My favorite shop to visit at Old Town San Diego! I walk around like a kid in a candy store when I'm in there :) I've been obsessed with geology since I was a child, so I enjoy the shop's focus on geology rather than the typical spiritual aesthetic of other crystal shops. This shop stands out with its fantastic quality of many different crystals, fossils, and jewelry at fair prices. I highly recommend it!

This place was so cool. Im not a crystal guy haha, but the wife picked up several things things. She was impressed by the unique selection, I was surprised by the fair prices considering this is a tourist area.

Great collection to look at. It was worth a trip sonce i was in the area. It seemed to me that tourist pricing was in full effect, so I didn't purchase anything. They did have some really nice specimens.

Wasn't too impressed. The specimens that you'd want to buy are over priced and the affordable items are touristy samples like heart shapes pocket stones and bead bracelets, which were over priced. It felt more like a personal collection on display, over priced in case you bought anything. You walk in in search of something interesting to buy but the prices are way too high & the items are small. Left with nothing bc even the tourist stuff was just too much for what it was. Beautiful shop, though, with nice specimens. They just didn't seem like they were really for sale.

Part of Old San Diego. The area was amazing. I purchased 2 arrowhead made from limestone. Really cool and inexpensive for a limestone arrowhead of this size. 2nd time to this particular store. The Staff is extremely knowledgeable and super educated about most types of minerals. I will definitely go back, if I am in the area. ✌️ to all!!!

What a wonderful shop in old Town San Diego. This shop has curios mainly to do with crystals and stones. However if you take a longer look you find old coi s and other antique things for sale all at a price that won't break the bank. Which for old town is a pleasant surprise.

Loved this place and the variety of stones and gems they had readily available. I purchased a necklace for myself and a few necklaces for my nieces. There were so many neat stones, gems, solid rocks of amethyst and other precious stones. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday👍🏼

I visit every time I come to San Diego. Love looking at the necklace pendants for something I don't have and would like to add to my collection. Prices reasonable. Owners seem a little grumpy most of the time though.

Lots of specimens and faceted stone. It's more like a mineral museum!. If you like gemstones and specimens, you won't be disappointed!

Small little shop selling miner trays with gems in the dirt. Believe it’s about $10.00 and there are washing stations out front.

Best shop in all of Old Town. Awesome rocks and designs for literally any budget. The gentlemen running the place are quite friendly, and best of all the prices are quite frankly LOW. They're not ripping you off like so many other tourist spots. You can easily buy multiple GOOD gifts here for way way under $50.

If you have a family member who is a rock hound and screams with joy when they see and find rocks, then this is their Disneyland. The shop has a very well stock and selection of rocks and fossils. This shop is on par with those we have see in Montana on the dinosaurs trail. Some of the items are on the high tourist priced side, but they are unique, and for those rock lovers, they can find a special rock. Make sure to check out the fossil on both sides of the display when you first walk in. Also, there are some great affordable round rocks in the left corner from the main door that make for great addition to any collection.

Amazing place! We come all the way from Orange County as often as we can to visit Miner's Gems. The most beautiful collections of gem jewelry and lots of other fun stuff for kids.

Beautiful gems! We come here frequently and always find something special, its a great place for unique gifts. On my last visit I was having trouble finding a ring in my size. Dasha was wonderful! She gave me several options and didn't give up until I walked away with something I was truly happy with. She was kind and superb at customer service. I highly recommend visiting this store.

Nice store. Lots of crystals and Geos. If you don't have cash there is a super expensive ATM not to far away.

Great place to shop for stones, from petrified wood to almost any rock or mineral. I have been collecting since I was little and always keep coming back to this place. The manager Dana and Dasha are always very helpful. Highly recommend!
