Bright, friendly, clean sports bar with upscale bar eats. I came in for breakfast and got the veggie scramble and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the dish. The combination of roasted sweet potatoes with feta cheese was a delicious combination of sweet, savory, salty and tanginess and went well with the earthiness of the mushrooms. Portions are large. Service was excellent and the host was friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of televisions displaying multiple sporting events. There are two seating areas with gigantic monitors that can be used for sports simulations like golf, soccer or carnival games or simply to watch a game with your group. This would be a great place for a group event. It is owned by the same group that owns Rustic Root next door.

I came in here with a group of about 20 people. We were in San Diego for a work trip. Within 5 minutes of being there, we were approached by an incredibly aggressive man that was in our faces, yelling at us, being pretty rude, and wouldn't go away. I went to the bar and asked if he worked there because he kept asking if we were smoking in the bar, he didn't work there so I asked for the manager to come over and help us out. The manager came over and ask the guy to move around. I asked him why he wasn't going to kick the guy out because he was clearly too drunk and aggressive. Apparently, this guy works on the same street and is a regular. The bar manager just kinda shrugged it off and brought us 9 shots of tequila for free. Personally, I would rather drink in a safe space vs drinking for free.

Honestly I really wanted to like this place. Initially there was confusion with my booking so my party did not get a Sim. The place has a good atmosphere but their online ordering system dosen’t work good, and the must be understaffed … since it took 40 minutes to close out our checks and got double things brought out due to the online system not working. The food was okay, the Meri Margarita was not good, don’t order it. Disappointed overall, there’s a lot better places in Gas Lamp, maybe they’ll get better.

Went as a small group and have already recommended to our other friends! Food was great and the simulator games were loads of fun. Our server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and courteous even though they were short staffed when we went. She even offered us a free play on the simulator when there was an opening. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

Nice take on a sports bar featuring golf. The food was good and the drinks were okay. Mind you they have only been open for ~ 2weeks and you good tell but the place has a ton of great potential. I could tell the kitchen service and bar service were still working out some kinks but everything did taste okay. Hint though make a reservation for the golf simulator. It will be really hard to just walk in and play. Plus you are on a strict time limit so be on time because you will end on time. If you haven’t finished your food or drinks they are more then willing to seat you at another table or the bar which is good. Overall really cool spot and should be great once they get into the flow of things. P.s. limited vegetarian, vegan options.

Love it here! Mixed beverages had kick, with great flavor. The ambiance is good energy and fun, but is also laid back when you want to chill, and the employees (security included) are friendly outgoing and fun! Good looking folks, cheerful, oh and duck if you hear FORE!

Looks good from the outside? Booked a simulator at 3pm. At 3:30pm they still hadn’t opened up. Finally turned out they were closed for a private event. I travelled pretty far to visit. Maybe don’t take online bookings if the venue isn’t available?

Server told my friend to have a rotten day. Place was not busy and had to wave down bar tender to pay bill (15-20 mins after we were done with our drinks) also, this place is not military friendly

Really friendly staff. Food, drinks and service were great. Can't wait to try out the simulators! Will definitely be back!

Bartender and customer service was amazing. On top of that menu is unique and has plenty of options. Food was also great and good portion sizing to share if needed. Plenty to do and overall awesome place.

We had a great time here. Special on the drinks. Our bar tender was super nice and attentive. It wasn’t too loud in here as we were still able to have good conversation and hear. We wanted to do the golf setup but reservations were full. At least we know next time

Great night out with friends. Lots of laughs as we were horrible at golf. Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and gameplay.

The food here was pretty good, I enjoyed the buffalo wings, truffle fried, and mac & cheese. They also had decent happy hour specials. We didn't do the golf simulator as we are not golfers. We saved ourselves the embarrassment. The staff was friendly and prompt. I would definitely go here again.

Excellent food. Ok service. Would definitely eat there again. I would suggest the doughnut grilled cheese with bacon, it's excellent.

Visiting San Diego, free shot intrigued us! Owner extremely talkative and friendly, from PA as well. Drinks were on par (get it) and atmosphere was one of the best i’ve been too. Highly recommend!
