If I could rate this higher I would. We had such an amazing experience with Adam I would recommend it to anyone. Adam arrived on time, was extremely friendly and professional, very informative and overall gave us a wonderful experience with his beautiful birds. We did the triple threat experience and it was so worth it and probably the best bundle you could get with him. It really exceeded my expectations, not only did Adam inform us on the history of falconry and his methods of training his animals but we also got to hold and pet his barn owl (Archie)! And fly his harris hawk (Jasper) and an African buzzard augar (kanoni). It was such a surreal and beautiful experience that we will never forget I am extremely grateful to have shared that experience. If anyone is on the fence about doing this I 100 percent recommend just doing it. You’ll love it!

Adam is a knowledgeable and wonderful guide to the world of raptors! We (three adults) had an amazing experience meeting 3 of his birds, hearing about their differences and watching them fly. Best birthday gift for my (challenging to find the right thing for) husband ever! I highly recommend Adam and this experience.

An amazing and unforgettable experience getting to hold these birds on your arm and watch them up close. Adam is amazing at what he does and goes into great detail about all of his birds and what he does. He's very patient and eager to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend this experience to anyone. We did the triple threat wih all three birds and we were so happy with our experience. We'll definitely be back to visit these amazing birds again !

This is the best falconry experience in Southern California. My family has been to others and this one is by far the best. You get a private experience with the birds that is unforgettable and pictures to capture the personal moments. Adam is a great educator and is passionate about sharing information about the different species to enhance the experience. The birds are gorgeous and it is awesome to interact with them up close and personal. Though we loved all the birds, Archie, the Barn Owl was our favorite. Beautiful, majestic, and such a sweetie. If you want to experience falconry at its best, look no further. This is the place to be.

Hawk On Hand Falconry was an AMAZING experience! Our family did this as a family gift for Christmas together. We booked the “triple threat” experience which were three diverse birds that were exceptional. Having a knowledgeable and personable falconer like Adam certainly enhanced the experience, as he provided valuable insights into the behavior, care, and training of these remarkable birds. Adam took the time to explain the intricacies of falconry and the logistics involved, making the experience both educational and enjoyable for everyone! Adam also took amazing photos simultaneously throughout the experience (he was multi-talented). Experiences like these create lasting memories and deepen the appreciation for wildlife and Adam's skill craft.

Thank you for a most wonderful learning experience. We are SO doing this again soon! Big wild birds, but look - whether it was the hawk flying to the 9-year-old or the buzzard to mom carrying her baby, we felt completely safe. The lecture that came with it was most interesting and easy to understand at any level, and the trainer is not only well-educated and articulate, but a genuinely nice guy. We were so happy the rest of the day because it did our hearts good being with him and his birdies. (Did you know that barn owls are genetically related to hummingbirds?)

This was a fun and unique experience. Adam was a knowledgeable and skilled guide. He was even willing to accommodate my 2 yr old daughter. We were all able to pet and fly the 3 birds Adam brought. They were well trained and handled and I never worried about them reacting poorly to my toddler. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in falconry or any family looking for a fun outdoor activity. It was a great alternative to the zoo.

Incredible experience! If I could give this 10 points I would. Adam's birds are absolutely amazing. We all, had a blast. Just experiencing these birds up close is a truly unique experience. On top of that, our time with Adam has been thoroughly educational. As a bird biologist, Adam is extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and made this fun, interesting and memorable also for our kids. What a great experience! Adam took his time showing us his beautiful raptors. He explained the history of falconry and thoroughly talked us through each breed of raptor he had. Each of us in our group had the opportunity to fly and feed the birds multiple times. Lastly, Adam took tons of photos! Can't wait to see how they turn out. Overall, an amazing time.... I couldn't stop smiling. Pure joy!

The Hawk On Hand falconry experience was one of coolest experiences of my life, and I seriously can not stop thinking about it. I organized this experience for my moms 80th birthday and we all loved it. Adam, owner of Hawk on Hand, taught us about the ancient art and history of falconry and all that he has to go through to care for these beautiful birds of prey. We got to handle a barn owl, a Hawk and Auger Buzzard (and boy was she heavy). Adam also takes gorgeous photos of you with the birds and sends you the link. It was an awe inspiring experience that I highly recommend!! Thank you so much Adam!!

Amazing Experience! This was the perfect mix of "fun and entertaining". The birds were beautiful and the detail and care that went into their training was evident. Adam was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions we had. He expertly demonstrated the birds' abilities and it was a thrill to have them fly and land on my outstretched arm. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a unique and exciting activity. Great for kids and adults!

One of a kind experience, will definitely do more of these in the future. It made my boyfriend and I fall in love with birds (even more than we already do!) Adam was super friendly and his bird knowledge was very impressive. He answered all of our questions and educated us so much. 10/10 Can’t wait to do this again!

My husband booked the "triple threat" for me and my family for my birthday and it was truly an exceptional once-in-a-life-time experience! Adam is an extremely knowledgeable falconer and guide. It was awesome to see him handle the magnificent birds with such finesse. Holding the owl was surreal! What a beautiful and gentle encounter. Then came time for the hawks to show their stuff. Having them land on my arm was such an exhilarating thrill as one who has always loved birds. I cannot recommend Hawks on Hand enough! Thank you so very much, Adam!
