One of my favorite spots in Patras. It has nice cafes around to drink coffee or eat something. The atmosphere here is amazing, especially at the sunset

Unfortunately the front basin (used by visiting boats) of patras marina suffered extensive damage over the winter. Until repair work is performed (no sign at the moment), the marina is essentially closed to visiting boats. A basin in the commercial port is the available alternative in patra. This harbour is near the town centre and has services (water and electricity) but not adequate in certain circumstances when waves rebound off the walls. A sad situation for pleasure vessel tourism and related professionals (mechanics, hardware suppliers etc.). Update 2022: This post remains still true. In fact the port is in an even worse condition after a big storm in November '21. Luckily, the unrelated closure of the Korinth canal has substantially reduced the boat traffic. Any visiting boat intending Patra harbour should avoid coming in bad weather.

A site that is a welcoming first impression to all visitors from the waters or the waterfront of the city! Let the city's plans and all involve government agencies to upgrade the so many abbonbed areas, so we can definitely say that is another jewel !

All bars and especially Theatraki (Θεατράκι) are excellent. Great drinks and food, fantastic views, mostly available parking. We all wish the moorings themselves were better maintained, but overall is a happy walk and stay.

Beautiful place to drink a coffee and watch the sunset. It should have been kept in a better state though because a lof of things are ruined and never get replaced.

If you have a bad day, grab a cup of coffee and start walking watching the magnificent view at Marina!!

Good place for a walk in front of the sea, can get very busy and there's also car traffic so it's not easy to leave kids play.

Most beautiful sunsets. Best area of Patras for walks along promenade. Cycling lane is a grand help for cyclists. Loads of coffee shops and some nice eating places with a view of yachts, mountains and again magical sunsets
