Beautiful place. Calm and clean environment. Whenever you go please try to keep silence there because it’s a religious place for Buddhist. So, follow the rules and most important thing is please try to wear thin clothes as there is too much temperature.

the place is beautiful in deed. But, here you need to have enough energy to ride 100 stair by foot. It takes extra energy. This not not a tourist spot, its a holy place for buddist. They will not allow anyone wearing half pant. So, if you want to visit there, be careful about dress code.

The Bandaban Golden Temple belongs to the Theravada Buddhism order, which is practiced by the Marma indigenous people, a dominant ethnic group of Bandarban. It was built in 2000 in Arakanese architecture, an adoption of the South East Asia style.

Bandarban Golden Temple is a popular tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is situated at Balaghata in Bandarban. It was built in 21st century(2000) by the Buddhist community of South Asia. A Burma’s architect drew the design of the gorgeous Buddhist temple. Till now, it is the largest Buddhist temple of Bangladesh. The Temple is designed with two colour, golden and maroon. Besides the temple, there is a residential home in where little Buddhist live and practice Buddhism. As the place is on the hill, you need to be strong enough to climb there. The place is a holy place. As a responsible citizen/tourist, we should follow the restrictions of the authority with due respect. Happy travelling!🖤

The temple which is mostly familiar as The Golden Temple to everyone is located at the top of the hill at Bandarban-Rangamati highway approximately 5 km away from Bandarban city. The natural view and densely bushes around the area makes so quite and beautiful. Currently, the temple is closed for visitors due to outbreak of Covid-19. Only those who are worshippers can go to Temple.

Visiting this Buddhist temple is definitely worth it. Fairly close to the city. Keep in mind that this is a sacred Buddhist place and it is considered very rude if you make unnecessary noises, so do remain as quiet as possible. Ticket is pretty cheap too (Tk. 50). The view from the temple outside is stunning!

This place is really beautiful. The temple itself is a sign of beautiful architecture. The golden color of the temple is a peace of eye. There is a big bell that is heavy. The view of surroundings from the temple is awesome. You can never forget the time spent here. There are some old sculptures which represents different life stages of Buddha.

Temple is closed for general public on the purpose of internal development. Authority did not announce a date of re-opening. But you can visit that place from a close door, which actually not meaningful. Hope you will wait until reopen the temple to enjoy the entire beauty.

Magnificent temple I have ever seen in Bangladesh. Long time ago, there was stairs to climb to reach the Temple from the ground. Now, it has street to drive to the main gate of the temple. From the gate you have to buy ticket. If you are wearing shorts then you have to borrow a clothe from the ticket counter to cover your body. It’s an aesthetic religious place, so keep it clean.

Unfortunately, this temple is only open for Buddhists with id card. They don't allow any other religious people to visit, not even the hindus. So disappointed. I was here from a very far place just to visit this temple but they don't care about that. 😞😞😞😞
