Dog owners: you can bring your pup with you through the entire site, even inside! Very interesting site to visit, very good audioguide for non-Polish speakers. The inner courtyard is not accessible, because under construction, but you still get a good tour out of it. You have to hike up a hill 10-15mij to get there, but a guy with a golf cart can get you there if you have mobility issues.

Really nice place which is still growing. Hard climb on the way up but with small game which you may participate. This helps with the climb and provides some competition. You also need to be there when they fire the cannon. It is worth to wait for a guided tour as they also shoot an old weapon. It's all good and well but the single item missing is a good place to eat. Apart from that there is a lot to see a fire range, cannon and much more. Nice views.

Great place to visit if you have a dog, the staff is very nice to animals and the entry fee is not to high(free entry for dog's). One thing to remember the fort is under reconstruction, so some places are off limits.

A good place to visit if you are familiar with the Polish language. Offering of guided tours but unfortunately only in Polish. Also signs and explanations of the exhibits were not translated. A shame really as it has an interesting history in an interesting area of Poland. Recommend to invest in translation and multi language tours.

The citadel was built in 12 years and it's the biggest of this kind in Europe. The musket shot done by a guide was really amazing! However a tour might be a bit longer.

Great place. Great atmosphere. Great for families with kids. From parking place you need to walk up around 1 km to get there but it’s great walk.

Great place! Really interesting tour. Downsides are reconstruction and lack of any info in English.

Beautiful scenery, interesting history, tour guide was hilarious and also demonstrated firing an old flintlock rifle.

Great place. Have a great opportunity. But at the.moment a big rebild and recontrastraction destroy a picture of this place.

This place is really amazing, I liked how well it was restored and views from this fortress are very nice. Guide was wearing authentic clothes and the most impressive thing during tour was shooting from a old gun. Although what I didn't really like was that there were no translations to English language on any kind of place, maybe that's because this place isn't visited a lot by other nationality tourists?! I don't know... But as this fortress claims to be one of the biggest in Europe I think it should have quite a lot more translations.

Very nice place with history. Folder and panels in several languages give relevant information. Landscape is beautiful. Unfortunately guided tour is only available in Polish. Nice to see anyway.

Very interesting place but you need to take the tour because you can't walk around by yourself in a lot of places, so need go with tour, you need park 1km from fort and walk up , easy walk 20min or take and pay for meleks ( little bus) but is easy walk

Fun little historical fortress, I would take the paid tour simply for the firing of the old musket. The shockwave is truly incredible and worth experiencing to understand how miserable it must have been for soldiers at the fort during wartime operation. The restaurant below served pretty good food, and the bathroom facilities were quite clean!

A historical place located above small mountain town of "Srebra Góra" is worth seeing. I recommend you to take a walk all around the keep first, to see it by the eyes of an attacker. Next you can take a cheap guided tour in a group to see the interiors. You will also have some time to wander around on your own. You can use that time to admire the views on the landscape.

You need to take the tour for the full experience but the views from the upper levels of the fortress were worth the price of admission. There is an approximately 15 minute walk uphill from the parking lot to the entrance but there was a golf cart that will drive you up to the entrance for a small fee, based on the number of people (30 PLN for four people).

You can visit it by yourself, but i recommend comming there when free tour guide is available. They tell you the stories about soldiers life, duties, penalties in a way that you can feel their misery....
