I'll start with the pros, There teas are amazing and location wasn't too busy. There slow cooked eggs slapped! Really yummy. The bamboo shoots had a hint of somthing but i couldn't figure out what it was. The portions where nicely sized but expected them to be based on the price. The flavors where all there. Pretty delicious. They are quite expensive when adding extras and parking was a pain to find. They where a bit heavy on the ginger. Overall if your a college student or someone that money doesn't come as easy, i would recomend finding an other spot. Not much bang for you buck here. And with covid some tables felt a little too tight, as in they have shields that box you in and its like kinda claustrophobic in a way. I understand they do this to protect others. They do have patio seating but make sure to bring a jacket. 3.7 overall score.

Roy gave us excellent service. Loved his flourish when he left the table. The vegan spicy ramen is so good and the gluten free noodles are a good wheat substitute.

We’ve been coming here for maybe a year and it’s always delicious! They sometimes confuse the vegan delight with the vegetarian when I order it but they always make up for it 😁 we will keep on coming here

First time visiting and the food and service were great. Generous portions. I had the Nishiki ramen, and since I saw "creamy broth" I asked if it contained milk or any lactose products. The server went to ask and said all dishes are dairy free. That's not exactly true because I suffered the consequences after. It's a pity because I liked it but I won't be coming back.

Starting with the best part: The sauces and foods at Nishiki Ramen are amazing. I tried 2 bowls while there: The Vegetarian Curry Bowl and the Chicken Bowl. The Curry Sauce Nishiki is one of the best I have tasted anywhere, and I have tasted a lot in Southern CA. I loved the broth in my chicken ramen before the world's hottest Death Sauce add-in. The death sauce chile-oil add-in has strong tastes of the ghost chile so if you love the smoky flavor of a ghost chile you will like the death sauce add-in in your broth though I will say it does overpower the original taste of the broth, I recommend tasting your broth before and after. The Okonomi sauce that comes with the chicken katsu appetizer might be one of the best condiments in San Diego. I recommend the sweet, tangy, gingery, Okonomi experience to anyone willing to try it. Regarding service, while the staff were professional, I did not get many smiles nor a feeling I was welcomed at the restaurant, which was disappointing. Kenny was our server, and he was both sweet and accommodating as I got my ramen with no noodles and extra cabbage. CULINARY PRO TIP: One if my relatives ordered a fish cake in her chicken Ramen and the fish cake changed the flavor of the broth to something unenjoyable, we ended up ordering her a Chicken Curry Ramen instead, a pro tip being, order some add-ins on the side as they will change the taste of your dish. My family and I plan on eating here again, and I think you will enjoy your experience as well if you like Japanese ramen. The little plastic cup is the Death Sauce in my photos.

Worst ramen I had ever in San Diego. Extremely salty and oily broth, being pricy compared to other ramen places, and in-negotiable service fee.
