I loved this beautiful place. I visited this place in January 2021. The water was crestal clear. The Bamboo 'Vela' ride was fantastic. We have gone 12 person on a Vela at a time. It's not easy to reach at Velakhum. You have to climb up and down on Debota hill. It's very hard to trekking the hill. So, if you want to go there you must take some preparation. Famous Amiakhum waterfall and Satbhaikhum waterfall are very close to Velakhum. You can enjoy all the beauty at a time.

In the water-stone kingdom of Velakhum, an unearthly feeling is born! This lagoon of calm-clear green water descends from Amiakhum with high stone walls on both sides and in the middle. As you cross this water-mountain path upstream of Amiakhum, you will be forced to believe that the sky-scraping rock mountains on both sides are blessing you with solemnity like a god. Even if all the beauties of the world are united, nothing will be felt by this water-stone school then. One of the most adventurous places in the country for trekkers. Here nature is decorated in its own color. This is one of the attractions of Amiyakhum trekking. It is possible to visit this place only with a raft. 5 minutes walk from Amiyakhum. Here you have to get on the bamboo raft. However, the difference between Satvaikhum and Velakhum is that after going a little farther on the Velakhum raft, we have to go down through a gap in the rock and go to a new spring called Naiksharmuk.

Deadliest place in the monsoon season but the flow of water stoke beautifully through the hill wall and appears such a marvellous art work that look like heaven. October and November is the best time for trekking there.

It is one of the best place which i have ever seen. It's natural beauty so nice that everyone must like it. If you want to go there you have to cross Debotar Hill which the most risky hill in this region. So be careful when tracking this hill. If you do not know how to swim, you have to use life Jacket.

Marvelous journey with the 'vela' towards the waterfall. The sun rays look dreamy when they come from the top of the hill. Travel safe and keep the nature clean.

Velakum is a place very nearby Amiakum. Velakum water is going to Amiakum and create the Amiakum Water fall. Its a place is really very interesting and using vala you can boating in Velakum. But impotent part is you need to pass the Depota pahar which is little bit critical but lot of people are visiting the place. I visited the place last 24-12-2019 and we really enjoy the place. Before you visit the place you must prepare yourself to passing the Debota Pahar (mentally and physically). We go 10 persons but 01 person is not going the place because he have height sickness. So, he is staying the top of the Dabotapahar and we 09 persons are going there. I really like the place and who visit the place he also like and hope you also. Thanks.
