Shoilo Propat:the waterfall named Shoilo Propat at Milanchari, It is a excellent site maintained by Bangladesh Parjatan, the national tourism promotion corporation. It is 8km away from Bandarban town on the Bandarban Ruma road. This is one of the most famous and visited natural fall of Bangladesh. You can hear the purl of this fall throughout the year. The flow of this fall becomes vigorous during the rainy season. The water of this fall is so transparent and cool. It is a good source for drinking water and household use for the local bawm community. For availability of water here has grown 2/3 bawm village. It has become the main center for their economic activities. There is a small market for selling bawm handicrafts, handloom products and local food in shoylo prapat. One can see closely the struggling life of bawm community here in shoylo propat. There is no ticket system here and free for everyone...Just come and vusit here but remember that the stones are sleepary nd can occure an accident any time so be careful...

Good place but lack a lot of basic facilities. Although the bare minimum fooding and shopping facilities is there but rest the spot is left barren. Few structures are built by the local authority but they are not managed. You can find local handmade products like shall, dress, toys, decorative items on the spot which are actually beautiful. I bought one shall for my wife just for 500 taka.

Less crowded area, a beautiful waterfall named Shailo Propat, situated at Milanchari, 4km distanced from Bandarban main town on the way to Tanchi. We visited here in early September. It is one of the famous tourist spots in Bandarban. The waterfall becomes vigorous during the rainy days. It also spreads beauty during other seasons. There are some mountains and lots of trees to increase the tourist attraction. A small request to you: Please do not throw your used garbage here. As a result nature loses its beauty. Please let the nature live, so that other tourists of our country and abroad can enjoy this beauty of our country.

The place is very beautiful. The rocky riverbed is new and attractive for someone like a flat place people like me.If u come, u 'll love it.But don't litter. Because of tourist's trashes, the place lost half of it's charm. So if u come, don't forget to carry your own litter to the trash can. Also, the tribal folk's drink this water. Hope u have enough sense........ 😅

Jhiri was almost dry during winter. No cleanliness. Locals uses and throws shampoo packs and others garbage on the stream. Became tourist destination most probably because its the only stream that can be visited on the way to nilgiri and no tracking required. Just had to climb up and down few stairs. No ticket required.

Beauty of shoilo propat can't expressed in word. For this some can't rich to the real beauty of nafakum. Govt. Should work on it. Enjoyed every moment. When we reached there, there was nobody but us. No crowd, no noise... only the sound of falling water. We been there at the end of September. The waterfall was unveiled to us in mighty and powerful face. Not sure how many people saw its real face. we are lucky that we saw something, which, very few people has ever seen. One small request : PLEASE don't fill this place with your junk & wastage , let the mother nature breathe and your future generation enjoy the beauty.

Shoilo Propat is a famous waterfall in Bangladesh under Bandorban district. The waterfall named Shoilo Propat or Shoylo Propat at Milanchari, 4 km from the town on the road to Thanchi, is also excellent site maintained by Bangladesh Parjatan, the national tourism promotion corporation. The Parjatan Motel is not a small thing at all. It has a huge three-storey building on a high place. The room rent here a little high compared to other places The site maintained by the District Administration is Meghla, 4 km from the town on the road to Keranihat, which features a mini-safari-park, a zoo, and a hanging bridge. The District Administration has also developed the Nilachal tourist site near Meghla, in Tigerpara. Shoilo Propat is one of the most famous and visited natural fall in Bangladesh. During the rainy season the flow of this fall becomes vigorous. The water of this fall is so cool and transparent Near the Shoilo Propat there has grown up two or three village for the availability of water. It is a good source for drinking water and household use for the local community. There is a small market near the Shoilo Propat for trade local peoples handicrafts, handloom products and food. Visitor can closely see the struggling lifestyle of this region community. There is no arrangement for food & accommodation in Shoilo Propat. Visitors has to carry drinking water and food with his own management. But there are some tea stalls nearby the Shoilo Propat. There are available of auto rickshaw, private jeep or “Chander Gari”(public jeep) to go from Bandarban town to Shoilo Propat.

This place is good for watching clouds & take natural snaps. Unfortunately for us we couldn’t find any clouds as we went there starting of summer. This place changes to different beauty at nightfall that we really enjoyed. Tasted best green coconut of Bandarban here, also find great deal of tribal cloth shops here. If you are cloud lover & want take snaps of clouds please visit there in winter or rainy season. Worth a visit, recommending it.

A natural beauty. On the way to nilgiri or chimbuk hill , this place is found. Water flow is strong in rainy season only. Few local personnel have their shops at this place. Handicrafts are available. Few local handloom products are available . Ladies dress, local traditional dress, local traditional ornaments , products made from bamboo etc are found. Freshly harvested fruits are also available .

Shoilo Propat is one of the interesting tourist spots of Bandarban. It is located on the Bandarban-Thanchi road, 8 km from Bandarban district town. It’s a wonderful creation of natural beauty. The icy water of the fountain is always flowing here. At the foot of the hill, there is a suitable environment for picnicking on the banks of the waterfall. As soon as you go to the cliffs, you will see the lifestyle of the Bam tribes. They have hand-knitted sheets, mufflers, bedsheets and various furniture and utensils made of cane and bamboo at affordable prices. The special feature of this waterfall is the ever flowing stream of cool water, which has made the cliff an attractive tourist destination in Bandarban.

The icy water of the fountain is flowing here all the time. The water of this fountain is very clear. Although the view of this waterfall can be seen during the rainy season, it is very difficult to get down to the waterfall. Most of the year is full of domestic and foreign tourists. Due to the location of the cliff on the side of the road, a large number of tourists can be seen here. Here one can witness the struggling life of the indigenous Bom community nestled in the lap of inaccessible hills. Ways to go: First you have to go to Bandarban city. Vehicles of several transport companies leave for Bandarban every day from different parts of Dhaka. You can go to Bandarban by taking any bus of Shyamli, Hanif, Unique, S Alam, Dolphin. These buses leave from Kalabagan, Sayedabad or Fakirapul for Bandarban at 10 pm or 11:30 pm. Non AC bus fare is 550 rupees per person, AC 950 rupees. You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong.
