Great walking path (about 2.5 miles) around the park and golf course. Some sections of the path are not paved...we visited after a rain storm and some areas were muddy. At the main park entrance/parking lot, there's a nice fenced dog park. There's also a play ground and restrooms. This is a great park...I highly recommend it!

It's definitely huuuge! Lots of places to do all sorts of activities. There is a dog park with two sides. There are baseball fields. Lots of room to play soccer or football, Basketball courts, exercise area. Plenty of picnic tables some with gazebos. Tons of trees to provide shade. Parking could be a little annoying on weekends, the only downside. Bathrooms, pretty clean, and water fountains are also provided.

Large well kept park in South Bay, San Diego. It's a great walk for beginners, which I really like since I need to keep a slower pace. It's about a 3mile walk all the way around. A lot of people come here to either walk, run or ride their bikes which makes it very safe if you ever need to go exercising alone. I really like this park because it's very dog friendly. They have a dog park on site or you can simply walk your dog on the trail. Plenty of parking too, they have multiple parking lots throughout the park so if you're meeting with a friend for the first time, make sure you guys arrange the correct parking lot.

Rohr Park is a nice walking or running trail to take when you don't want to travel far. It's 3.1 miles, but you can always choose to walk it more than once. There are peak hours..typically around 8-9am on weekends. I try to go at 7ish or even the afternoons. Today, the wind was perfect. Weekday afternoon. It is kid/pet/family friendly. Basketball courts, softball areas, picnic tables, and a new workout zone. Train for little ones..look up the website for hours and reservations for gatherings. Horses and even dirt bike areas are here. Not to mention the golf course. Dog park areas and duck feedings as you walk by.

Beautiful park, with a couple of playgrounds, public bathrooms, four basketball hoops, exercise equipment with instructions, baseball fields, picnic gazebos, picnic tables and grills. This is an excellent park for kids, and the dog park is awesome.

Great park to take your children or have parties. Nice landscape and clean bathrooms. It includes a dog park as well with a fenced area. A great place to take your dog for a walk. There is a 3.3 mile trail around the park that is great for biking, walking, jogging, or running. Highly recommended!

Rohr park is my favorite. It’s so beautiful when you see horses on the path. They have so many work out areas and a basketball court. Perfect for a walk anytime of the day!

Awesome place to take your canine companions of all breeds and sizes. Two separate spaces for small, and larger breeds. Recommended if you want to socialize your pups and adult doggies although, you may encounter a mischievous dog once in a while. But no worries, the dog community there is super friendly and makes sure things stay in control. Water fountain, and plenty of clean up bags available. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the parking. It's usually busy when we go around 3-6ish pm.

This is a big beautiful park plenty of walking trails and 2 different play areas, Large fields and different parking lots. I have yet to explore all the areas so this is based off where I have been in this park and it has been beautifully maintained. Always full of people but enjoyable and not overwhelming. Bring doggie bags for poop there wasn't any stations for bags when I walked from baseball field 17 to the green play area.

My go-to for knocking out a 5k run, which can be extended either west or east. Going west, you'll be running the Sweetwater Trails on dirt trail with flat elevation. If you go east, you'll hit Cardiac Hill under the 125 freeway. It's safe to say plenty of steep inclines. The switchbacks are a precursor to Cardiac Hill (I've run this hill many times, or should I say walked, haha! I've only run up one time without stopping). You can tailor your run from a basic 5k or extend it for a full 26.2 mile run if you wanted to.

Very safe atmosphere for families with children...not too many dogs popping next to you while trying to enjoy your meal with your family. No homeless men crowding around...

Love the 3 mile trail here. I like coming when the sun is about to set because the views are so beautiful. Parking is always easy to find if you park on the golf course side. Very kid and pet friendly.

This is such an eccentric Park but has so much to offer for everyone! Our family went for a three to four mile run around the entire park and then stopped to enjoy the playground with our little girls. They had a blast! We love the open green areas and have even availed ourselves of the dog park in the past. It's neat to see people riding around on little steam engines over the railroad tracks that have been built into the park.

New playground installed at Rohr park for children ages 5-12 is amazing! Focuses on youth fitness, and a floor is lava style obstacle course. If you'd kids are adventurous risk takers let them come here and explore the many ways to navigate the areas! Parents don't be shy to take your turn on the zip line Don't forget to fill out the survey on the sign and provide your feedback to the city if you want to see more parks like this near you!

A beautiful part of San Diego with a nice, quiet park. For those RC enthusiasts, it has a nice place for some bashing and a field with a big hill for some racing.

I’ve been enjoying walking, running, golfing and playing soccer at Rohr park for close to 40 years now. It’s clean and a great workout place for our community. The scenery with its greens, colorful trees, ponds, geese, etc. is also beautiful to take in.

I somehow, as a San Diego native, had never been to Rohr Park until a couple of weeks ago —- I know, unbelievable . So the park is huge! There’s so many areas for you to have a party or play dates or probably even a decent sized wedding- there’s a nice sized basketball court and a great long trail that my husband and I enjoyed walking around. It’s probably busier now that it’s summer break but even when we went it wasn’t too bad- definitely the park to go to

Always have a good time here. The dog area is clean and almost everyone that brings their dogs are friendly and are on top of their dogs. Never had a problem here and it's a great place for the pups to burn off a lot of energy. The only quip might be the parking, but then again it's full because it's a very good option to have fun, get some clean air and exercise.
