Sandwip is an island gifted with fertility. This beach is Not the beach you would expect usually. It's actually the bank of Meghna River. Great spot for camping and picnic. I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place at noon. It is a must visit place if you find yourself in Sandwip. Taxi fares a bit high as they run on octane.

Sandwip is at the estuary of the Meghna River on the Bay of Bengal. This Island itself 3000 years old and was said to have been a part of the Samatata realm. The accent of the native people bit similar to the Noahkhali accent. Sandwip is an incredibly fertile island that has been producing melons, mangos, pineapples, grab, jam and coconut for a long time. Sandwip is a gift from nature where you can find many places to camping. But one thing I have to object to is they are cutting down trees continuously to run the Brick Field which is very hazardous for Climate.

(Translated by Google) Apurba Island Sandwip The shortest time to reach the island from Dhaka is Sandwip. But the least number of people go to visit this island. But I have seldom seen such hospitable good people as the people of this island. In the coming winter, everyone was invited to visit Sandwip. The crocodiles of Sitakunda will board the last bus of the night from Dhaka and get off at dawn. You can rent ten rupees from Kumira or walk to Ghatghar. Sandwip in twenty minutes by speedboat from there. Sandwip Beach is a scenic coastal area located on the island of Sandwip in Bangladesh. Sandwip Island is situated in the Bay of Bengal and is known for its natural beauty, tranquil beaches, and unique cultural heritage. The island can be reached by boat from the city of Chittagong. The beach stretches along the coastline of Sandwip Island, offering visitors a serene and picturesque setting to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the sea. The golden sands, clear blue waters, and gentle waves make it an inviting destination for both locals and tourists seeking relaxation and leisure activities. Sandwip Island itself has historical significance, with remnants of ancient civilizations and historical landmarks scattered across its landscape. The island is also home to diverse communities, each contributing to its cultural mosaic. Visitors can experience local traditions, cuisine, and way of life while exploring the island. While Sandwip Beach may not be as well-known as some other coastal destinations in Bangladesh, its charm lies in its untouched and peaceful ambiance. It offers a quieter escape from the bustling mainland and a chance to connect with nature in a serene environment. If you're considering a visit to Sandwip Beach, it's a good idea to check for any updates or travel advisories, as conditions and access might change over time.

It is actually not a beach. It is a large open space along the bay of Bengal. It's beauty cannot be seen by eyes, rather it can be seen only by the inner-eye.

You can't see anything here unless you feel it. If you just want to see please don't come here. If you can feel, this is the place for you.

Though it is not a sandy beach, it is attractive for it's scenic beauty. Thete is a newly formed green part of the island touched the horizon. That means green and blue meets together. Palm and coconut trees are thewitness of harsh weather of last few decades and describing how the island has been eroded over time.Local people are good and friendly in nature. Fall in love with this island.

    (Translated by Google) What we usually mean by 'beach', there is nothing here - neither the sand, nor the waves. Sand is replaced by mud. Not even a place to sit. Just an open, open space. However, the sun disappears in the evening. Good communication with the main Sandip Bazaar is good with it (Original)

Beautiful sunset point in Sandwip but no facilities for tourist. Previously it was Sandwip town. 25 years back this shoreline severely affected and the town has been shifted to new place.

It's really beautiful place sandwip Beach

  • 3/5 MD Hasan I. 4 years ago on Google
Three star for the people of Sandwip. There is basically nothing to see. It's not a sand beach and the water is too far away from the land. You may need to walk for hour just to see water. No other facilities are here. Prices are high for most of the items as it's a remote area. There are not much trees in the beach so in summer, sun rays are the real problem here. People of Sandwip is so friendly! They helped us with cooking accessories, water, security and comfort.

Nothing but some coconut trees and open land for agricultural activities here. Just not sure that how come it's called beach. Though it looks nice as it is. This place normally look quite beautiful but when hurricane or tornado Will hit this place become very dangerous for local inhabitants. Plenty of green land with fresh air gives you or filled your heart in peace & happiness. Picnic spot or spending night in tents for over night party would be great for this place.
