I usually don't like to give reviews. but it's important for me to let all mothers who are expecting to not do the prenatal care with them. I am a first time mom. I had schedule my first prenatal appointment thinking I was going to see an actual doctor. all i saw was all these "case workers" all my first 4 appointments were with them. a waste of time for me to be honest. now I had called the emergency line and told them I had some bleeding and I wanted to see a doctor as soon as possible. All I got was a "your not bleeding a lot you can wait till your appointment" I head out to the ER and got checked. they told my I had High blood pressure that I need to let the doctor know. well 2 days later i see a doctor all he does is go over what the hospital said that I was already aware of. he did blood work and that's it. second time i go back to the ER and same the next time I got to the facility I see another different doctor who totally ignored my high blood pressure. and scared me with saying my baby might have not developed. they made me an appointment to see another case worker. at this point i am done. thank God i changed doctors and facility. the new Doctor focused on me and the baby. i should have been high risk because my blood pressure something this facility never payed attention. and not to mention they wanted me to go to all these useless appointments before i can see an actual doctor. never again.

The people at the front desk are nice. However all it takes is one person to ruin it. My wife came to the clinic for an appointment for pain that she was having, and she was pregnant. The lady who checked her out was a mid-wife named Nancy Martinez. She just skimmed over my wife, said it’s not pregnancy related, go to the ER at a hospital. Turns out that when we got to the hospital my wife was already 3cm open and was going in labor. Nancy could of looked but she decided not to. She started raising her voice too because my wife couldn’t remember a date. Nancy is rude and I would stay away from this place. We tried filing a complaint but the person at the phone didn’t want to file a complaint.

My pregnancy was considered high risk so they had to speak with the provider before accepting my case. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK, had no idea if they were still going over it. Máxima the case worker said she would expedite my case since I was over 9 weeks gestation never got back to me.

Physical therapy receptionist have no concern for your wellbeing. I did my due diligence by calling my insurance 3 times. was given an authorization on 21st but they wouldn't see me on 26th. receptionists have an attitude as if I am inconviencing them . After 5 calls nobody told me I could pay out of pocket until after second scheduled appt was cancelled due to my "invisible" authorization. I was told "it's not us... it's your insurance". I was transferred to referals twice & was disconnected twice after being on hold for 15 min both times. I was also told "they wouldnt have scheduled you if it wasnt authorized, yet that same day I was called 25th to be cancelled ..laughable this system is a total failure. This is a circus & wouldn't trust them with my medical care now. they are unhelpful & the attitude is unprofessional. PT Carla Baxter was great but with the incompetence at the front desk I do not trust my personal information or care is their priority here. I have used Dermatology loved them, vision, Primary doctors beach clinic so helpful & detailed with my care.. & now a Neurologist through family health centers all professional & helpful. PT on landis was a nightmare. This landis location is the worst. I've worked in a medical office for 10 years. this is not how you treat patients. period. we would be fired if we spoke to patients in this manner. UNBELIEVABLE.

Got a random call from these people today confirming my "appointment" for a physical health assessment, supposedly tomorrow. I never made an appointment, and they claimed my insurance provider made it for me. I called my insurance provider and asked them about this. They have no record of ever having made this appointment. I am on disability for a severe traumatic brain injury and have been targeted before by other "medical" groups claiming I am due for a disability assessment, but NONE of these are issued by social security. Several other friends of mine in the TBI community have been targeted in this fashion, and to the best of my understanding their game is to hope you show up so their unqualified medical staff can give bogus evaluations and pass it off to social security to get your benefits denied. The most sickening part of this is that from what I have HEARD, these groups are actually contracted out by the federal government for this purpose. Don't ever go here, and if they claim you DO have an appointment, check who made it. Predators.

Worst clinic ever. Don’t go here for your prenatal care. They’re so unprofessional and always late even though they’re never busy. Doctor and case manager failed to schedule my next appointment even though I’m already 36 weeks pregnant and my doctor said I should be seen every week now until baby is due. I have been waiting for 2 hours to be seen and Dr Laura Boston is nowhere to be found. I was told I had high blood pressure and I told doctor I had all symptoms of preeclampsia but they didn’t seem to care at all. Wish I could give 0 stars

I made an appointment over the phone. Took time off and drove down there. I go over to check-in and they tell me I don’t have an appointment. Wasted time and gas when I already don’t feel great. Wasn’t offered a walk-in appointment or an apology. I made a new appointment over the phone. Now I have to wait weeks. Time is of the essence when someone is sick.

I seen a doctor almost a month ago she diagnosed me with a mass on my liver. She was going on vacation I'll be out for vacation until July 1st she set me up trying to get me a referral to imaging to get a CT scan now I'm at the end of the month and still haven't got a CT scan the imaging place said they never got the referral from family health centers of San Diego Landis Street I've been back and forth the entire month between family health centers of San Diego Landis Street and the insurance company plus the imaging company I'm getting nowhere the only one that's actually helped me as the insurance company. Don't tell somebody they have a mass and just leave them for dead. The mental torment is unbearable. I really feel family health centers of San Diego has really dropped the ball!

A nurse passed out outside this clinic and the clinic refused to help her or check her blood sugar because it was after 3. What kind of rule over looks the health of an obvious health need that needs immediate attention. Will no longer recommend anyone come here unless you have absolutely no other choice.

We decided to go to this place because of the distance from home, since I am working all day, my wife can just walk there. She is pregnant and its our first. The doctors are ok but for apointments its always other random people. Aparently she is given meds although the doctor never mentioned anything. She had her first ultrasound and couldnt find the baby. Then they started saying that it was a miscarriage and if she had bleeding. She was treated like a liar. And mind you that even in these times(covid19) I should be able to be there for my wife as she has to deal with being told over abd over that she lost her baby to the point of fainting. If the information is just probable, then there shouldn't be pressure applied to a pregnant woman, EVEN they think there was a loss. Edit: Was told due to stress, she lost the baby...

Whenever I call, customer service is always rude. Can the clinic explore solutions, so this issue can be resolved? The physicians are helpful and are nice, but the customer service, is terribly rude.

This clinic is very small for the amount of people they see. Also, the seats are extremely close to each other, which can be very concerning if people are sick. Came here early on a Monday morning and the place was packed. If I ever make an appointment with Family Health Center again, I'll definitely be heading to a different clinic.

THE WORST AND WEIRD EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! I took my child very early appointment who also has a disability, for her annual check up and saw Nurse Practitioner MICHEAL OWENS. He is rude, obnoxious and definitely does not let u express ur own opinions on ur own child or does he know how to interact with a child that has a disabilites!! As a parent with a child who has disabilites has the Right to be concerned and has the Right to their own opinions! I would not MICHEAL OWENS ever!

I went to get my implant for birth control removed and Dr. Laura Boston was able to remove it in less than 2 minutes! I had previously gone to another clinic earlier this year to get the implant removed and after about an hour of poking at my arm that doctor couldn’t get it out and I was left with an ugly scar and a ton of bruising. I wish I would’ve gone here first! Thank you DR. LAURA BOSTON!!!

WORST prenatal care ever wouldnt recommended at all . The case worker are not helpful at all they make your pregnancy 10x worst. Didnt give me my medication when I even went back up to double check if everything was in order the case worker said yes . When i went to get my medication they said it was not prescribed by doctor he didn’t sign had to pay never gave me my confirmation of pregnancy. The first time going i was vommiting like crazy because they gave me heavy medication i went down stair to draw my blood I asked for other throw up bag and the lady who draws blood told me “its not my job “ lol what type of worst ethic is that? Compassion is supposed to be the first thing working in that area . Ive seen all the respond they give to negative comment and they just making excuses blaming use the patients its a joke . The churcher or wtv he’s called was so disrespectful he tried to slam the door in my face … I went out to use the bathroom quick left my face mask as i was heading to my room quickly he follows me inside says he’s “churcher” shows his tag enforcing his title 😂 and says he can refuse my service today when that’s a lie when speaking to the lady who runs the facility she said “they cant refuse you service unless your denying to cooperate with the regulations “ i never denied the regulations . Ill be getting the names of everyone also ;) so you guys can keep a eye out

Wow. Worst clinic I have EVER been to in my life. They never have appointments available, I had to wait three months to get a dentist appointment for my baby. Not to mention Dr. Felicia Briones is extremely rude. I wanted to do a phone appointment with her and o waited 3 weeks for the appointment, when I finally got her on the phone she said that she could not help me that I needed to go into the office even though I just had some general questions. I then started trying to explain to her that it was really hard for me to miss work and get a babysitter but she Rudely interrupted me saying that everyone has some problem and basically saying that she didn’t care. She has no empathy whatsoever and it is concerning that this Dr. is working on healthcare but she is so numb to peoples problems.
