Principal activities of the company are to provide Off-Dock services to its valued clients that include as under: Inland Container Depot comprising transportation and storage of empty containers and redelivery of the containers to various locations as per client’s advice. Container Freight Station comprising activities related to Export and Import cargo handling. The services that are provided include: Receiving of export cargo, storage of the same in bonded warehouse, documentation to complete formalities related to export, stuffing (loading) of the cargo in the container and transportation of the same after due customs formalities to the Port Container Yard or Vessel Hook as per Client’s advice. Receiving import cargo from port yard, documentation, unstuffing (unloading) of the same after due Customs formalities and handing over of cargo to clients. Company also provides some customized services to its clients, such as Container condition survey, its repair and maintenance; Fumigation; etc.

Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) is a privately owned one of the largest Off-Dock service provider and inland water container terminal operator in Bangladesh. It's located nearly 7km away from Chittagong Port. Their inland container depot have the facilities for empty container storage and container freight station having provision for handling both Import and Export cargo.

A container deport of Samit Group. Freight forwarders ware houses are doing Business by renting their spaces. There are several forwarders in SAPL. Some renown Forwarders are APL Logistics, Demko, Quine+Nagal etc.

Due to the presence of so many container depots in the port CEPZ area, it is distressing as well as the common road passengers have to suffer.

This is a Inland Container Depo.SAPL is the largest Container Depo in Bangladesh.It's mainly storage garments for export with maintaining custom formality in the depo.It is a custom bonded area.It's have import facility also, about 90 kind of products have permission from government to import this depo.30% import-export of Bangladesh done by SAPL.
