aslam, it was good to see you can also come to see, the communication system is good. The usage of local people is good. Knowing your own country is a religious duty. So I think you need to go out sometimes to know your own country. Nature always draws people closer but people don't want to understand it.

Shuvolong is one of the oldest of waterfalls in Bangladesh. It's height is around 130-140 feet and located in Rangamati, a district in the hill tracts of Chittagong. You can easily go to Shuvolong from Rangamati. All you need is to take a boat from rangamati and then go there. The nature of the surrounding is really heavenly and breathtaking. However, over the period of time shuvolong has lost its charm due to proper maintenance and lack of water. Nonetheless it still looks gorgeous during the monsoon season, when it rains.

Nice waterfall that you can visit from Rangamati city. Only means of transport is boat and be sure to book for up-down trip. To see its full beauty, make sure to plan during wet season.
