Shadiest Spa experience EVER - a Turkish Hammam experience without the use of the hammam, as it was not functional - I flew from Delhi to Mumbai for this experience, paid in advance for a shady entry to a gorgeous building with no guard or Human outside the premises. Inside the lockers with your valuables can be opened by anyone of the staff, as they have a fixed combination for all lockers. Since the hammam chamber was not working I was escorted to a different level to use a steam room, which was set to a very high temperature. The chamber where the cleansing was done was assured to be private, but when I left I could see into the cabin from the outside. So all the staff on the premises who were visible to me during the Therapy, could also see my therapy in unmentionables. All in all a totally avoidable experience till they become more customer service oriented and do not just accept there money without a conscience. So disappointed!

Went there today (1st July ‘23). Absolute garbage. Forget the fact that the pricing is ₹ 7500+ GST for a Turkish Hammam package. Even if you give me this package for free, I wouldn’t even bother. It would be a waste of time. They clearly have no idea what “touch points” and service sequences are. Every single person I interacted with through my experience was absolutely clueless about everything with the exception of some lady on the phone who took my reservation. She was in the know, but probably the most arrogant person I have spoken to when trying to make a reservation. It was like she was doing me a favour by taking my reservation. It was my wife and I. We took the Turkish Hammam experience for each of us - ₹17,700 for 120 minutes. The experience itself was rubbish - 1) when we entered by car - no idea where to park or go. Had to call the number and was asked to park near the temple. It was pouring and the actual place was a 5 minute walk away. No one to help us through the rain 2) entered and asked where to keep my Umbrella - the lady was clueless. I finally just left it at the entrance against the wall. 3) lady at the desk at least was expecting us and ushered us after a 5 minute wait, to a waiting room. 4) waited another 10 mins and then a therapist ushered us into a changing area. Showed us a locker and had us place our keys, phones, wallets, jewellery etc in it. There was a standard 1-2-3-4 code on all the lockers??? Anyone could open it 5) were asked to change into a bathrobe and disposable underwear, in a dimly lit changing room area - there were lights there but not turned on for whatever reason. One of the robes was stained, so I took the other one. Both, my wife’s and my robe, were smelling strange. Not fresh 6) the therapist then ushered us to a steam area, where she struggled to turn on the steam. Every step of the way, you could tell that the staff is untrained, new, or has NO IDEA what they’re doing. I asked her why she didn’t turn it on BEFORE we went to the room and she just shrugged with her hands in her pockets. 7) Throughout, we got the feeling that no one gave a dink about our experience or what we felt. 8) once done with the steam, we were taken to independent rooms for the hammam bath. There was ZERO interaction, information, conversation. We were expected to guess what they are doing? There was at no point, any communication to either of us in terms of what the flow would be, what would we go through, what would be applied on us, where we would be etc. 9) after the body scrub, the therapist disappeared for 15 mins. She reappeared looking confused, but non apologetic. At that point I lost my patience and asked her what was happening? I said - “you’ve left me here waiting for 15 mins! Can you at least tell me what you’re doing? What’s happening? What will happen next?” She put on a white glove and started scrubbing me again with soap. I stopped her and asked her why she wasn’t doing the bubble application. She told me she was looking for the cloth and that they had only 1. I was SHOCKED! I pay 18k to hear that!? What kind of experience and company is this. There is no excuse. Completely unprepared and clueless. She then disappeared again for 5 mins and magically appeared with the cloth. 10) I told her at this point that she’s wasted 15 mins of the therapy and ruined the experience. She replies with- “YOU CAN COMPLAIN AFTER THE MASSAGE IS OVER”. Can you even believe that!? At this point, it was just laughable. 11) the bath ended with the therapist applying a hideous smelling shampoo 12) once done with all this, we eagerly awaited what we hoped will be a silver lining in the form of a breakfast. We were served a very humble fruit salad on a plate covered with Clingwrap! There were also some harabhara kebabs (!?!) along with Watermelon Juice (also in clingwrap). Forget luxury, this was closer to airline food presentation. Vistara honestly does a better job 13) finally, no one to even see us off or even bother to take feedback Arrogant, clueless, waste of time and money

I recently visited Shilp Wellness and opted for their Turkish bath, which was the most expensive service on their list. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory and left me feeling quite disheartened. To start with, the service itself was subpar. The attendant did not seem very knowledgeable about the procedure and did not provide clear instructions. Additionally, the quality of the products used during the service was very poor. I was expecting a luxurious and relaxing experience, but instead, I was left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. What's even more concerning is that the products used during the service appeared to be substandard. They lacked the quality and fragrance that one would expect from a high-end spa like Shilp Wellness. I found this to be extremely disappointing, especially given the price I paid for the service. Overall, my experience at Shilp Wellness was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious spa experience. The Turkish bath, which was the most expensive service on their list, was a complete letdown. I would strongly advise against wasting your money on this service at Shilp Wellness.

A great experience of traditional Hammam around Mumbai. Very relaxing. Staff are extremely polite and well trained. Will definitely visit again.

We were asked to come at 5:30pm for a 6pm appointment. They said if we come after 5:30 we won’t be able to get the treatment. We traveled for 2 hours and came. We weren’t even offered water at arrival. We were made to wait till 7:30pm without anyone at reception, nobody to attend to us. We ended up going back to Mumbai after waiting for 2 hours. I would not recommend.

Truly an amazing experience with the most enchanting ambience. It transports you totally to the hammam experience, seems surprising to have something like this an hour away from Mumbai. Completely a must have experience. Staff is courteous and experienced in what they are doing. Will visit again surely.

Shilp Wellness, a centre situated at Ayush resort, Panvel have started the first of its kind "Turkish Hamam" in India. It's a new novel concept for us Indians. A spa which gives full body wash in Turkish/Moroccan style. It has huge massage n therapy rooms for couple. Big jacuzzi bath area, huge hexagonal SPACE for giving body scrub wash... OMG it's world class. It's very elegantly designed with huge rooms for therapy. Prices n packages are a little high but considering the 120 minute package it is good. All staff is well trained n are from Manipur. I met Linda, Esther n Soi. All very young, smiling, polite n well informed to help new people. The basement has a holistic room for guided meditations and the terrace has open to sky yoga center. The interior is world class n very richly n elegantly done to give required look. Must must must visit for an experience of "Turkish/Moroccan Hamam n spa"

Very very good hotel one of the best rooms in mumbai weekend gateway. This is worth visiting . For kids there are many pet animals too. Spa is the best. They have Hamam bath Turkish Moroccan spa bath, one of the best experiences ever till date. Boita and Bella in spa are very good experiences . banty , Mayur are very good experience person in hotel. Hotel is like a heritage luxury palace, our room had a small pvt pool too.

Beautiful place and amazing service! We opted for the hammam spa and it was truly better than the ones we got done at Turkey. The staff was well trained and the interiors were breathtaking. Overall a superb experience. The personnel who handle the bookings over the phone are quite rude though (apart from being complacent) and answer the phone with a 'ya tell me' instead of a courteous 'hello, how may i help you' - so don't get put off my that.

It was an incredible and soothing experience at the spa—relaxing, luxurious, with highly skilled and professional therapists. We opted for the 60-minute body massage and the signature Turkish hamam, and it was truly amazing! Went there for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff was very helpful, the ambience is awesome and all in all one of the best spa experiences we have been too. Also the most different!
