If you are in Balboa Park on Saturdays or Sundays make sure to venture to The cottages of the different countries, there are about fifty different cottages that are open between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. 100% free!!! if you're going to make a BIG monetary donation keep it for the house of Ukraine, they need our help more than any other place on Earth right now. The Ukrainians are not only fighting for their freedom, they are fighting for the freedom of world!

Highly recommended! It is a gorgeous little museum of Ukraine which was recently redecorated. It has many ethnic traditional items to see, and the volunteers are happy to answer questions and explain what the items are. I think the House of Ukraine does a great job representing unique Ukrainian culture.
