This is a "not to miss" attraction. If you can peek in from the bridge during work days, you can see them in the work yard working on and firing up the steam engines. On open days they give rides at a very reasonable price. And the ride covers a long loop and an inner short loop. Fantastic town models along the way and a huge trestle bridge. The trains are 1/8th scale. The detail on the engines is remarkable.

A wondrous experience for children and adults alike! Details the science and economics of locomotives... and includes a winding tour aboard a small train! Tour guides extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter.

During Halloween they have the ghost train. As a frequent visitor to anything #Halloween, this is real treat. It's unique to LA. They offer ticket prices to pay extra for a timed ticket, or save the money & wait in line general admission. After all, it is an experience so worth the wait. The sets are terrific & really show what can be done with a budget. Parking is free! Kids love it. You ride on a mini train which lasts about 20 min. The ticket prices aren't low, but it's something worth doing at least once in your life!

A great place, definitely worth going with children! It's a lot of fun to ride on little trains; the walk takes about 15-20 minutes. Interesting scenery, bridges, tunnels will bring a lot of fun.

I really wish they paved the dirt parking lot. That's my only complaint. $4 per ticket is a good deal for this unique attraction. Disabled people can ride free if you ask for a VIP ticket. They run on donations and are only open Sundays until 3pm.

The train ride is only open on Sundays and every third Sunday there is a museum that you can walk around in and around the grounds. We went when only the train ride was open though. The ride was pretty fun for the kids, it had a bunch of miniature town displays to see along the route and the ride was fairly long. The price is $4 for all and you must be over 34" to ride.

Wonderful rides on miniature steam, electric and gas powered trains. The club members are friendly, the ride is fun, my kids enjoy it and besides the miniature trains you can visit Walt Disneys Train Barn on the 3rd Sunday if the month.

Check ahead and make sure they are open to the public when you visit. If they are open, it is the best place in Los Angeles to visit. Clean and friendly and a ton to see!

For those who have an appreciation for railroads, this is a great place to visit. It is especially appealing to children as well. The train ride is especially impressive while traversing the high trestle. It's a well run place manned by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Very nice train ride! It went a little longer than we expected, so that was nice. The staff is all very friendly. Great for kids. Perfect for a day at Griffith or LA Zoo to break up the day. Worth the price of admission.

If you are a train enthusiast and in the LA area, you really need to pay them a visit. Great layout and lots of nice people running the trains and ticket booth. Check their website for schedule of rides and the museum.

Dedicated train enthusiasts maintain & provide rides on scale-sized trains through models of miniature buildings and towns, over bridges and through tunnels. On the 3rd Sunday of every month, a barn from Walt Disneys property is open as a museum experience.

The ride was better than expected. I was pleasantly surprised by all the small little towns, long tunnels and tall bridges the train crosses. Great ride for tots at an unbelievable 4bucks per person. 5 stars all the way.

This place is awesome!!!! Open ONLY on Sunday's from 11am to 3pm. Ample parking. Once u get in, stand in line to get tickets for the train ride. U cannot walk around to look at train in here. Strictly for rides only and there's a small enclosed area when u see miniature tracks and trains near the entrance. $3 per ride. No babies. Kids must be above 34" to ride and must be accompanied by one adult. The ride itself was AWESOME! A good 10 mins if not more. So worth the price and u get to see all these mini trains and riding on one!
