It's sad to say but this dog park could use a little love. Perhaps it's reflective of the dog culture in the area. Which mainly consists of dogs in their back yards that hardly get walked or taken out. I can say that because I have lived in Chula Vista my whole life and I specifically lived in this very part of CV for half of it. But that's just my opinion. If I had to state facts, here we go. Pros: -The park is HUGE. Plenty of space for dogs to run wild - There are two fenced sides to the dog park. One side for 20lbs or less, other for 20lbs or more. HUGE benefit of you have small Fido's. -Lots of parking -Shares the property with the local library Cons: -Lots of trash -Dog poop everywhere (from careless owners) -Broken / decommissioned water faucet -Homeless reside right next to the park (I have absolutely no problem with this personally but don't expect 13yr old Brittney to take a walk by herself to use the park, nah mean?)

I went there because google has it marked like a dog park, but never found the dog area. Other than that it has a good size for playing soccer, football, etc. Picnic area also available.

Very clean and nice always a pleasant time to spend a couple of hours. Today at the park my kid somehow fell off the the big slide and when he hit that Afro turf he bounced this is one of the safest parks I’ve ever been to have never seen a child bounce on the turf surrounding the playground

Nice park with clean and working equipment. Has basketball court and grass field to play sports on with a track that runs around the field. Next door is the library where there is clean restrooms and across from that is a small dog park. Always parking.

Glad they opened this park in the neighborhood. Gives my kids a great opportunity to meet new kids with similar interest and not even go to the same school. I wish people would clean their parties aftermath a lot better. The play ground is not near the main road and the library is next door.

We went to this park with a girl friend it was my first time there and I loved it. The love the rubber mat down so if my kid fell it wouldn't be that bad. The play area is amazing. And we went on a Wednesday they have local community people out there with a tent, games, soccer plays, hula hoops, small art n craft table, board games etc. And they are out there entertaining and making it more fun. I loved everything min of it.

Great doggy park but the transients or careless people like to make a mess. I assume they go there to smoke, drink and eat and leave all of their trash. That trash includes broken glass! All that is usually found in the larger dog area, which is why I've switched my pups over to the smaller one.
