One of the best thalapakattu Biryani outlet. My favourite are their trademark seeraga samba Biryani. Mori moru chicken, black pepper chicken , mutton kola urundai and jigirthanda. I will recommend this place. Bit crowded. Reach the place on time. Valet parking also available

Very Bad experience from this outlet in Chennai. Except for the soup we ordered, everything else was so bad, and didn't taste much and bland. The kari dosa didn't taste much and both of us only ate a small portion and left the remaining. The chicken porichath starter was soo dry and without any flavour and the mayo dipping didn't add anything to the dish. The sad part is even after we didn't finish the food, the server didn't have the courtesy to ask why we have not finished the food and cleared the table.

Considering the quality of food, the franchise should take care of service as well. No comments on Food - as Thalapakatti biriyani never compromises their taste. Food is top notch. Mutton biriyani is worth the price. But Service is very bad. Captains attend the customers too late and too lethargic. Feels like they are forced to serve us. - This review is based on the day we went. Maybe the service would be good but we faced it bad.

Mutton biryani is one of the best. Good packaging and quality food. It had some complaints also. But I didn't encounter it in my order. Madurai Jigirthanda in their Velachery branch which I had long time back was very good.

Tried mutton meals for 2 rs799+gst extra 1.Super chicken soup (5/5) 2.Black pepper chicken(extra rs39)(5/5) 3.Mutton briyani(2 big pieces with bone. Less meat not to the expectation as it is their signature dish. Meat is hard to bite.No egg(available for extra cost). Qty is ok)-(3/5) 4. Parrota-ok 5. Gulab jamun and Rasagulla (all 4-5 pieces in mini sizes)-(4/5) No ice-cream for the above menu Recommended for a couple who want to try variety from soup to dessert.

The Worst fish finger, I've ever had in my life its too oily, salty & burnt too...its like an "Fish bajji".Dear Thalapakkati management please train your chef's to make an better dish..& kindly compare with other restaurants "fish finger" otherwise please remove from your menu...These kind of dishes ruin your entire goodwill of your restaurant...

We ordered briyani. The taste was good, but the side dish gravy was very poor. We told the waiter and he went inside taking the same. After a long time brought the same gravy in a bigger bowl after heating. He added a few bones in it. Not sure why!!!😜😜😜😜

Biriyani was good in taste and worth the bill amount for that. Parking though there was no valet available to take our car away it was easy to access so no problem with parking... Bought fish finger and anchovy fry which were waste of money to last paise. Charging a whooping 349 basa fish finger is nothing but loot seriously and the worst part is it tasted like eating mud and slurr

I was searching for a good veg biryani and thalappakatti had the mushroom and paneer options. No complaints on the taste but the portion size doesn't not fill serve one person. Quantity was very less. The price was also too high for a veg biryani. Even they didn't offer any dessert or brinjal raita for biryani then why this much high price for a small bowl I don't understand. Coming to the service, we went as a couple and ordered biryani and vegetarian food, they didn't mind as much as they serve the non vegetarian people. Totally disappointed. Finally they introduced summer drinks. It tasted nice and good to have with food.

Food quality is same as in other branches. Billing counter and waiting area is small. The seating arrangement is good for the small place (compared to my experience with few other locations where the area is spacious)

I use to go Sanatorium Thalapakatti since it's starting days. They are maintaining the taste standards and quality in high all these years. Staff's response and politeness always at peak. Ambience didn't change a bit, exactly same refreshing ambience. Good, Best, Excellent..

Must visiting place around Tambaram....for the unique taste of food if search...biriyani is there and such mouth watering dishes are there for us in the menu and at the dine....mint fresh juice and 4 more flavours are there to finish the food

Mutton bone soup - spicy and tasty. Pepper boneless chicken - not the usual south Indian style but was more like chinese style Mutton briyani - pieces were not soft and hard to chew. Wasn't that hot. Mutton sukka was okay but didn't have many mutton pieces. Chicken karandi was soft and tasty. Overall food is pricey and the dining experiences in this chain has gone down slightly than how it was a few years ago.

Last week we tried our friends meet-up here.. Quality which they provided was ultimate.. Especially their seeraga Samba briyani was top-notch.... And their customer service also toooo good ..

Good food but the service was poor. Staff seemed more interested in chatting than getting us a spoon and fork. They were unable to give us just one parotta. You either get 2 or none; very weird. The interiors seemed like they could have been better maintained.

Fish finger starter was served after biryani was served. Order was not meticulously taken by the waiter. It was bit pricey. The watchman doesn't know the language and is confusing the place where we need to park. There is valet parking but no one is in service to take the car.

Not one of the better thalapakati restaurants that I've been too. The food was tasty. The ambience and cutlery is as always pleasing The staff, I believe were new but very polite and prompt The pros They strictly followed social distancing and covid protocols. The menu was given via qr code and the serving staff wore surgical masks and gloves throughout the time. The quantity was good and taste even better for most of them. The cons The soup was over peppery if that is a word The parking I believe is limited to the road side though I could be wrong The ice cream was icy in some parts. Either it's an old pack or they have kept the temperature too low

Very worst restaurant.. Quality and quantity very poor. Briyani also not worth for cost. Only 1 piece of meat in Mutton briyani.Quantity also very low. Rice is looks like ration shop rice... Forgery persons here.... So be careful.

Very good place. Food quality is very good. Ambience was the best of all. Quantity wise a little less and price is a bit high. Nice place to go in groups. Behaviours of staffs was also good.

I have visited this restaurant with friend, we had half tandoori and half pepper BBQ. Taste was not upto the mark and flesh looks like too many days frozen. They have given 3cup of mayonnaise and place looks clean and neat. But need to improve the taste and quality.

The staffs were friendly. I mean it. Their Al-Faham is definitely unbeatable. The chicken was so succulent and flavour infused. Being from southern part of Tamilnadu, I always missed seeraga samba biriyani in Chennai. Dindigul Thalapakatti made me satisfied. And staffs are literally so friendly that they were giving us mouth fresheners without any sulking (we were a group of 5 and were repeatedly asking the staffs for mouth fresheners). Thankyou for the good experience.

Briyani, alfham bbq were good. But pls avoid kothu parotta here. It was like they had poured egg and had parotta topped on top of it and beat it like they do a fried rice. Was not kothu parotta by any standard. Worst taste. Chapati was ok.

1.Mutton Biriyani Biriyani is nice but not super because they put lot of ghee so it taste like ghee rice.boneless pieces yummy. 2.Black Peper Chicken Black peper chicken very soft inside and crispy outside well cooked, aromatic dish must try
