Beautiful waterfall. You have to trekk over the Debota hill to reach the waterfall. It will take 2-4 hours to reach the waterfall from Jinna para. If you want to go the waterfall please put on your trekking shoes. The trail is dangerous in rainy season. Vellakhum is another beautiful place near Amiakhum waterfall.

Amiakhum is one of the most inaccessible places in Bangladesh. You have to go to Amiyakhum via Thanchi, 6 km away from Bandarban. There are two ways to reach Amiyakhum from Thanchi. One: Thanchi> Remakri> Padmajhiri> Thuisapara> Devtapahar> Amiyakhum Two: Thanchi> Remakri> Nafakhum> Thuisapara> Devtapahar> Amiyakhum The first method is to trek to Padmajhiri for about 7/8 hours. Sometimes you may have to trek at night. The second way is to reach Thuisapara by boat from Remkri and by trekking in about 2 hours. Photo: Ajmeree Jahan

Amiakhum Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bangladesh and an excellent place to travel. Every traveler should have a tour plan to visit this beautiful tourism spot of Bandarban at least once and then they will feel to visit that travel spot again and again. Amiyakhum is situated at a remote area called Tindu of Thanchi upazilla under Bandarban Hill District in Bangladesh. It’s near to Bangladesh Myanmar Border. This waterfall is situated in one of the most remote areas in Bandarban. How to go Travel from Bandarban to Thanchi: After reaching Bandarban you have to go to Thanchi upazilla by bus from Bandarban. To reach Amiakum waterfall you have to make a trip from Bandarban to thanchi by “Chander Gari” (public jeep) or a private vehicle. The distance between Bandarban to Thanchi is about 79 km. Amiakum: Route: Bandorban>thanchi>Bording para>Simplampi para >Thandiy para >Bollong Para > sat bahikum>Nakiongmuk>Amiakum waterfall Travel from Thanchi to Remakri: You need to hire a Tour guide. You must enter your full name, address and contact number at the Army camp of Remakri, Bandarban before hiring a tour guide. There is a tour guide committee and that tour guide committee will select an experienced tour guide for you. This tour guide will stay for 2 days with you during the journey to reach the particular tour spot till you come back to Remakri. For the first day the tour guide will charge 600/= Taka (BDT) and for the second day onwards the tour guide will charge 500/= Taka (BDT) for each day (exclude his food and accommodation). You need to hire a Boat for the adventurous journey of Thanchi to Remakri. You have to hire an engine boat to reach Remakri from Thanchi, because there is no rowing or paddle boat there. Boat fare is around 4000-4500/Taka- for an up-down journey but the boatmen may ask for more. So you should bargain with them. Boat journey will take around 4(four) hours to travel from Thanchi to Remakri. This journey is very challenging and tough, especially if you are scared of water and high tide. Because in rainy season the tides of Sangu River are very heavy and it is extremely dangerous journey especially at the place of “Boro Pathor”. In the area of Boro Pathor there are big rocks scattered in the Sangu River and strong tides are there in the Sangu River as well. But the sceneries of both sides of Sangu River are spectacular. You should take lunch at Remakri. There are some good restaurants in Remakri and lunch may cost around BDT 120 Taka per person. Route plan from Nafakhum to Amiakhum: It’s a long trail. You have to walk most of the path. The trek started from Thanchi, then Boarding para and then Simplampi para. From Simplampi Para you can summit Tajindong. After reaching Simplampi Para you have to climb down to Thandui Para. You have to pass one more hill to reach Bollong para. To see Amiakum you have to start journey early in morning from Bollong para. On the way you can also see Sat bhaikum>Nakion Muk. It’s a giripoth (water trail) and one of the most beautiful trails at Bandarban. From Nakion Muk you have to make a Bamboo Raft to reach Amiakum. Return journey from Nafakhum to Remakri: After visiting the fabulous water fall and tour spots of Nafakhum you can start your return journey to Remakri from Nafakhum between 10:00am to 12.30pm. There is another nice waterfall to visit in Remakri known as “RemakriKhum”. Travel back to Thanchi from Remakri: You should take lunch at Remakri before coming back to Thanchi. If you start the boat journey at 2:30pm you will reach Thanchi at around 4:30 pm that is within 2 hours. It will take less time to return to Thanchi from Remakri, because the boat moves along with the tide. Travel back to Bandarban from Thanchi: You have to stay at Thanchi, because after 2:30pm there is no bus service to Bandarban. You should start your journey for Bandarban on the next morning at 7:00am (First bus). It will take around 4-4.5 hours and you are likely to reach Bandarban at 11:30am. Therefore, you should explore Thanchi for the rest of that day.

Amiyakhum is a waterfall in Bangladesh. Khum means waterfall in Marma language. The hilly Sangu river has created many small waterfalls along its course, the most notable of which is Amiyakhum. Khum means where the water never completely dries up. Spring water will dry but not Khumer.

    (Translated by Google) Great .... 6 Beautiful to cover the mind .... 6 But I can't wait to tell you that it is difficult to go .... One has to cross a huge hill called Devta Pahar .... which is about 45-50 feet high .... And the slope is more .... However, in many places, there are places where you can keep your feet in any position The biggest thing is that it takes an hour and a half to get up the hill, and it takes 40-45 minutes to get down In addition to this, you have to cross 3-4 more hills .... 😝😝 It is no less difficult to cross them .... 🥴🥴 Although there is nothing like the god mountain .... How hard it is to get close to a beautiful natural environment .... However, after watching Khum Gula, the rest of the trouble does not fall on Gula ..... 6 (Original)

review Amiakhum fall is an indigenous natural asset which is blessed with very nice natural views, fresh water fall and also with sedimentary rock. But Debota hill trekking places are very risky in dry season. In rainy season we should try to avoid such places. Even on dry season u can enjoy the color of water but in rainy season over flow of water carry sediments and the special green color disappears. November to January are perfect time to hang out this adventurous places. when u are planning about to hang out there, please keep somethings on your mind, - get two bottles of fresh water and some dry food - first aid box - use trekking shoes while trekking hills or slippery places - don't be over-excited, don't behave like local people, respect local indigenous people - for taking photograph don't take risk at all - don't drink falls water without getting sure that its drinkable - don't dump any wastes on that protected areas - help other who are not fit enough to trekk overall, this place is very nice.. have nice journey.. u will love it 😎😎✌

The real beauty of Amiakhum can not be captured in pictures. To explore the beauty you have to climb down the mighty “Debota pahar” and it’s one hell of experience.

It is one of the beautiful waterfalls in bangladesh. But going there is not an easy task. You have to be brave to climb down the Debota Hill. Debota hill is almost a straight hill. In some places its 90 degree slope. After getting down from the hill you will see the mighty waterfall Amiakhum. Its very deep so dont jump if you are not a good swimmer. When you jump you will feel the freshness of water. Best time to visit is November to March. Some person says rainy seaaon is good, but I would say never. You will not see the fresh water if you visit on rainy season.

    (Translated by Google) 3 days off the network Amiyakhum from Barisal # Watch the weather faircast. Rainy or cloudy days must be left out. #Bash is a valuable thing that you can understand while walking on the waterfalls and mountains, so tell the guide to add bash. # If you don't know how to swim, it is better not to go before December. # You have to suffer and go with this humanity. # Take all necessary medicines including painkillers. # Wear shoes that will not be a problem when wet. # The less clothes you take, the better because you have to walk far. # When climbing mountains, take food that will provide water and energy. # Don't ruin the mountain environment by throwing plastic. # If you watch a video on YouTube, the blogger will have to swear. My friends who don't know how to swim have rescued a blogger by gossiping # There is nothing to fear, if the body is right and the mind is strong, you can go easily. Cost: We had a team of 10 people 1. Bus fare from Dhaka to Bandarban is Tk. 620 per person. 2. Thanchi Chad's car from Bandarban is 3000 rupees. 3. Two trawlers go-come + guide 15000 rupees. We had already dealt with the guide. In my opinion, if you go to Thanchi and make a deal, the cost will be reduced except for holidays. 4. 150 rupees per person in the hill cottages and depends on the food menu. 5. From Thanchi to Bandarban Chad car 2500 rupees. . Bus fare from Bandarban to Dhaka is Tk. 620 per person. . The cost of food will depend on the hotel and the menu. # It cost us about 4800 rupees per person. (Without coming and going from Barisal to Dhaka) If you want to go from Barisal, it is better to go to Dhaka. Our journey started on the night of November 3. Friends had come to Dhaka the day before and were resting. I left for Bandarban from Dhaka by Shyamoli Paribahan at 10:45 pm. Jhum rain from 3 o'clock at night, what happens if the fortune is bad. I had breakfast in the morning, but the rain did not stop. We were a team of 10 people, so we drove to Thanchi. As it was raining, there were less passengers and in the middle of the week, so Mama agreed to pay 3,000 rupees. The rent may be higher on holidays. Chad's car was ruined by the rain. Thanchi got down to take police permission + BGB permission. The guide was already there, but it was a waste of time to buy ropes, shoes, and other necessities. Extra clothes have to be left in one store because the less the bag weighs, the better. I rented lunch and a live jacket and went to the boat. Due to the rain, the ground was slippery, so before going to the boat, a friend Dhapas6. I sent the rest to buy plastic shoes. When the boat started moving, it could be said that there was no rain. But there was a lot of water in the river so there was more fear and more fun. Mountains on both sides and Sangu aha in the middle I forgot all the troubles of getting wet in the rain. I was scared because there were so many currents. We went to Remakri and had lunch (I didn't ruin the environment with plastic). As there was more water, we went to the boat a little further. This path is to be walked in winter. Get off the boat and start walking. After 20-25 minutes I had to face the first and great difficulty. Must cross the river. There is not much water so there is no place for 3 people to swim. It took a long time to tie the rope. Guide Mama helped a lot. Even those who do not know how to swim have to eat Himsim. They understand what adventure is all about. After crossing the river and walking some distance, Nafakum waterfall and Nafakum can be reached. The evening came down to be fascinated by the amazing beauty. Time is short so I took a break to go to Gina. After a while the darkness came down and more danger started. As I did not take the torch light, I started walking with the light of the mobile. On the way, I was able to rest once more due to the natural call of a friend. Sometimes with knee water, sometimes with waist water, I crossed the slippery road and river 4 times and went to Gina Para at 8:30 pm The second time I crossed the river, there was a good danger. The two friends played Chubni because the guide Mama took it easy. Gina decided to stay the night. If I had the strength, I would have been able to spit. Walking for such a long time is no longer a hobby. Scaffolding of tribal houses is available to stay there. We all stayed in one big room. I said the accommodation is not good and the toilet is not in good condition. In fact, it is better not to expect anything better from it inside the mountains. They will also cook dinner, but the menu is limited. The body was tired so sleep was good. After breakfast in the morning I left for Amiyakhum at 7:30. After walking for 30 minutes, seeing the high road, 3 people started walking backwards. After crossing the Devta hill with great difficulty, 6 of us went to Amiyakhum. It took about 2.5 hours to go. Feelings can never be understood. After spending some time and turning the raft, I went to Gina Para again at around 1 pm (Original)

Couples of year back I had the chance to visit one of the most beautiful place of Bandarban named Amiakhum. The route is not popular to the common tourist. Usually only trackers are interested to visit this place. If you had energy and if you had 3 days in your hand with a small team including at least 4 people, you can plan for Amiakhum. But you need to take permission from the Boarder Guard or BGD or Bangladeshi Army. So far I know foreigners have no authority to visit this place. The simplest way to visit this place is Bangladesh > Dhaka > Bandarban > Thanchi > Remakri > Nafakhum > Zinnah Para > Thuisa Para > Amiakhum. The time to visit this place is October. March to September are very tough to get permission considering the risk of the route. As the travellers have to walk and climd mountains, it is wise to avoid rainy season. This place has the unique beauty with mountain and falls. Basically, Amiakhum is a falls surrounding by the rock mountains. If you wish to hear the nature please visit this brutal beauty. Moreover, as a bonus you can have the excellent beauty on your way. Who never visit this place can't imagine how beautiful our Bangladesh is.

Amiakhum Water Fall is a very known place for all who are hiking in Bandorban Hill Area. I also see lot of video from youtube and gather lot of information to visit the place. And last 23-12-2019 to 25-12-2019 we (10 person) visit the place and really great experience for me and our team member. If you want to visit Amiakum then you need to cross the DABOTA Pahar which is the most risky part to downhill from the pick of the Dabota Pahar to Amiakum . So, if you think to visit the place then please see the instruction who are expert for hiking in Bangladesh. I am not expert in hiking but I can say please take all necessary information and set your mind fast and when you take downhill then not see too far form your position. I really like the place and also hope you. Thanks God to give the beauty in our country.

(Translated by Google) Amiyakhum is located in a remote place called Nakshiyang in Thanchi upazila of Bandarban. Amhiyakhum Falls near the Bangladesh-Myanmar border is seen as the paradise of Bengal. According to some, it is the most beautiful waterfall in Bangladesh. The stream is coming down with great speed through the mountains surrounded by rocks and greenery. Spreading milky white foam, it is flowing on the body of the stone. The rocky attic next door is getting wet in an instant. With the continuous fall of the water and the sound waves of the flow. Leaving the locality and seeing such a scene in the middle of a deep hill, once you see it, it will stay in your mind forever. Nature is sitting in a basket of such infinite beauty in our green Bengal - Bandarban. (Translated by Google) Impossibly beautiful place. But the road to go is terrible. Take at least 3 days. And for about 20-22 hours you will come prepared to walk along the mountains, rivers and streams. Even if it is a lot of trouble, come here and forget everything.
