War monument that toy can climb in two directions. Good views from the top. No entrance fee - unlike the other mound in this forest, which is part of a museum.

Very nice hike to this mount, then onto this mount. Totally free and the hiking trails can be reached by public bus.

The most touristy of the four "mounds" of Krakow. Fee to enter and walk up to the top, but a good 360 view of the metro Krakow area. Bus#100 takes you up there or you can drive or walk. There is a cafe round back that has a bit of a view, and no entry fee is required. Museum is a bit mazelike (you have to find your way through to exit and go up the mound) and rather darkly lit. Although it does bring to life the story of Koscuiski for children. Hardly on the Krakow "must see" list imhop, but worth a look if you have extra time.

The biggest of 4 Krakow mounds. Could be good idea for walking, running or cycling nearby. It's not easy to get there by car, because googlemaps navigate wrongly. We left car on Junacka street, because it was not possible to do it on Zakamycha street. Amazing views. Situated in a big park with zoo and kathedral neerby

Located on the outskirts of Kraków city. It’s a nice place to hang out with, although the journey to the top might be a bit tiring, but it’s worth the effort.

Awesome view!! Easy to get to, nice trails, forest and nature around. Worth taking your bicycle or just walking through the woods. People do downhill and wall around the various trails.

Very popular place in Cracow with amazing views around. From this hill you can see part of Cracow City, as well as many mountains, forests and Cracow Airport. Good point for photographers. This hill is situated in Wolski Forest - one of the best place in Cracow, where a huge nature meet with big city. Also there is a zoo in the nearest neighborhood.

The highest point of the City of Kraków. You can see over the entire city and well beyond. In good visibility you can ever clearly see the Tatra Mountains over 120 kilometers to the South. You can also see the Airport to the North-West with a nice view of landing/departing airplanes.

It was such a nice experience to be at the highest point of Krakow. I recommend you to go there too. If you do not want to take a lot of time in the forest, there seem to be a clear path going there. That path is quite different from the path to the zoo and it think that’s the best path to the place

If you miss nature, you should go there. Amazing walk through the forest (I recommend the entrance from Kasztanowa street - Aleja Panieńskich Skał, just behind the church, you will walk over the blue bridge and then keep hiking for around 15 minutes).

Great view on the entire city and neighbourhoods. You can recognize the most of Krakow's prominent churches. You may also see Beskidy and Tatras in south when visibility is high. In north there is Krakow-Czestochowa upland observed, which is made of limestones mostly.

A great light hike from the Zoo, or otherwise from the Wolski Forest, even with kids. Make sure you go there on a sunny day, and bring a set of binoculars, you will see the whole cityscape, and even as far as the Tatra mountains
