Two days before, the pick-up time was changed from 6:40am to 5:40am; I appreciated the early notice, but would not have booked if I knew the start time could change to be so early. When we were picked up, the driver greeted us and applied the sticker indicating I was a part of the group directly to my chest, rather than handing it to me to apply myself. I felt uncomfortable about this. The guided tour was very informative and educational. However, due to the quick pace and high volume of people, it was difficult to capture photos. If I did pause to take a photo, I would be so far behind the guide that I could not see what the next explanation was about. I did the tour the first time with my friends with an english speaking guide and it was really nice so I recommended it to my parents since they had french guided tour. They received an SMS the day before to say that the trip they took at 1 pm was cancelled and that they have to come at 6 am but since they came directly from Warsaw they couldn't be there this early. So we called them to find a solution and they told us that they can put them to an english guided tour with some french documentation because they don't speaking english. They arrived in Auschwitz and they couldn't have the french documentation so they couldn't unterstand what the guide was saying. It's really frustrating for them. I hope they will do something to improve their service.
