Cottonwood Park is located in Chula Vista, the park features a playground, animal structures, three shaded gazebos, a large basketball court, open green space, and walking path. The playground is rather small but fun for the kiddos. The playground features climbing equipment, slides, swings, and unique animal structures. Some of the playground equipment was boarded but the a city employee actually mentioned they will be having it fixed soon and was taking photos of the boarded area (the reason I gave the park 4 stars). Bathrooms are available and a parking lot area.

Small community park but it has a good basketball court and a good trail for walking and biking! There is a public restroom too.

It's well kept with a Baseball field, soccer field, basketball court, a walking trail, and a beautiful view of the mountains. What more can you ask for?

The boys enjoyed it. They loved the open field. There is a zip line. It's very clean

I stop here every Friday on my lawn maintenance route to use restrooms. Always clean there always people doing activities basketball, yoga having lunch. Sometimes in cars just enjoying the shaded parking spots.

Park with picnic areas, fields, basketball court and a baseball field. Kids really liked the play structure although the swings were a bit broken. Clean restrooms were appreciated.

Good for older toddlers maybe 4+. My two year old only had a few things to play with. Currently the big slide is closed which is the main reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise good. I like that it has a rubber floor instead of Sand.

Saw a soccer game. Noticed that around 4:45 the area was getting dark. Park needs lighting for grass area when field is being used. Restrooms need frequent cleaning too. It would be an added beautification to the park if benches were placed facing the play areas.

It's nice and clean, the playground is not big and the main biggest slide has been closed for about 2 months.

Park is great for parties games and gathering. Minus one star due to parking.

Small parking lot area near where the kids playground is. Lots of grass, and actually is quite spacious. Family celebration, felt safe for the kids to play. Nice and relaxing!

Great park, small enough for kids and plenty of room for sports or to play with your dog. Also a good spot to eat lunch and get away from the office all while sitting in the shade

It is spacious, has a playground for kids and was being used by numerous kids the day we went.

It has a nice play structure I think rated 5-12 (but my 2 year old did fine), a few swings for both toddler and little kids, field, basketball court, covered picnic area. We take our kids there to skate/scooter, because the trail around works as a good contained space. Never been when it felt too crowded, even before Covid. It is located next to a very welcoming church and across from many little take- away lunch spots and a sushi restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Easily accessed by bus even. It has restrooms and there is a baseball field too, though I'm not sure if that is church property or city property. This was one of the first parks we visited upon moving to CV and although we have been to just about all of them now, we still come back to this one.

Great lil park and at a good distance for a long walk!

They keep this park very clean. It's in a nice area, but the road is very busy so don't expect it to be a super quiet area. There's a lot of gazebos so there's plenty of space to hang out and enjoy a bite comfortably in the shade. Playground is usually busy during the day but the rest of the park doesn't, it depends on the games of the day. The restrooms are doorless but clean and stocked. All in all is a good park in a nice neighborhood.

Beautiful place to take kids there is a playground there and you can sit on the grass to just relax..
