The dhabha is over priced and hygiene is not up to mark. Maybe they are making advantage of the monopoly at the region. The tariffs are really expensive one and we were not satisfied with the meal. If you really wanna taste the Punjabi cuisine under any expense, you may try this.

Visited this place once after searching for Punjabi dhaba in Calicut town. Not an upscale place. Limited veg Punjabi dishes available. Hard to find parking for even two-wheelers nearby this place. Located in the first floor, so hard to notice and access. Food was ok. Since I've visited Punjabi dhabas in the north, not what you expect from the authentic one.

Small yet hygienic place, Ordered masala papad, bhindi fry, karela fry, aloo paratha gobi paratha and buttermilk. everything was simple and good in taste prepared in less oil masala, served hot roties and paratha directly from tawa was highlight. In some confusion they gave cabbage in place of bitter gourd but it was good in taste. Despite of being a small eatery, one of the best north indian place in calicut.

Ordered Thali meals, contains 3 paratha and jeera rice,dal,curd, papad, achaar etc.Nice North Indian Veg. Option in Calicut 😀

Think it is safe to say that this is one of the good options for Punjabi cuisine. We ordered Phulka, Butter Jeera Rice and Paneer Simla curry. While Phulka and Paneer Simla were good, butter Jeera rice was a big disappointment - first and foremost, they didn't use basmati rice and then there was hardly any butter taste.. rating would have been 4 if this wasn't the case.

Delli cafe serves Punjabi dishes (veg only) at a very reasonable price. They serve tasty food however the over all hygiene and decor of the restaurant is below par. It is in the first floor of the building and there is no elevator available hence it is difficult to access for physically challenged. It is close vicinity to palayam bus stand and also inter state buses start from this location. Hence this restaurant is a good option for those who travel at night. If you drive a four wheeler here, it would be a challenge to find a parking place for your vehicle.

Pure veg, pocket friendly restaurant. Located on first floor on mm Ali road. Phulkas available only not tandoori, always ask for which seasonal dry sabji is available. Love the alu paratha, dahi masala, rajma and bhindi fry. Run by a guy from UP. The taste never fails. Not a fine dining but not so bad either.

Food average.. bought aloo paratha nd Shahi paneer, mattar mushroom... All where just average... not authentic Punjabi..

Calicut town got very few options for north Indian pure veg and this is one of them. Small restaurant with Yummy food and delicious Lassi. Tried Aloo Parata, palak paneer and dal fry and was excellent. Bit hard to spot the restaurant.
