Loved our stay in the Wasserfall cabin. Beautiful mornings on the porch watching ducks, cats, deer. The sound of running water and the creek were gorgeous. Amenities in the cabin were perfect. Management very responsive by text (we asked lots of questions, lol). Learning the history of Barons Creekside only made it that much better. Looking forward to next time.

This is an absolute MUST for Texans and all visitors to experience. The accommodations are customized and intricately curated as Swiss style chalets with modern necessities, balanced with rustic and minimalist charm. The location is a vast property making guests feel completely remote, while you're actually just a minute from town, shops and restaurants. The owners and management are hands on and very present, giving guests an extra special experience. After traveling all over the world, I have to say this is one of our favorite "local" / "experiential" stays at a resort. It's a very special place and we look forward to many more visits!

Ever find a place you don't want to tell anyone else out of fear of it getting ruined, yeah this is mine. We stayed in the best cabin on the property, got very close to the wildlife and ducks. Bring them oats they will be your best friends plus hope the deer loves them too.

Great place to stay in Fredericksburg. In the country in town. The cabins are comfy and quaint. Deer, ducks, peaceful setting. Then there’s The Club - very good food, music, super friendly. Highly recommend!

Daniel and Deborah are the perfect hosts with an excellent place to stay and just enjoy the outdoors, located very close to Main St. and a short drive to the wineries and Luckenbach. The Club located on sight is also a very nice venue that has live music and great atmosphere! What ever ur needs this is the place to stay and enjoy a quiet getaway. We stayed at the Big Lodge very spacious home and meets all your expectations, the cooler air sure did help enjoy the outside. Thank you for a great welcome and stay

Barons CreekSide is like a dreamy hideout in nature. The views are so beautifull, it's like a scene from a movie. And the people are as friendly as the scenery is stunning. It's the perfect spot for couples looking for a chill and beautiful escape. .

This is our second time visiting Baron's CreekSide for our anniversary. The owners are so nice and helpful. We stayed first in the Geneva and then this time in the Rhinefalls. Both cabins were amazing. The ducks and the lighted atmosphere at night is wonderful to help you unwind. We will definitely be back!

We spoke with Deb by phone making our reservation and she was incredibly helpful and pleasant and gave us great dinner recommendations. Daniel was a gracious host at The Club. Checking in and checking out was remarkably efficient. Our Farmhouse cottage was appropriately priced and had very thoughtful touches in a peaceful setting. It was a lovely experience and we will not hesitate to return.

We had a great time. The cabins are all so nice, very cabin-y for sure. The Club had some good food and good music. The location of the resort was very close to main Street. Loved the deer at night and early in the morning. Nice place to unwind and be with nature. Definitely recommend to get away for a while. We stayed at the puppy friendly cabin.

Barons is by far our favorite place to stay in Fredericksburg! The cabins are so unique and cozy. We love to try out a new one each time we stay there. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. Daniel is the ultimate host, always friendly and loves to stop and talk. The Club on the property is a must visit as well! Love the live music, wine and food. Go and stay at Baron’s CreekSide, you will not regret it!

Went for a few days to explore the Hill Country. Discovered many wineries, small towns and must drive's like the Willow City Loop. When your done exploring for the day, go have dinner at their great restaurant. Live music many nights, and the owner, Daniel, is always there (in season). Dan and the rest of the staff are attentive and fun to talk with.

The level of peace and tranquility abound on the property. The accommodations are very carefully thought out and executed. Every detail covered. Great location close to Main Street. It's the only place we like to stay when in Fredericksburg.

Absolutely over the top resort hill country cabins. Grounds are so comfortable and relaxing. Friendly cats and ducks oh and the staff. Owner lives 2 cabins away and came over to say welcome. Stayed in the same cabin in 2015 I’m back

We just left log cabin Geneva. I highly recommend not only Geneva, but the entire Barons Creekside community. We met the owners on the first day and were impressed. The Club (on site restaurant) was laid back, had good food, good live band, and beautiful sunset! Our room was clean & had many at-home conveniences. We will be going back! Thank you, Barons Staff!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Barons Creekside, a quirky (daresay "eccentric") lodge with multiple cabins names after locations in Switzerland or Swiss German descriptors (e.g., "Wasserfall", for the water fall that runs next to this cabin). Our first night was challenging because our first cabin had a distinct mildew-like odor that made my and my wife's eyes itch. However, the son's nephew, Simon, was kind enough to move us to a different cabin that was quite pleasant, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. In high season, these rooms, like all hotels/lodges in Fredericksburg, are expensive--running $300/night. However, the grounds are like an amusement park, the service/people are wonderful, and the location is good--just 4 minutes from Main street and 3 minutes from the only Starbucks in town. The place has charm.

This is our second time staying here at Barons and it never disappoints! The owners are friendly, accommodating and make a point to say hello. We love the cabins and a huge plus is the “Club” which is located on site. Great ambiance and food for a lovely end to your evening. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a beautiful experience in Fredericksburg!

If you're going to the Texas Wine Country, this is the place to stay! The cottages are so comfortable and clean. They have everything in them you could possibly need! They have a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, dishes, cork screw, wine glass, and more. The grounds are beautiful and we loved the very friendly ducks. You can tell the owner put a ton of love into this place. It's super close to many wineries and Main Street, but when you're there you feel like you are out on a country ranch. The restaurant is great and was busy with live music on a Saturday night. The restaurant is situated away from the cottages, so you still get a quite get away even if the restaurant is full. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

When we set foot in the lovely Lucerne cabin the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. I mean it’s a cabin and meant to be rustic but it was spotless! The attention to detail in the decor was amazing. Just so peaceful and a real respite from the often hectic pace of life, yet just a couple of minutes drive to historic Fredericksburg, loaded with charming shops and incredible cuisine. The staff was ready to help with any questions and the owner was very responsive to a small recommendation we made regarding needs seniors might have that others might not. He said they had already begun to consider ways they might address the unique needs of an aging population. That spoke volumes to me about his humility, and a true desire to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers who might use his facility. You will definitely not go wrong by coming here. I believe there is a cabin that would be perfect for each person. We will most definitely be back. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We are repeated visitors. The ambiance here is awesome. The Club had good food and the band was a blast. Location is stellar. The owner Daniel is quit nice.

Wonderful place to stay! The cabins are spaced out so there is plenty of privacy and a nice porch on each. The Club, the on-site restaurant and bar, has live music, and is fun as well. Daniel, Deborah, and Simon are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing and relaxing time at Baron’s Creekside! The cozy cabins are so comfortable and nicely done…each is one of a kind. Daniel and the entire BC staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. The resort is 3 min from downtown so it’s the perfect mix of quiet privacy and easy access to all the fun things to do in Texas Hill Country. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back to Baron’s!!

Larry was AWESOME! 10 out of 10 recommend! If your not a big wine drinker and only like sweet wines. Don’t give up on the first couple wines because he’s got YOU!

We stayed in the Morgarten cabin. It is named after a Swiss battle from long ago. The cabin was really interesting and made with exterior elements brought over from Switzerland. There were ducks outside by the little pond and it was very nice and peaceful. It is hard to explain how unique this place is. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels / resorts over the years and I’ve never really seen anything like this. For all its uniqueness, the cabin has what you need in terms of modern amenities, too. There is a restaurant as well that you can walk to and have dinner / a drink or two and that way you don’t have to drive home afterwards. It isn’t cheap but that is because it is unique. We will try a different cabin the next time we are in the Austin area!

We enjoyed staying @Barons Creek Side. We stayed 4 nights @ The Grindelwald cabin. This exceeded our expectations. Every cabin had view of the creak. We enjoyed our peaceful mornings having coffee in the rocking chairs on the porch watching the wildlife. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The club was a lot of fun. We will definitely be back . Thank you Baron Creek Side for giving us the enjoyable memories . we will treasure.

People are so friendly and helpful here! We stayed in a Swiss cabin and it was so comfy and relaxing . They thought of everything when designing these . The grounds were very well kept and clean - truly an amazing stay!!!! We will definitely be back. Our friends joined us as well and stayed in the Victorian - they too said the stay was amazing and relaxing !

Quaint, clean, well-appointed, relaxing indoor & out regardless of temperature. Entertainment close by, but far enough away to not impose on the lodging. Great house wine at The Club, lovely friendly wildlife, gracious hosts. We stumbled on this place during last-minute planning and we will definitely be back!

This place is incredible. So beautiful so relaxing. The cabins have so much attention to detail very charming each cabin is unique. Wildlife and wine at your door step! Most comfortable bed I have slept in while traveling.

My wife and I had a terrific stay and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property! As former hotel owners we were very impressed with Daniel, his vision, the history of the property and how it has been transformed over the years to become the remarkable place it is today. We really enjoyed meeting Daniel (he was a most gracious host) and we had a fabulous meal at the Club - the music, the bottle of CreekSide wine and the gorgeous sunset pretty much put our evening over the top! We will make sure to schedule a few days here every time we come back to Texas and are already looking forward to our next visit!!!

👍👍 The Vineyards is a nice pleasant park just on the outskirts of town with a quiet hill country feel. My wife and stayed Fri-Mon and enjoyed our stay tremendously. We would have preferred to have been spaced out just a bit in the park and not right next to someone if possible, since 80% of the park...
