I really like this musuem, the price is amazing. ( I think is less than 5 dollars). I hope it gets renovated a bit soon. I think the information it provides is amazing and accurate, it does a good job in provided history of native communities, I wish it had more info about the languages, tradition and main holidays too. There were some typos in the English translation, but they do a very good job in translating all of it. I think this a treasure in Tijuana. I can spend the entire day in the Cecut.

Very nice display, well presented and overall very interesting. Take the time to check the descriptions, some are mind blowing. Some areas lack proper light in my opinion, though.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful. Great summary and exhibition of the history of the Mexican Californias. Permanent exhibition that is complemented with temporary artistic or cultural exhibitions of free access. Essential if you visit Tijuana. Annex is the building The Cube where they have three exhibition halls, as well as the Imad cinema and the Film Library with varied and interesting projection of author's films. Includes a mandatory cafeteria to have varied and authentic espresso coffee (not the typical Americans). There is also a very interesting restaurant (own review). It is surrounded by a garden with specimens of all types of cactus and plants that are in the peninsula and includes a free access botanical garden that delves into that idea and includes reproductions of sculptures and pre-Hispanic art pieces. There is also a small aquarium with specimens from the area and other parts of the world. Not very interesting, although its low price makes it worthwhile if you have time. There are days of free entry. It has public parking that facilitates access. It has free wifi accessing with a Facebook account. Access for people with disabilities, very clean bathrooms, very attentive employees and the possibility of hiring guides for a more complete visit. (Original) Maravilloso.

(Translated by Google) The Museum of the Californias offers an extensive tour through the history not only of the city but of the entire state starting from prehistory through the colonial era to the present day. There is a wide exhibition of works of art: scale models, paintings, sculptures, ships, fossils and weapons as well as old garments, vessels, coins and tools for daily use. They mention the local fauna and flora and sculptures of native plants are present throughout the museum. My favorite part is the penultimate section where they expose the beginnings and the foundation of Tijuana with a great panoramic photograph. Attending the museum is to live the history again, and I really recommend it a lot to better appreciate this city.

Pretty cool museum about the history of the Baja California area. Most of the exhibits are in both English and Spanish so that makes it nice. The price is super good too only 20 pesos per person.

Starts off slowly with early history, but the coverage between the missions and modern day Baja California is fascinating. Needs better signage for where the box office is.

The structure is amazing the entrance was cheap they a lot of great stuff to see if you love history or want to learn more about Mexico history it’s a good place to start I really appreciate how once you enter you start from when we had different tribes and how the years changed a lot when religion took a rule . Also how people from china came to Mexico I think it is very cool cause many people don’t know that part of history it can explain why many of us have Asian features. I would really recommend this museum just a lot of great things to learn also don’t forget to take a walk in the garden where you can see many temple of Aztec and maya gods .

The museum isn’t large and features Baja colonial history and a little bit of natural history. You can walk the entirety of the collection in under an hour very easily. The Museum is located in the Cecut, or Centro cultural de Tijuana and there was a festival going on right outside the museum when I went. There is many things to do in the Cecut and the nicer part of Tijuana is very nearby.

Like everything else in Centro Cultural Tijuana, the museum is very well put together. I felt like I was walking in time from the first indigenous people that lived here, to the modern day people that call this piece of land "home". Highly recommended.

(Translated by Google) The museum is a must see. They can take a brief tour through the history of the region. However, the museum looks run down and old. A remodeling of the exhibits would be nice to make it much more attractive. However, the exhibits in the room on the first floor are first-rate and up-to-date. Sundays are free.
