Delicious batter fried cod, and nice skinny fries that are creamy smooth inside. I love it that they put malt vinegar in mini cops for carry out orders! Yum! Great marina views! Just don't bring anyone who gets too concerned about cleanliness. This is a bustling place with some of the seating outside with walkways in need of a good power wash.

This is my to go park because it’s very near our place. I’m also monitoring the soon to rise Gaylord Resort and Convention Center coming summer of 2025.

Fine spot for BBQ with the family. Lots of parking during the week. It will get busier as the 10 billion dollar Bayfront Project keeps moving forward. The boat ramp had lots of sting rays and the squirrels have concrete rooftops 😱😂🐿🐿🐿🐿. They are so used to being fed they walk up to you.

One of my places of peace. I love to go and slap my favorite playlists and play along on my cajon. If the mood hits, Carpool Karaoke is a given.

A simple place, full of calming beauty... also wheelchair accessible, and the ramps are not too steep. Or hard on your hands if you're in a manual chair.

This is a nice place for adults to spend a day together, but it's not good for kids because there are no swings or an area for them to play.

This park is wonderful and if you need to park for a few hours before you check into your RV park, plenty of room.

  • 4/5 Alex C. 8 months ago on Google
Quiet and relaxing place most of the time. Nice view of the ocean. There are squirrels around the edge where the big rocks are. Walking pathway seems clean and saw some people walking their leashed dogs. There's plenty of parking but it needs some restoration.

My experience at Chula Vista Bay Park was generally great, with its scenic beauty shining through. However, I couldn't help but notice an increasing issue with people using the park for illicit activities and a growing homeless population. While these challenges don't diminish the park's inherent charm, addressing these concerns would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for everyone.

Very beautiful location. Facilities are limited. Great place for a hike or a walk. Facilities are better on the strand side of the bay. But the state parks charge a fee. If you can afford to drive to the strand and pay the state park fee it's a better experience. You can even choose which side of the bay you want the oceanside or the Bayside.

A pretty little spot to relax for a bit, read a book, listen to a podcast, or have a picnic. Also a great place to bring your dog. Most everyone is mindful of the leash requirements and willing to let the dogs socialize when that's an option. The view is pretty and sunsets are gorgeous.

It's always been lonely there but now that they chased our wild life off looks like the ordinary old bay front the Construction of the??? Has began and who knows where these precious Aves have been placed after all the year of General Dynamics has shut down and no interest of preserving these wild life for what I see

It was nice park both sides of Marina, south side smaller, not sure bathrooms, but plenty of parking, few places for Picnic seating. Not grills, but opportunity to walk out into water, and put boat in water(South side). Dinning option on North side, restrooms, long beach/bay area. Festivals held here too. Parking outside of waterfront, park area.

Cool spot. They finally opened the restrooms. You can chill and watch the ocean. There are places to have a picnic. It is one of the local spots for the lowrider scene . I would recommend it if you want to get out.

Awesome place for a walk, to bring your kids or just enjoy the breeze and views of the marina and the coronado bridge. Bring your boat or eat at the seafood restaurant, this place have it all!! Just avoid restrooms in the park

Love the bay in Chula Vista. Always loved to sail and would rent one from time to time years ago before my work injury. The park has a children's area, restrooms and a place to launch your water worthy craft. A few groups meet there after work to show off their tricked out rides from the past. A great place for those one of a kind sunsets as old sol dips below the horizon.

This is a pleasant bay front park. San Diego has done it again, providing a multi use recreational public park. The park is well known by the local residents for providing, Estuary viewing, Bay front viewing and Picnic Tables with well maintained lawns, a Grove of mature trees, a small boat launch ramp and trailer parking and restroom facilities. Keep in mind, this is a windy area and can be cold. What is popular here, walking the well maintained sidewalk, and Car Clubs.
