The employees are plainly dumb. Two women wasted 10 minutes of my time trying to explain to me that "the wifi is everywhere, and you don't need a name or a password". They were waving hands showing the "everywhere" and got very annoyed along the way. I wanted to buy tickets online, but had no data on my phone and asked if they had wifi. It is a joke of a tourist information office.

Just by the entrance to the acropolis. Does not sell tickets for the acropolis so use nearby machine or at gate. Helpful and knowledgeable

Has public restroom / bathroom / toilet / wc / 洗手間 Edit: went back another day at like 2pm, bathroom randomly closed. Asked staff where another is, guy was weirdly rude. Yeah yeah nobody likes being asked all day "where's the bathroom," but home boy, if you're u don't like it, put some signs up, don't be mad that a bunch of random people that don't live here don't know where the bathroom is lmao

It was difficult to find the main entrance because there were many Motorcycles parked outside and some of them were parked in front of the information board!

Good information received. The employee spoke both French and English. At the moment only two persons (or one family) allowed inside.

this Is unbelievable. You change hours because of the extreme heat and don't update it on your website and Google Maps?? We walked the "extreme heat" all the way to get to the info point, and found it closed. Do you not know how to update your opening hours? I'm speechless.

This tourist office distributes city maps wrapped in plastic packaging, this is the first time I have seen this. I expressed my astonishment to the receptionist, she shrugged her shoulders without saying anything and waved me off with her hand. I then understood why there was so much plastic waste around... I don't dare to calculate the number of packaging multiplied by the number of visitors... The office is not responsible for the incivility of tourists but it is responsible for the distribution of unnecessary and polluting packaging.

(Translated by Google) It can be treated badly or worse. This was worse. I don't know if I was unlucky. The man, to call him in some way, happened to us, we extracted the information with a dropper while he ate an ice cream. It seemed that we bothered him and on top of that he hesitated us with his answers. It is the worst attention we have had in an information office and I assure you that I have already taken many trips. To forget.

Terrible, I have never been in a tourist office with such unpleasant staff. They told me that an elderly person can easily climb the Parthenon because there are 3 stairs... A lie to get rid of one more tourist.

Rarely have I met such unmotivated employees. The lady gives the guests the feeling of being a troublemaker. I wanted to get various information, so I reduced myself to the minimum and researched the rest on the internet. The woman has zero commitment and is doing her time hoping no one bothers her.

We can't put 0, too bad. Move on, it's the first country I've visited where the welcome is so bad. Two women at reception pulling a funeral head. And who for all answer shows you a stack of documents in blister packs only in English...the others fuck you! Thanks to Google and the small merchants who gave us information on places to visit, more interesting group packages and above all with a smile and who spoke French much better than us Greek.

We have asked information for the ticket and the gate for my wife visually impaired, the person said we have to ask to the ticket office and do the line (2 hours lenght!). Fortunately ana guide Say to us to follow her and give the priority access.

Horrible, the guy at desk was rude and unresponsive. Looked like he hated life, or at least hated tourists. Lol.

Very Polite and helpful staff. But limited leaflets on Athens. Not easy to locate on google maps or signposts for the office, but came across by chance when we went to book tickets for Acropolis.

(Translated by Google) Very friendly and the public toilets are a real insider tip 😀 I have to correct that. We were here again today and today the same woman was in such a bad mood, it was hard to believe. When my wife asked about the toilet, she was chased out. Haven't seen anything like this before. Seems to be more like the mood of the day and the mood of the employees.

Taxi review: scam artists/crooks; Was at the National archaeological museum in Athens today, June 11. We left after 3:00. We saw a cab and asked to get a drive to. Filellinon The cab driver asked us if we speak Greek we said no. He then started saying that there are extra fee s after 3. He lifted up a book and pointed to it and talk about fees etc. We thought a little bit more wouldn’t be bad. He charged us 50.00 for this cab ride. Less than ten minutes. Was really about 5. I took out money and handed what I though was correct. He then started yelling that it was not and that I gave him the wrong amount. I think a slight of hand in his part changed one of the bills. So I really paid 70. There is no special rate. There is no extra fee. I was scammed. He has a scheme and I’m sure I’m not the first. Middles aged guy. So watch out. Don’t believe a thing they say. Ask for the price up front. And if they want to charge more ask for receipts and take their name and take a picture of the cab when you get out. Lesson learned. The cab driver is a crook. Be careful. Welcome Athens.

Really underwhelming - normally at tourist information centres there are leaflets and brochures that you can browse. There were no leaflets for tours/museums/nature etc and instead one of the ladies sat behind a big glass screen was smiley but just gave us the name of a website to book a ferry from and seemed rather disinterested in what we wanted to do and we went on our way... Our hotel lobby has more leaflets to help get us more excited about Athens. (We're not fans of simply looking at our phones to look things up - tourist info centres are usually great places to get started with inspiration to book tours and day trips etc!)
