Satchori National Park is really a beautiful place. This place is quite natural and peaceful. Actually this spot is a part of an ancient forest. Day by day we’re reducing the percentage of forest and facing global warming. In this warning situation such place would be the greatest place for spending weekend. This place has eye soothing greenish nature as well as a cool environment. There is a watch tower and some trail to explore the forest. Multiple hills are also included with this forest. The watch tower is situation at the middle hill. This hill is also called sanctuary for butterflies. There are different kinds of animal live in this forest. This forest is also a sanctuary for those animals. If you will lucky enough then you can meet some rare animal while tracking through the trails. I did not track, I just went to the watch tower area and could enjoy the whole forest at a glance with the company of some beautiful butterflies. I noticed that palm trees are predominant in some specific hills and another hills contain mixed variety of trees. The trees of Satchori forest are shorter than the trees of Lauachara forest. There is some adventure zone in this forest which was damaged while I visited. You have to pay fifty taka in the forest gate to enter. Seven canals pass through this forest, this is the reason behind it's naming ‘Satchori’, in Bangle language ‘Sat’ means seven and ‘Chori’ is like canal. We made our journey from Baniachang, Habiganj. At first we went to Habiganj Bus Stand and from here we moved to Shayestaganj. Then we hire an autorickshaw to go to the forest, it costed 300 tk. Transport is not available there always, so we haired that autorickshaw for our whole journey and our total cost from Shayestaganj was 700 tk. In local transportation per head cost would be 60 tk from Shayestaganj. I will suggest to make a visit there to all the tourists and please do not harm the environment and animal.

Excellent place to visit, to have a forest visiting experience. Watch tower is very good for sight seeing. You can photograph birds and forest landscape from the watch tower. During dry season up to march you can walk through sandy trails of the dried out water streams. You can explore through deep forest. Can find some rare exotic animals and birds here. Not suitable for pleasure trip, only those who like challenges, travelling to explore the world are welcome. Govt. Dormetory here is very busy during birding photography season. The quality of the dormitory is not good. But that doesn’t matter for the travellers since they don't come here to stay, but to see the forest and photograph wildlife. Two restaurants are there, food is good, only a limited items are available. You will have to inform the food shop a head of time to avail the next meal. Otherwise you will not get food.

Satchari National Park. I visited the place this year in February. It is in Cunarudhat, Habiganj, Dhaka. The park is situated in Raghunamdan hill, under Paipara Union. It took 130 kilometres (81 mies) from Dhaka. Now I am showing my memories and experiences from my PC in the video. There are 9 Tea gardens nearby. Satchari tea garden is one of the West and Chalapunji tea garden is on the East. If you see the video, you can see the natural beauty of the tea gardens. Approximately 25 families of Tipra Tribe are living now in the Tipra village. I also showed their lifestyles, houses and culture in mention video.

Inside the Satchari National Park, there is an hour-long trail, a watch tower, and more besides the Butterfly Garden, many trees of extinct species. Monkeys are occasionally seen walking around. A beautiful place to visit. The biodiversity is amazing! You can get very close to the nature just by taking a short stroll through the forest! (I grew up in Chunarughat but the irony is, I only visited the forest when I was back home for a short time in 2016.) In short, if you love nature you are bound to love Satchari! I have a special request to the all tourists, that is, please make sure when you visit you look after the forest and NEVER litter! WE MUST PROTECT THE FOREST ! WE MUST PROTECT THE WILDLIFE!

Good place to explore but if you a a solo traveller you must need a guide for safety. Because they know this place well and the road where you can walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. Here you will find duck curry which is famous here. You can try and taste that

Amazing Place for a jungle trek. But try to avoid the watch tower. It vibrates when people climbs the stairs, feels like an earthquake!

Another mesmerising national park of Bangladesh. We drove through the park with the scenic beauty on the both sides of the road . And it’s not the end after the park ends you can enjoy the views of tea garden on the both sides of the road as well . However we haven’t got the time to explore inside the park but we certainly believe it would be excellent .
