It is the main entrance of Sitakunda Eco Park Gate. One has to buy ticket here. Tickets are not so costly but reasonable. One can enter into the Park on foot or by car( If one brings one private car). Young people can go the top of the hill in foot but old men or women or children wont be able to reach there on foot rather they need car to climb up the hill. One can see 'Sohosro Dara Jorna' and Soptodara Jorna' there. The waterfalls are really alluring and enchanting.

    # Good for a family trip. # Not recommended if you don't have a personal vehicle. # No smoking inside, except in the designated tea stalls # Female washroom & prayer room available # Excellent for hikers if you want to hike to Chandranath Temple from here, 6km hike to 1,300 ft elevation. Just remember to hike on the right side of the road to avoid oncoming cars downhill. But don't do it if you are not confident. @ Please carry your garbage bag and don't pollute the environment @

Sitakundu Eco Park is located in a beautiful environment surrounded by mountains, next to the Dhaka Chittagong highway, about 50 kilometers from Chittagong city. The entrance fee at the gate is 50 taka. There is a wonderful waterfall inside, enter the gate and pay 500 taka for CNG and travel for 15 minutes to reach the waterfall. It takes about 250 steps to reach the waterfall. Adventure loving people can visit there.

Beautiful place....Sitakunda is a green land of amazing natural beauty. This area is not only a big pilgrimage place for Hindus but also a very good place to visit. Chandranath hills to the east of Sitakunda and vast sea to the west. Travelers who love nature and want to enjoy nature up close must come to Sitakunda. There are many fountains here but only one fountain can be seen on the way to Chandranath hill, there is another fountain near Sita temple but it has dried up, other fountains are located in deep forest.

Sitakunda or Sitakunda City is an administrative center and sole municipality of Sitakunda Upazila in Chittagong District, located in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. Sitakunda is famous for Chandranath temple and Hindu temples. There is a hot spring 5 km north of the town. It was very nice to travel here. You can come if you want. But you have to go up through many stairs. The fun will be just as good when you climb up. 💛⭐❤️‍🔥

Shitakundo Eco Park is one of my most cherished memories. We suddenly made plans and went for a one day tour. It is the best place for it. Enjoyed both the beauty of hills and waterfalls along with the mesmerising beuty of a sea beach. The most interesting part about this tour was that we stayed on the Guliyakhali Sea Beach during high tide. And it was one of the most thrilling experience. Mostly it was a budget friendly tour. I would suggest for new travellers who have very less time for travelling to check this place out. You can cover most of the basic things within two days, one day for Chandranath Pahar and one day for eco park and near by sea beaches. Shitakundo has multiple sea beaches each with its own unique attributes. Make a group of five to ten for better distribution of tour budget and less cost.

It's heartwarming to indulge into the serenity of this place with such greenery and bird chirping. Two eye soothing waterfalls Shuptodhara and Shohosrodhara are situated here. You will find some spot from where you can see the bay of bengal and Swandwip island far away. Let me suggest you something - just go there in a light rainyday. Thank me later. Though there are leeches in wet environment. They are usually harmless but since it feels disgusting when you encounter one, you should take proper clothing precaution with shocks and track shoe.

My experience is very bad. There is nothing to see except two fountains. However, in the winter season, the water is not seen to go down with the shower. However, the two fountains are actually beautiful to look at. But from the top of the hill spreads the fascination of distant beauty.

Quite a nice place for tracking and hiking. Supto and Shohosro two waterfalls inside requires a lot, I mean a lot of hard hiking. But it was really nice and clean place. It was the visitors who littered everywhere tho. 30 taka per person ticket and food and beverages were all 5 taka extra. Bring your own food if you want to be prepared. Bring extra cloths and towel. The two waterfalls and some points are main attraction there. Would love to go there again.

The Sitakunda Botanical Garden and Eco-park was established, under a five-year (2000–2004) development project, as a means to enrich and conserve biodiversity, and develop ecotourism facilities in the region. This study explores to what extent the authority achieves these objectives and the impacts of the park on adjacent villagers. More specifically, it highlights park-people relationships and people dependency on park resources. Findings indicate that, as the project was implemented, the area was enriched, with natural regeneration, new plantations and infrastructure development. It has become a new destination for visitors, and nature-based tourism. Tourism provides revenue to the park authority and income to local people. Even though the park is a good instrument for biodiversity conservation, ignoring the dependence of local people on park resources created conflicts between local communities and the park authority. Prohibition on the extraction of forest products from the park, and restriction on use of park roads to enter adjacent forests make the livelihoods of surrounding villagers vulnerable. The park establishment has created some job opportunities, but local people feel that these are inadequate. Suggestions are made to overcome the existing conflicts and to develop an eco-friendly park which would conserve biodiversity and, at the same time, benefit local communities.

what a beautiful place.you must visit shuptadhara waterfall in order to fullfil your eco park tour. But becarefull about leeches.they are everywhere.you should bring the water from outside because everything costs twice than the original price up in the hill.and dont take cng autorikshaw if you are able to walk yourself.just walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. Rainy time is the best time for visit as it blooms its marvelous greenish beauty.the waterfall is more beautiful then rains heavily, but be cautious, you should not go under the fall.it hides cavity beneath its water,so watch your steps.dont forget to bring extra clothes and towel with you.

Spine of the Eco Park, pine-tree lined pathway designed for the visitors to enjoy the beauty of the water bodies such as the pond that defines the park. A thematic zone dedicated to the Bengal delicacy of fruits, to showcase the bountiful nature of this part of earth and to encourage nature learning through identification of fruit bearing trees. There are about twenty food courts for refreshment in front of the park entrance. A flower lover's zone, these two areas will have varieties of both garden and wild flowers to enjoy.
