Great location for photoshoot and nice ambiance. Its a very old temple we can enter into the temple and ther are not allowed inside nalambalam for public. Its very good place for photoshoot they are charging 300 for photoshoot. This pond is in the movie sargam filim. Its located in muchikkunnu, Quilandi, Kozhikod district.

Muchukunnu Kottayil Kavu situated at Muchukunnu, near Quilandy in Kozhikode district (Kerala, India) exemplifies an effort to preserve the treasure- trove of nature. Very old temple, the thing is that you can enter into the temple but there’s no entry for public to the ‘Nalambalam’. And there’s a beautiful temple pond nearby. Too much close to the nature without any make up. Everything is perfect in the nature. It is a must see place if you are coming somewhere near Koyilandi.

The soothing atmosphere with the quietness and the greenery will make u fall in love with this place. Situated besides the famous kottayil temple. Now they charge Rs. 300/- for professional photography and wedding photoshoots and is allowed to take videography till 11am only and u have to remit the fees at the temple.

One of the most beautiful Lord Shiva temple i visited. Very very old, too close to nature, very beauyiful and peculiar temple pond. Easy to access, but travelling by private vehicle is suitable. Parking facility is there. Must visit place

It is a very peaceful place, and one can feel the calming environment of such a divine place. The temple is maintained very cleanly. And the architecture of the temple as well as the stepwell was so good.
