Loved it! It has old school Soviet Union written all over it. If you want a modern hotel, this isn't for you, but as long as you don't need power sockets, a shower other than a hand shower in a bath tub or, indeed, any modern conveniences whatsoever, you'll love it. We only went down to breakfast once during our 5 day stay. There's a good reason why it's free. Customer service is also hilariously communist. They say there's internet but it doesn't really reach everywhere. It works fine downstairs but if you want to check your e-mails in bed, you'll be out of luck (on the 10th floor anyway). The elevators are also interesting; they have two sets, but never once did I see them all operational. We had a great time, but you need to be open-minded to appreciate the hotel for what it is.

I have visited this "hotel" in April 2018 for three nights, Tuesday to Friday. Dear future visitors of Pardubice, please PLEASE choose some other place.I get that some of the people would find the Soviet style charming, but there must be boundaries. Where do I start. One has to pay for parking. I received a double room instead of single room, the windows were to the southern side, therefore, my room would get insanely hot over the day. The room was dirty, full of dust, on the curtains I found a 5 cm long bug which was dead already, so who knows how long was it hanging out there (I suppose the heat during the day fried it alive). Other little bugs runnin around didnt surprise me after a while. The shower didnt have holder for shower head, so one has to hold it with their hand, however the shower hose was too short for full height of a human being so one has to bend or croach to use it. Water was running brown from the sink for quite some time. TV (kinescopic) was not working. Night lamps were working but broken. The ground was filthy and squeaky (even though its a carpet). Walls and ceiling falling apart. Moderate Wifi connection. Breakfast not appetising. This is getting lenghty, but I bet I am forgetting something. And all of this for >50€/night??? JOKE

Personnel from the reception is disappointing especially blonde ladies very unfriendly... Dear Guest, try to avoid this old Soviet-era place, everything is old and dirty.

One of the worst hotels in Pardubizza. Very slow internet service, even Room service is too bad. Rude staff, we asked them to clean the room on Monday, and they say it can be done no earlier than Wednesday.

The room on the 11 floor (the only floor with renovated rooms) was large and okay. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom sufficient. The rest of the hotel wasn't changed since the 80s. Strange smell in the halls, reception and breakfast room (moldy earth of the plants) On the 11 floor a bat was flying, which is apparently normal according to the old man behind the reception. The breakfast was okay. We had enough to choose from. The coffee though was horrible. If one needs a room to sleep, the hotel is good. Are you on vacation, look for something else.
